I started shooting photos back when 1 megapixal cameras was blowing us away , wow a camera where you can delete pictures and not burn film ! Well it was a few years later Canon made the 20D, I made wedding, portraits, and beauty pageant photos that paid well and won awards. Well now a few years and grandchildren later I picked up my 20D and said “it’s time for an upgrade old friend”. I choose the 77D after several months of searching , and I’m very glad I did. At my age now , we want the DSLR but we want light, not an iPhone , but more control. Great video, thanks for posting . And yes, I now use the light cheaper lens for most of my home videos. We all do not wish to be TH-cam famous. It just works.

I just got this camera upgraded from my t3i, mostly because of its price and autofocus. I felt like the lack of, was holding me back at least mentally... Anywho, NIce video! beautiful shots and wonderful audio. Keep it up. What is the background of your studio talking head shot there? Looks nice my room is just white lol

wait a second this camera doesn't have an input jack .-. doesn't the t7i have that jack, which should be a bracket down the so called semi-professional 77D :1
They are both pretty great. They both have phase detect auto focus, flip out (or up) screens, and ultimately are great performers from everything I’ve seen. The a6400 records in 4K while the 77d does not. In my opinion, the 77d has better color in video

Piggy Piano The 77D still has a bad build quality(like many Canon cameras and lenses), crap viewfinder(even smaller than the viewfinder of your 200d), software restrictions, small battery, no grip available ... (And it is also Made in Taiwan and not in Japan anymore) Actually there is no reason to buy a Canon camera... Just look at their new 250D or RP... Pentax, Sony, Olympus and perhaps Nikon are better in my opinion Oh and their customer service in Germany is not worth mentioning

The 77D - it has the DualPixel-Autofocus for Video, which you don't find in a Nikon.
