@@shady8045 protect is great against it, especially if they're eager to explode early. Not relying on a defensive core that falls apart after one mon goes down unexpectedly is good practice in general and helps against cb meta. Obviously Gengar also works if your confident in your prediction skills, but it's risky since meteor mash wrecks you.

Question about shadow ball: Doesn't it have merit over HP bug since it absolutely destroys Gengar trying to be cheeky, hits harder on starmie and claydol and still is a hard hit on celebi? I can see why HP bug is preferred, but shadow ball seems to have it's merits
I'd personally probably run HP Grass for Swampert. Yes, I know it's a physical attacker, but Pert is difficult to pass by if you don't Boom without HP Grass
Anyone mind explaining what the “CB Gross-Mag” rule is/why it’s a thing (mentioned @20:38)? Why wouldn’t you want both a CB Gross and a Magneton? Is it just to limit overall fire/ground weakness? I know the meta game is pretty fleshed out but to say that it’s a *rule* seems odd, unless it’s literally banned.

i can build in gen 7 and 8 very effectively i dont use other teams besides mine have a nice chunky teambuilder. Cant build for dpp at all i listened to oneof your vids other daythe regiice one were you tried to make it work and you said if you cant beat TSS. Its not really meta. So i built my own TSS team and im finaly getting somewere would love ot share it with ya get ya advice see what i can change.

meta doesn't really need cb for anything other than skarm and appreciates not being locked in to moves if it can help it
