    Thank you, Chef! Your video is excellent; I’ve always loved plantains but never tried to cook them. I love the versatility sweet vs. savory, and am looking forward to trying your recipe. Cheers from Virginia USA!

    I didn't know East Africans eat plantain. You need to take it up another level the West African way with eggs or stew. Thanks for the tip not to add spices until after cooking, I used to add spices. PS. When I saw the bottle of oil I thought it was fabric conditioner - what we have in the UK.

    Thanks chef,I love the plantain recipe..however when buying do you ask for plantain? I once tried with normal bananas thinking it was the same.I have a problem differentiating the two🤔

    • @ChefRaphael
      @ChefRaphael  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes it has to be plantains just as we have green bananas for matoke. Normal bananas won’t substitute for plantain

    • @ChefRaphael

      It has to be plantains…normal bananas will not give same results and basically not meant to be cooked

    I think you have a very inspirational food Channel, but your camera skills and lighting are still very poor. This should be your main focus when upgrading yourself.
