I recommend Behind The Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon which manages to be both a hilarious pastiche of slasher movie tropes and a pretty good slasher movie all at once, it has a lot of scenes on the real-life difficulties slasher killers would face that are glossed over by the movies.

The end is fabulous!!! A poor old killer finally understood that he coudn't kill the damn girl with an axe so he bring some good and effective tool. Respect!
So first off he found a small hatchet lying around somewhere then when his poor cardio didn't help he buried it and went and found a chainsaw just lying around. Now she takes off and well he didn't catch her before even after she stops several times, just how is he going to catch her now while carrying a 10 - 15 pounds chainsaw. He is going to give himself a heart attack since his cardio conditioning is just plain horrible.

This reminds me of the banned Nike "Why Do Sports?" ad -- the one where the girl was chased from the house by a Michael/Jason clone [with a saw, if memory serves]. Dressed in kicks, shorts, and sports bra, she runs screaming into the darkness, easily out-distancing the wannabe killer, who ends up gasping and wheezing under a tree as we continue to hear her screams way-the-hell-off in the distance... Freaking hilarious.

@@chandeyfabian8670I run 30 mins 6mph no headphones. Most people need to make better eating habits and they don’t have to run for eons working off food they ate. But that’s freedom. It comes at a cost sometimes

This short encapsulates modern society, people lost in their own little world oblivious to the world around them. Only to notice a glitch in their matrix, & instead of running away they run towards their demise like a moth to the flame. Perfect & outstanding...

Fields can be quite anxiety-inducing. Being able to see everything coming at you and *knowing* it’s coming and being alone in that area and running being all you can do.
Dang, this was really funny - and super suspenseful at the end, as well! Amazing that you could pack this much humour and horror into less than three minutes. Very entertaining, great job!!
The origin scenario was verily enthralling. I liked the concept of the lady running in a slow speed contemporary while a serial killer is chasing her posteriorly with an axe also in a slow speed while the camera would immerse zooming in and out. I like how it's delineated the victim invariably clueless. I as well find it fascinating how ''The Texas Chainsaw Massacre'' character plays a role in too. Excellent job I must say!👍🏻👍🏻Horror is an inquisitive genre within it's diabolical & vice nature to capture one's curiosity & fear. An engrossing exposure that leads terrifying deeds that are being absorbed mentally & physically.

She was already warmed up from the beginning, that gave her an advantage right there, he could gotten severe cramps without proper stretching and warming up before starting the chase.

This could have easily been the opening scene for a comedy/horror film.

Advancements in technology - the ax is slower than the electric saw. The poor woman learned that in the fastest, shortest - and most painful way. Thanks for the horror-comedy, good dish and good development, congratulations on all of you !

Well the whole irony is that we humans have a built-in 6th sense when we feel someone or something is watching us. In real life my instinct would've told me to keep on running if I sensed something awry like when she found that axe on the path, I would have high tailed it out of there. But in her case, her curiosity did her in. I keep hoping that somehow she managed to evade that chainsaw attack One more thing I wish to add is, where in the heck did that escaped criminal find an axe and a chainsaw so conveniently? I guess we'll never know. Great short though. Nice work.

The jogger switching over the radio channel in a classic horror-typical Too Dumb to Live move was the first laugh, and it only got funnier with the following gag! :'D Despite the main gag of the film leaning mostly into comedy, there was still a sense of horror-appropriate anxiety in me whenever the killer got really close. And the ending where the music stops, the camera is tight on the jogger, you're aware of how wild and devoid of civilisation for help her surroundings are, and you hear the revving is suspenseful... until you see WHAT the revving is coming from, and then the short flips right back into pure comedy! :'D :'D

That was fun as hell , he was not going to give up & now let's see just how fast she can run ,not jog but RUN !!!! I love the fact this guy was prepared for the deed. Watching him try & catch her to the point he almost gave up was just plain funny even if being a nutbag killer is not . Good job on this one & how nice it is to his chainsaw fired up on the first pull , wish mine would & sorry but it's for trees not pretty gals .
