Great radio I have been using for about 7 months I us it for nitro I have 6 models I use the FGR4S receiver the small one. And I have no problem with distance or anything amazing. It's also great for high voltage servos because the reciver is rated for 8.4 volts. Also has built in fail safe, telemetry, and idle up feature where when the engine is cold you don't have to keep your finger on the trigger just set throttle to 10% and push I button and it keeps it set. Kind like a choke.

That is a crazy good price for what looks like a pretty nice radio. I use a Futaba 4PV and it is a great radio but for crawling it is kind of bulky, this one looks compact and the color screen looks very nice.

Nice radio's Kev! Nothing wrong with cheap gear it can be beaten up and get em muddy. As long as they work... I AM one of those left-handers. One battery pack through my new x-maxx and i changed out the receiver for futaba so i can use my own gear. This flysky you are showing has all the bells and whistles though!

That's insanely cheap for a race grade radio. If you're just a basher, you don't need it.
@@RenBobbins meh debatable if your like me and constantly changeing and like playing with settings maybe I have a spektrum dx5 Pro not as fancy as this but has more than enough settings and fits my big hands lol

Yeah, that radio is pretty sweet you can remove the battery and it will still power on. It has two batteries one in the grip and the bottom flat one. And you can charge your cellphone with that radio. Plug in your cellphone charger cable in the full size USB and you have 4000ma of portable phone charger
I got one when they came out on bangood.
have been running flysky for my cars/planes/quads they do several and tbh they are all good even the budget ones!

I agree on those jx servos picked one up a 32kg rated one for my 1/8 monster truck steering and its a huge difference so fast and so far verry reliable and cheap I might change all my servos to them as for the last few months been loving it
Just got my noble yesterday. Whooohooo. Compared to my spektrum dx5rugged, feels Awsome in the hand. Solid piece of kit. Can't wait to get her all set up
The battery is also a powerbank, and you can take it off and use the radio without it because it also has a 1300 mah build in battary.
I opened it one time, I found a 2600Mah cell 😉👍
Since latest software update it's up to 8 channels now (selectable)! Awesome transmitter. Too bad it doesn't bind with older FlySky receivers tho.
Hello from México kev, the crawler steering mode is for chance the steering like the hbx devastator, once you choose it, if press one button, you change of front steering to rear, both, or crab mode

All these videos do do anything for the sheer size of the car. Its amazing. My next purchase will be a slash unlimited or a UDR. I can't make up my mind. Love the vids. I'm also working on my own channel. If you have any advice that would be great. Take it easy bro.
Nice looking radio. Flysky has really picked up their game. I use their Nirvana for my racing drones and I might check this Noble out since it reminds me of the Nirvana.

Kev another 1 worthy of checking out is the ABSIMA CR4T ULTIMATE, its kinda a budget version to this one but has the touch screen and all the same features, ive been using 1 for 2 years and never had a problem with it.
I like the Radiolink RC6GS it comes with gyro and a receiver and is under $75 and it will reach 600 meters.
That thing is insanely capable..., i bet this flysky in the video cost 200 bucks just got the screen alone
Great video kev I have got my self a decent controller a wile back called a Futaba T4grs. Because I race I need it so responsive by the way it was not dirt cheap lol 😂
I got mine on monday. It's awesome! I uploaded a video where I compare the lag with anothe radio using slow motion.
I ahve one of the Noble NB4 radio systems. LOVE IT. There is no doubt that it might be the best radio system for the price.

