I bet a Mafex Chewy would be the ideal size. Just gotta feeling. What about my Hasbro I dont like is that #1 He CANT SIT DOWN (copilots usually do) #2 Paint. Still not going through the effort and cost to get the figuarts shorty. Nice review as always.
I'd have to agree with that. MAFEX tend to be in scale with Hasbro, so if they did their own Chewbacca he'd likely be a little shorter than the Hasbro.
Victoria's Cantina I always feel the Hasbro Black Series figure is a bit too tall.
I just bought the BS one, it looks good but this one is amazing! Too bad this figures are really expenssive in my country -_-

They're pretty expensive anywhere other than Japan. Unless they get released in the US or get overproduced. Sometimes they get pretty low on Amazon and Ebay straight from Japan, but that seems to be happening less and less. I like to import them directly from Japan, but this one seems to have been sold out for a bit. At least at the usual sites I frequent.
Victoria's Cantina I've found if you preorder from one of the Japanese sites the price is pretty low compared to when it's released. I've learned the price increases after it's released. And always check those sites for sales cause I actually saw this on a Japanese site for I think 30 bucks, but it was a one day sale
Nice review, the only Chewbacca I know of that is seamless is the Hot Toys but those are expensive. I like everything about this Chewbacca could be a little taller but that doesn't bother me. Are you going to try to get the Hot Toys Hoth Leia? Now I just saw pictures of a Endor Leia had no interest in even thinking about getting that if made. But now I'm starting to think about it
I'm not a fan of any of the Hot Toys Chewbacca figures they've done so far. They all look weird to me. I do have Hoth Leia on preorder, though. I may preorder Endor Leia too when she becomes available. Ever since I got the ANH one I feel like I need them all!
Victoria's Cantina Yes I'm with you, I really like the ANH Leia. it doesn't have the accessories like the others but I think it's the best looking one

the articulation looks like you could do alot of film acurate poses . Btw I'm with you on the princess Leia figure she would be great.
Yes, he's a blast to pose! Really pulling for Princess Leia. I'm sure they could do an awesome version of her. And we know they made a Rey Resistance figure. Just not sure when she's coming.

Not bad, but I think they nailed it with the original Black Series release in the blue stripe packaging (the Force Awakens Black Series version though wasn't so good!)
That's the one that I showed in the comparison segment. I certainly can't agree that it's a better figure than this one. I enjoy it, but it doesn't come close.
