I have the Schuyler NASB wide margin with 9.5 point font black letter, currently on sale for $199 USD. After watching this Cambridge review I am happy with my Schuyler wide margin purchase and might buy another before they are discontinued in the 95. God bless you Jason.
Man. I can’t imagine transferring all those physical notes. I know you used to add things into logos. I’ve slowly been dropping my notes into a GIANT Evernote notebook I’ve been building, but even that is a little too much work for me right now.

I to have had a Cambridge Wide Margin since 2012 but mine is the KJV translation and it's also black letter text. I agree I do prefer the black letter text instead of red letter I feel like it interferes with my notes. I recently got the NKJV Preaching Bible and Ministers Bible from Thomas Nelson in black calfskin both are excellent bibles. I watched your video on the NKJV and I believe I do enjoy it enough to make the transition to it. I love how it keeps the original poetic language but more modern day text. I love it to the point I will be buying a new Cambridge Wide Margin in the NKJV translation. That bible is an excellent note taking bible and hard to get away from. My wife always complains about all the premium bibles I have but I use all them 🤣 excellent video.
Up until recently I've been partial to red letter editions as the change in color helped me break up the text more easily - but after using a black letter Concord Wide Margin for a month or two I've found that it really doesn't matter once you are familiar enough with the Gospels.

I have a Cambridge KJV that my great aunt gave me for high school graduation way back in 1975. They do hold up well.

The size difference of the reference columns between OT and NT is the same in the Pitt Minion. Not sure any other translations have that distinction. Somehow, though, the ESV has different sized reference columns. I wonder why.

always like your Bible comparison videos as much as your teaching videos....keep up the good work. BUT! I have a question - in total, how many Bibles do you have?
A lot of them get passed on and only stop in for the reviews. I’d say 10-15 between the ones I keep and the ones sitting around waiting to be reviewed then sent to people. I’ve got a few more sitting around that are exclusively for giveaways that I’m not counting. I actually don’t like having a lot... but I’ve kept some because they look good in the video background. 😂

Hi Jason. Great job. FYI. Cambridge ESV Wide Margin is available in black lettering only if you get the hardback. It seems all the leather covered Bibles are all red letter as you've said. I'm still waiting for the Schuyler Wide Margin to appear. I guess the first will be the KJV. Take care.
What edition of the text? 2011?
I will say that my brother found it very useful to have a red letter edition Bibleb whwn he was coming out of the Mormon religion. Not for that reason only, but I like red letter editions, although they are not crucial.
Also the reason why your new ESV appears to be thinner is because it hasn’t been written in it yet. Once you start filling it up it will get wider from the writing.
I just got convinced that NASB is the way to go, then you pull this. Ok, I need thumb tabs, why don't they all have them? Does the ink from another page bleed through? And what is the font for my old eyes? I like 13-14 font. Thank you for doing these videos.
I found a strange way to study the scripture -- not only do I read the bibles I have and write stuff down, but there's this madlad on Instagram that's gonna write out the whole damn OT. I don't think they'll be able to do it but it should be fun to watch

I really wish Cambridge would remove the cross references, and the concordance so that they can bump up the font size little on these wide margins. Idk about everybody else but I use my wide margin when I’m already around other study materials, which means I have access to other cross references
Do you do reviews on study Bibles, like the New Spirit Filled Life Study Bible or the Key Word Study Bible? Or even The Open Bible? Also, could you do a video on the different grades of genuine leather vs. goat skin vs. whatever else is out there? I bought a Bible back in 1974 that's marked Morocco leather that's the most awesome stuff ever, and ever since then, I've been spoiled as nothing even comes close? What would be, for example, the equivalent to that now days? This would really help. I'm willing and able to pay more, even if I have to get my Bible rebound, but what would I look for or ask for? What's roughly equivalent to what?
And after 7 months, how are you liking it?

Jason, what year text edition is the ESV, I been wanting to get this bible but nobody answers the question of what text edition is it? If this was produced in 2009 I would imagine it’s a 2007 text edition? Please let me know so I can buy one, from 2007 to 2011 text had a lot of changes throughout.

I love red letter and wide margin, I love NASB and have no affinity for the ESV (a poor mans NASB), and cannot stand the whole “writing in my Bible” thing. So......

I’m curious about why the Bible’s get updated?
Just because the natural use and understanding of the English language shift over time.
A simple example would be the word "gay." If you were to say "he's an extremely gay man" in 1919 vs 2019 the hearers would perceive it to mean completely different things.
Shame it’s a lousy translation