20 model memory (plenty imo.) Just reading the manual and it's fairly simple but easy to read. I bought a RadioLink and couple rx for about $100. Kinda wish I would've bought this one.
Only negative I'm seeing is the steering wheel is falling off for some users. I think it's probably a manufacturers defect and easy fix.
The aluminum build components, excellent screen and menu system, unprecedented battery management design, lower cost of rx (though not as cheap as RadioLink,) and *cool factor make this a great radio. I want one but will have to sell off a couple impulse purchases before I pick one up.
Nice review and I use JX servos in my Arrma trucks. I have six Arrma trucks total (4x6s and 2x3s) but not sold on the 4s models until maybe the next version. The 4s Outcast does appear to be much improved with that servo....all RTR are improved with servo upgrades no matter Arrma, TRX, etc. In fact, the only servos I haven't been *forced to upgrade are Arrma rigs. None of my six has ever failed to where I couldn't drive it. I have owned trucks that ruined servos (both in some cases) within a few packs.
Kev I had awesome fun with my slash at Paddlesworth and the only repair is that my diff came out of place and my thing that holds the battery in place so I'm going to make it a strap bit a body clip!! Thank you for letting us know about Paddlesworth, I'm probably going to be a regular to the events!!

I got the FlySky Noble NB4 and its great. I think that they should make a better guard for the bottom.
Quick question Kev I’m guessing this doesn’t have a built in gyro in the receiver would any RC gyro be able to connect to it or does it need to be a specific one ? I like the idea of keeping my next beast in a straight line 😅 it’s safer all around if I do lol love the videos bro can’t wait to see more

No you need the right receiver for the transmitter
No but flysky recievers are pretty cheap
Make sure that you get the FGr4 v2 receivers when you buy the radio. Those are the newest ones and most reliable.

you can use the flysky noble to play driving games on your pc, gotta switch on the emulator in usb settings.

Kevin Talbot I just got the Flysky FS-IT4S you should look in to this one to its realy nice. Not as nice as that one but iv got to say incredible options and cheaper.

It's REALLY nice for 179, jeez. I've had $400 radios that didn't have that level of fit and finish. Hold this, then hold a similarly priced Spektrum. I love their airplane systems, they're great. Lots of technology, and a SUPER reliable link, but they feel like RTR build quality unless you get the top end models. I do love my DX10i though.

Hi Kev. I been looking at this since you review, to me the reciever looks kind of big due to the side loading of the input plugs. Do you think this would fit in the small reciever box of the Arrma Range I.E the 6s Kraton/Typhon etc?

Oh the pain. The sound is the same as on my tgy-i10, which is a real turd of a radio and had a terrible screen that broke after a week and now nothing can be adjusted. Lets hope this radio does not have the same terrible quality issues. Thank you for the great review Kev.

I got this truck yesterday and took it out today. Had to tighten up the slipper clutch too. Also popped out the u joint style CV axles twice. Have you had this happen to you Kevin?

That radio does look great. I have the old GT3C and it is decent. I also have spektrum radios. Are we serious about the latency with the spektrum that came with the Outcast? I have never used that exact radio, but it should be running the standard DSM/DSMX? There should be no noticeable latency there. I am not discounting the new radio in this video (it looks fantastic actually), just being realistic about latency here. I have been flying planes, helis, quads etc with Spektrum for 10 years. I had the well documented brownouts in aircraft, but it was with the cheap "orange rx" receivers (never with a full range Spektrum branded RX). But, on a land based truck, I simply can not imagine that in 2019, on a hobby level 2.4ghz system, we are having latency. Lack of features I totally see. Cheap construction, yep it looks cheap being a RTR TX. Has someone actually measured the input latency?

What's the best controller for it? Should I run stock or bind the noble to it?
I just got an e revo 2.0 and honestly, feels pretty snappy response wise. Not exactly the highest quality hand feel though
Just bind the noble to it if you already have it. The stock Traxxas remote is alright but the noble is in another league. But you probably don't need to take care of the Traxxas remote as much as the noble.

I use a flySky now but I think it’s the bs6. I don’t want to have to change every receiver in each of my RCs. I wonder if this noble would work with the bs6 receivers already.
I actually use a flysky radio and it works just as good as the name brand stuff

Juzt swapped from nitro to electric,bought a maverick stradda mt evo but i am a bit disappointed by its lack of speed.can you suggest a fast reasonably priced motor please, the faster the better.oh yeah im running it on floureon 7.4 2s lipo 2200 mAH but can upgrade to 3s or even 4s if motor cantake it.super fast is what im after.
