Both of my grandparents just passed away from Dementia and it's terrifying. A slow, agonizing death where you don't even know who you are anymore...like a Horror film.
Your last two films have really knocked it out the park. The subtlety is what does it. These are your best yet with no jump scares, no fakeouts, no swelling music giving the moment away.
@@joice2871 Jump scares don't really create horror. They just startle you. I don't mind a couple in a film, but too many horror films today rely on them to an insane degree. If your "horror movie" has jump scares every five minutes, then just call it an "anxiety movie."
everyone commenting that they are fixated on the beeping…THAT WAS THE POINT! Its supposed to be a carbon monoxide alarm. it’s a story about carbon monoxide poisoning and how it affects someone’s behaviors/perception
Tbh it's scarier that way. Messes with your instincts. You would stay away from an intimidating noise like growling or roaring, but "mhm"? It's familiar, lulls you into a false sense of security. I wouldn't think anything of it at first.
My Mum had Alzheimer's. I remember one night it was about 2:30 am, I was heading to bed and my Mum told me to stand still and with full description a little girl (about 4 years of age) in a pink dress, white shoes and a bow on her head, she said she was standing beside on my left and looking up at me and smiling. That scared the fuck out of me. I looked to my left and Mum began to laugh and clap....she said now she's on your right, play with her. I've never cared for my electric bill since that incident 🥹🥲 nor did I care for dark circles 🦡
wow... my great grandmother had Alzheimers too... I had the chance to spend a lot of vacations with her, she had her children very young and my grandma also so she was still young when i was born (in 1999) ans was like another grandma to my sister and i... she was so beautiful, funny and healthy until Alzheimer came... One night, i was sleeping at my grandma's house (i was like 15 yo) and in the middle of the night i have been awaked by Mamie (her nickname).... She was standing naked in front of my bed, and stayed in silence for a minute... then she told me she didn't know where she was and i came to her room with her and put her nightgown on her and tell her everything was fine... but i was shoked... because i have knew her as an incredible woman... Her name was Louise and she died at 97... I hope i won't have to live that situation again with my grandma but you know... It is commun in my family so... lots of love and luck
So something you can't see smiling at you scares you? You're going to be in for a huge surprise in the spirit realm. I wonder if there are spirit guide/therapists for your type who pass on and can't grasp the fact there is something beyond this feeble mortal plane. There are thousands of things we can't see smiling and laughing at us daily.
