- we are taking a look at the carbon Zion from bowtech! this is a great mid priced bow for someone who is looking for a light bow but doesn't want to break the bank! stick around and mfjj will let you know what he thinks about the bow.
Some people have complained that bowtech have brought out what is effectively the same bow for near a decade now. But they really hit the nail on the head when they brought out the Carbon Knight, and the iterations that followed were all good bows.
My first bow was a 70lb Carbon Knight and i really couldn't fault it
Just got my Mathews v3. Shot them mall. Quiet, best out there. And I love it. That particular bow is not quiet.
Excellent review there James. I have been looking at the Diamond 💎 sister to this bow that they sell at Cabelas for years. Both in the Carbon Cure and now the Deploy.

Your doing a speed test with a whisker biscuit and a peep sight in the bow it's not goona get ibo speed I'd like to see it with a drop away and no peep on the strings

My carbon deploy is 3.4 lb,from that to the v3x is a hell of a weight jump

You have a whisker biscuit on. Surely that is slowing fps

Y do people act like whisker biscuit slows u down significantly?????? If you don’t know now you do! It only reduces by about 2-3 fps ! That’s insignificant af imo

Could you explain how to change from comfort mode to Performance mode?
That's really a let down on the speed. I'm thinking about buying a new bow this year but it seems like I would either have to pay more for a bow than my hunting vehicle cost, or get one that under performs. I 'll keep watching your reviews but it's looking like the winner will be my 11 year old PSE Vendetta lol!
