I loved how you posed the three recreating the duel from the movie.

18:15 "He is the Chosen One.... he must be trained." Everyone is raising the prices on figures. Bandai, now Hasbro is following suit with $24.99 becoming a frequent and unwelcome price tag on their store exclusives. I skipped Anakin, Padme, and Qui gon simply because I cant afford them. Cant wait for my Figuarts Rey to get here. I have the Hasbro Rey but she has weak ankle joints and I have to use her Staff to keep her upright. Did you order a Rey Victoria?

For the Figuarts The Last Jedi, I pre-ordered Rey and Kylo Ren.

Nice review. IMO a fantastic looking Qui-Gon. Need to add to the collection for the PM famous fight scene, but having a hard time finding a US Seller. PM movie was marginal at best but Qui-Gon & Darth Maul were great characters that are still fun to collect. The SHFA Maul is one of the best I've seen from them.

Thanks. You'd be best serve getting one from Japan if you can find one at a decent price. They were never sold in the US. I'd stay away from China because of knockoffs.

Thanks, I've never purchased outside the USA until recently ordering a couple New Hope figures from HLJ (with June sch. in-stock date), so will see how that goes. Prior to doing so, researched all the import related guidance from US Customs & Border Patrol site which makes you wonder if it's worth the risk (of possible import fees and/or not receiving) but obtained some feedback from a couple others that regularly order from them & have never had any issues and/or import fees apply. The secondary market prices on Qui-Gon appear to be too expensive for me (apparently due to it being an Exclusive & more limited availability as also noticed comparable prices apply for the Padme Exclusive). Looks like I'll prolly need to go to the Black Series for a Qui-Gon which isn't close to SHFA quality but a better value @ current market prices. Take it easy & look forward to your review of future SW figures.

Definitely agree with the alternate face! That moment in TPM when Padme reveals she's the queen and that smirk he has like 'freakin' knew it'...*that would have been a could alternate expression ^^
Also, whilst it looks like Hasbro got the head-shape and the hair right, this one has the face right (head looks too rounded to me)

Adam Mitulinski Combine the best elements of both and you'd have the best Qui-Gon ever. Which it still is in this scale... but it could still be better.

SHF figure looks very nice and in keeping with their other releases. Hasbro's Qui Gon looks more like a generic 'wizard warrior' from some defunct eighties toy line, with only a passing resemblance to Liam Neeson. I agree, the Hasbro hair sculpt does have a better flow. SHF sometimes over-engineers their figures. Very nice review!

Lao Che Pros and cons. An old wizard warrior is a good way to describe the Black Series figure. The 3.75-inch Qui-Gon they did in the 2012 Battle Packs set looks much better.

Victoria's Cantina Agreed. Many of their older 3.75 figs have better likenesses than the 6 line. The talent is there. Still waiting for Hasbro to release hammerhead, walrus man and snaggletooth in the 6 line. otherwise I steer clear. to each their own!!

Not a bad figure too bad the plastic they used for the hair ain't just a tad softer so it flows down just a tad ...nice work

M.G.Villan I wonder what real rooted hair would look like on this figure.

Victoria's Cantina that would be a good idea

Awesome figure. Will you still buy that Red Box Vader?

The Random Channel No. It's the same figure as the 40th release, which I already bought three times over.

I wonder if you can do the trick of heating up and cooling to re-shape the back of the hair?

Probably would help to some extent. I'm not going to do it since I have it on the shelf and only see the front of it.

13:12 Wrong VICTORA! Its the Scene where that kindly boy Anakin invited the Group to his home to get out of the Sandstorm and that glutton Qui gon was eating all the food that poor slave Family had to spare. Quigon should be ashamed of himself, stuffing his pie hole... shame on you Qui Gon Jin. Shame!
