I think she's been working in the entertainment industry in the U.S. long enough for people to just get past these redundant questions. Also, the interviewer in the beginning did not let her finish her explanation about her name, kind of just cut her off. Maggie Q took it well. She was professional and smooth in the interview. I think she's a great actress. Watched the first episode and I'm hooked!

In the first episode... didnt the fire guy pour petrol on himself. If so the nxt bit was jack shot him. Shud the flames not off ? But this program is on the 5th episode now where i cum from i hav to say. My favourite show ever !!! And i hate scary thing but this is 2 good 2 hate
Wow - bummer! I guess I am going to have to tell my blond haired, blue eyed daughter - whom we raised to respect all people - that it is okay to be called racist by someone of ethnic ambiguity. What is Maggie Q thinking. I know many people are glossing over this statement, but what it says to me is white people are expected to raise their kids to be respectful of all people, that racism has no place in our society, yet those of ethnic minorities and ethnic ambiguities can freely and openly call any white person racist just because...where is the outrage...why does she still have a job? I mean, this statement is not really that bad...on the whole, but in lieu of all the white people who get taken to task because they utter racist comments why is this not as offensive? Just wondering out loud. I would love to hear others input. BTW - the show sounds great, touches on a very important aspect of life - but WHY MAGGIE, WHY?

She wasn't being racist at all. She was just citing an encounter with people who happen to be white and blonde. And yes, that would be racist of them to just assume and ignore her because they thought she was Mexican, which she's not and even if she were, that would still be racist.
