    Nice! I actually still use a bunch of rtf radios so that I can go out and bash with the kids. I hook up about 5 cars to two different radios. Futaba 3PV because of the wireless receiver and the Spektrum DX5C because of all the Arrma and Losi cars. The Futaba is noticeable more responsive. That said the DX5C is way better than the rtr radios, lol. Love all your radio content 🤩

    Do transmitters need to be bound to a particular reciever or can they be bound to any reciever that meets certain specifications?
    My first RC came with an STX-2 transmitter and an SRX200 reciever. If I get another car does it need to have an SRX200 or will any 2-channel 2.4Hz reciever work?

    i use the same Futaba , can setup any car anyway i want....Spektrum was my fave until the programmable radios starting popping onboard roms and losing half the menus/functions....the Traxxas just feels cheap to me, i got one with a TRX4 crawler and it drove me up the wall so i want sell it....instead, i put in Futaba receiver and programmed a Digispark micro controller to split the 4th channel to get the locking diff functionality working properly

    Just subscribed to your channel. I kinda assume you're a buggy kinda guy. I have a question. I live in San Jose, CA and it is very challenging to find a good spot for bashing. • @crazicat
      @crazicat ปีที่แล้ว

      I fly quads in Florida but the same problem with a place to do RC. Have found that no one wants to share a good spot with anyone else, esp a newbee. Because too many people or a newbee causing damage will get that spot shut down for everyone. Best to get into a small group of fellow RC people. Check face book and local races, you don't need to race, just make a few friends. Everything is more fun with friends.

      I had a FlySky GT3b: which was a fantastic value for bashing! I didn't know what people were talking about when they mentioned the speed or 'feel' of a system, as it was all I knew. Then once I started getting into track days with a 2wd buggy I splurged for a M12. And had to adjust how I drove as I was suddenly clipping the inside of every corner :) . Sanwa makes a great radio!

      Fkysky gt3b or gt3c are pretty old and perform very bad imho. They have abysmal frame rate which results in a disconnected feeling to your car. I would only recommend them for trail trucks or crawlers only where a low frame rate is not really needed.
