When Abdul Kalam spoke in the European Union to be praised by them, it was a moment all of realized that India is not just for the rich and that the common man can achieve great heights. I felt a little outraged that he was forgotten and some celebrity was given higher credit.

I love the score in the dark knight. But slumdog millionaire was a knockout with that latikas theme
being a fan of both Hans and ARR, i felt the dark knight deserved at least one of the awards in the best music category, and better if it won the best music award. The music in the dark knight was a phenomenal experience of a lifetime, a never before and never after kinda score.

When A R Rehman won Oscar, he's an Indian worked in British film. And media was not flamboyant as it is now. The same issue made the brilliant singer Karunya lost his chance in winning Indian Idol. But, in case of Keeravani, he is an Indian and it's an Indian film as well.
