🚨🚨Update on this bow! 🚨🚨 I just knocked down my first buck with my carbon Zion. I just want to warn you all about using the tight spot quiver on this bow and the noise that the combination can make as pointed out in this video. The buck I shot nearly ducked the arrow entirely at 30 yards and I believe the noise caused it. Learn from my mistake and TAKE YOUR QUIVER OFF before shooting from the stand! th-cam.com/video/uevxkeHjBqE/w-d-xo.html
I have this bow, it is called DEPLOY SB from Diamond Archery. I bought it from Bass Pro Shop. I’ve had it for about a year now. Super fun, very lightweight, does the business. My bow cranked all the way tight is 66.5 pounds. I’m 54 years old and I can shoot this bow all day long. The furthest I have ever shot it is 80 yards. I’m using a Trophy Ridge Hotwire site. Hamskea peep site and Epsilon drop-away rest. Trophy Ridge Quiver and a 12” Amazon carbon stabilizer. Limbsaver dampers on the limbs. Not that much money in this rig but I love how good it shoots. I’ll install GAS strings and cables at the one year mark. Scott Recon release. I guess it’s time for an upgrade but I’m still totally satisfied with this. Thank you Bowtech and Diamond Archery. 😎
I have the carbon icon and the noise was the QAD slapping the shelf when arrow released. A small piece of mole skin solved the problem. The sight that came with the package made no noise just wanted the trophy ridge 5 pin react.
I have the same bow and love it. For the past 10 years I have been using the Bowtech Assassin and was disappointed when Bowtech discontinued it. I got my bow back in April and done my review on it I believe in May. I love the Zion!! I did remove the multi pin site and replaced it with the Spot Hogg Fast Eddie and really love how it shoots now!! Haven’t had a robinhood yet, but came awfully close. I did notice you bow sounded loud. I don’t think mine has sounded that loud, I will have to go back and watch my videos to see. Thanks for sharing your review. Juddie - J & J TOA
@@Recruitcreative no, I have the BowTech Octane quiver on my Zion. My son has the Tightspot quiver on his BowTech Solution. Check and see if you need to adjust the locking lever. I believe the TIghtspot is like the Octane and there should be a bolt that adjusts the tension on the lever that locks it on the picatinny type rail mount. Juddie - J & J TOA
Sounds to me like your arrows wasn't pushed all the way up in the quiver and it was rattling when you shoot I know BowTech makes awesome quite bows though is probably something simple
I’d say taking that quiver off will help allot with the noise you are hearing. I have the same bow just the Diamond version and it seems much more quiet without the quiver. The Diamond has different cams I love it though.
@@reddawng43x91 the Diamond Archery version of this bow is called the DEPLOY SB. You can find in big box stores and on-line, Amazon, Sportsman’s Warehouse or Gander Mountain. Yes, it doesn’t have the Bowtech cams or Bowtech dampeners but it’s the same otherwise. It’s available with different power limbs.
The noise is probably from the problem I was having also. My quiver would come loose when I first start shooting but tighten down and no more problem. Also after I noticed the arrows would come loose on the outsides. Snug them down to the bottom clasp( or whatever you call it ) and the looseness is gone. I actually shot my first deer this year with my Carbon Zion DLX in Kryptek 27” 70# draw.
Sounds good man, thanks for the input. I also just shot my first buck with my Zion DLX and this noisy quiver about cost me big time. I should’ve taken the quiver off but it slipped my mind and the deer ended up ducking an abnormal amount. We just shared it to our channel
That bow is noisy! To Noisy! Do you take the quiver off when you are in the tree stand? That might be what is making all that noise. I tried to listen when you were shooting it without the quiver on but everyone of your shots without the quiver were either in slow-mo or sound muted.
Yeah I used to take it off with my bowtech allegiance because of the weight. It could be the quiver making a lot of the noise, I haven’t shot it much without it so I haven’t patterned that but I’ll definitely have to test that out. I’ll let you know the results!
@@Recruitcreative I am a PSE guy myself and my bow is a 2009 X-FORCE. Super quiet! I never shoot it with the quiver on when up in the stand. They rattle and vibrate too much. From your video it does sound like your quiver making the noise.
James Moody just got done shooting the bow some more and a lot of the noise is in fact coming from the quiver. Thanks for the suggestion sir, you were correct!
I would check out your local archery shop or a bass pro/cabela’s if you have one near you. In Illinois you don’t need any kind of permit to shoot a bow. Just an archery tag during archery season

Appreciate you taking the time to give us this info. Thanks!
No problem! Thanks for watching!
I just bought the same bow, I learned the same thing with my grip. This bow has no issues at 60yds

Something wrong or loose..there is a rattle after your shot..

Do you have the tight spot quiver? I’m thinking mine is making contact with the bow and making the noise

Great review! I am loving mine!
Thank you very much! Did you buy it used or new?

I did end up harvesting a doe with the quiver off and it did help tremendously. They are good bows!
Wts the diamond version of this?

I have the carbon zion and it is silent. It sounds like something is very loose on your bow.
Thanks for your comment!
It’s coming from the quiver. I tightened up an adjustment and it sounds great!
What's that buzz after the shot? Is it the arrows in the quiver or the bow itself?
Thinking it’s the arrows in the quiver rattling around

Looks like the deploy sb with different cams but deploy only goes to 70 without the great accessories on it
Think I just found my new bow
I really like it so far!
It's essentially a slightly upgraded depy sb package with a better string dampening system.
Your shooting is major component in accurate shooting
Yeah makes sense! lol
Somethings rattling loose on the bow
Do yall know if i need a permit or some kind of documentation to use this bow? Like where can I shoot or when?😁

Your arrows rattling in the quiver my guy
Very nice bow
I love it!
I was going to get this bow , then shot the solution ss , SS it is
What did you like more about the solution SS?
@@Recruitcreative smoother , ease of cam adjustment and almost as light
chris sisson how much of a price jump is it?
@@Recruitcreative Like 500 bucks lol
You are squeezing the grip and it makes lot of sideways torque to your shot.
Yes! figured that out shortly after buying the bow! The light weight frame exposed that mistake quickly
@@Recruitcreative 👍
Your shooting form is a major component in yout accuracy. Do what you need to.
Can you elaborate on that?
Yea let go of the grip! Ur not supposed to grab the handle ! Open ur hand! I promise the bow won’t fly away when u release
THIS IS THROUGH THE SHELF, THE ARROW RACK
I THINK SO..
Other bowtechs don't sound like that
It was the quiver moving.
Bowtech Allegiance? You're not even old enough to have one of those, lol.
#1 open your damn hand so you don’t torque left!
#2 cut 2” off your arrows , they are way too long and slowing you down !
