I'm a bit more inclined towards a running assaination, but stop moving during the takedown. If you didn't know, stopping during the running assassination will make connor/edward/shay etc slowly lay the person down and take the blade out with a flourish, it's really more what i expect as assassin-y and personal

This mission shows an impressive Shay's durability feat, not even poison could make him stop. Talking about durability feats, Shay even passed out in arctic water and didn't drown
It's kinda a dura feat but it's also mostly endurance and Stamina considering he can endure poison and poison negates durability and also chase someone while poisoned without stopping he even can endure her poison gas
To be fair, the poison only takes effect if he stops. He's only handicapped if he stops
@northamerica5142 which he was doing and he endured the poison but the reason it probably wouldn't effect him entierely is cause he has a lot of endurance

@jonothanbryant9116 the assassin killer outfit gives you a gas mask on 24/7 but lorewise she stole his gas mask and he doesn't have one really to protect him from the poison gas

@@CYB3R2Kbecause he was an assassin? The story was more innovative than majority of ac games, just for the simple fact that you aren't hunting down templars. People forget that black flag is also the same as ac3's gameplay lol. But that doesn't take away from the story.

I did that a lot of my repeat play throughs and still do it on 3 and the Ezio trilogy to those Templar messages who run lol. I remember playing 3 and going back to the old Ezio games I had shot a civilian by accident for being in the way and forgetting it aims at people too not just enemies ☠️🤣.
The only death that really hurts, Hope has always seen the potential in Shay, it's sad that an apprentice has to finish his master

It's unfortunate Mirage didn't even come close to beating this (imo.) The high tension music, the obstacles(getting attacked in the middle of the chase and the necessity of motion, otherwise game over) and the entire thought process of your anticipated route.
So many details that immerse you into the mission, stealing every ounce of concentration available to you. I really miss the old Assassins creed games.
Mirage still was a step in the right direction compared to Assassin's Creed Valhalla or Odyssey. I can understand where you're coming from. But, let's appreciate what we have, so they may be encouraged to continue on providing what we are cherishing.
@EinsteinIbraheem I mean, in terms of lore, okay. I can also see what they tried to do there but, man. Literally, everything else was a huge step backwards from the AC classics. I still have hope that they will learn, remember the basic elements that made them big and retake the market.

Well I mean, that's just basic geometry.
Having to start from point A, go vertically up, then horizontally to above point B before descending back to ground level would obviously be longer than just running there on the ground. The only complicating factor is how many buildings there would be in the way, but in the games set in America the streets are relatively wide and buildings short, unlike the dense and haphazard scattering of structures of varying height you see in Ezio and Altair's games.

There is a rampant glitch in this mission where she will just continue running on land instead of parkouring and because of that you literally can't catch up to her. If that hlitch happens then i would argue this is the hardest mission in the game

I funking chased her throughout the city because of that glitch 😂, there's a work around though, just get to higher ground eg building, house etc & when close , perform an air assassination
Had that happen to me too, but managed to cut her off once she reached the port at the south, and had no other choice but to start go back towards the north, by passing through a street that I could get to by simply going left instead of all the way down and then left like she did.

Actually the legendary ship battles were hard asf
Only the Storm Fortress. The other 3, so long you got your ship 100% upgraded, aren't that hard. One is just a strong Man of War backed up by a fleet, one is two of them trying to sandwich you and with the gimmick that when one dies the other powers up (so all you gotta do is get them both at low health, so that you can kill the other one quickly before the power up gets to you), and another one just uses the the same gimmick of that mission with the exploding suicide gunboats (so as long as you keep watch of your surroundings and keep dispatching them while dealing with the legendary ship, it's no biggie).
And even then, there is an exploit to dealing with the Storm Fortress. Just keep getting in front of it, stay in front for as long as possible, and keep dumping fire barrels on its path. If you do it right, its health gets melted pretty quick.

yeah it's a very frustrating mission but there is actually a really easy way to beat it, just use your tools I killed her with a gun before even she escaped which instantly ends the mission

This is not even that hard, the Epic Legendary Ships are way harder than this. And I mean WAYYY harder than this, like the type of mission to make you rage quit a game just by how hard it is
