Hey, great question! I was browsing their website, and it seems they don't offer replacement batteries for sale. While we're covered under warranty, what about after that? I've heard it's pretty easy these days to get batteries fixed, but it'd be ideal to purchase a new one from ENGWE.
Please tell me if the X24 model will suit me if I am 190 cm tall? Should I buy the X26 model?
The X24 is big, but I would go for the X26 .. it might fit you better :)
If it allowed you to stay in Sport mode all the time everyone would do it and that would destroy the performance stats. So they chose to mildly annoy you with the three minute limitation rather than risk terrible reviews.

@@BK42Cycles I have an x26 on order, should be here sometime next week, it will be my first e-bike, i'm looking forward to more than 1mph on my normal bike up a slight hill in gear 1 with no power assist pedaling as hard as I can! and also exploring places around town and country where I live in northeast Oklahoma off the beatin track this summer. =) gettin that exercise, but seeing more than a few miles around me.

I've got 250 miles on mine now, and I'm very satisfied with it. When your riding it, it has great power, amazing range, and you feel pretty free! I've had a lot of fun on it.
It's definitely heavy, and bulky, which is only a problem when I'm moving it to where I want to ride, or putting it in the back room of the crowded house. When your riding it, you never notice unless you try to get airborn with this bike, which I don't recommend. The bottom below the spokes sticks down pretty far and can hit sometimes, but this was never a problem while riding. Because of its size, I set the seat as low as it would go (lower than recommended) and turned the handlebar neck backwards, but it works better for me that way.
It does charge up a single battery at a time with the charger, even when the little green button is enabled. This isn't a problem for me cause I just ride it recreationally, but if its a daily ride for someone this could be a problem, about 4-6 hours per battery to charge.
Mine had a broken horn area when it arrived, Just some plastic, if you press hard enough it'll beep. I also somehow punctured the front tire so it'll go flat between ridings, but stays inflated during the ride.
The light on the front is good and its nice along side a road that it has bright break lights.
Overall If I changed, I would like a step through that's a lot lighter and smaller, but has the same range and suspension and power... I don't think that matchup exists yet... But for now, I love the Range, Power, suspension, and it's very fun to ride and explore with, it turns a lot of heads, and people come up and ask about it.
8/10 (my first e-bike) I have to really plan out each trip, schedule the time, air up the front tire, haul it outside or to my truck, check the weather... would be nice to just get on it and go! But that's not the bikes fault. I love my Engwe x26!

Is it possible to somehow solve the problem with footrests for the rear passenger? For example, screw extensions onto the rear wheel axle, as is done in BMX bicycles?

Engwe doesn't sell a replacement seat post battery so when it dies in about 1 to 3 years your out of luck
Check on Google there are plenty replacement batteries for engwe x24.

yes it is adjustable, it should be fine to 183 cm rider, however you may also consider the X26,, cheers

I have an X26. It is a great bike but unfortunately it is to tall for me. I wish I had the X24 or X20 instead.
Such a bummer :( I discovered that the 24" size is just right for me - not too tall, not too short. Absolutely ideal! 😊

The video was pretty much accurate. My only comment is that I think the "X" series is to little to late from Engwe. When they first came out with the X26 the point was to try and get 30aH of battery capacity. Now a lot of other companies can do that in a single budget battery. Also since the bike is so heavy it is clumsy to fold or put in a car.
