I love a Jeffrey and Barb video as much as the next person - BUT love when Jeffrey and Misty are able to collab!!! And as a watcher of Grease 2 too many times to count... Misty got her songs & storylines combined (it happens!) "Reproduction" was the song in school during class- you can imagine which one.. and lead by 50-60s heart-throb Tab Hunter.. anytime I hear someone say items are reproductions, that song immediately plays in head! Thanks for bringing us along!

That Sunburst aluminum refrigerator box brought back memories of my 1960’s childhood. My mom had a set of 4 in 4 different colors. I absolutely LOVED drinking out of hammered aluminum glasses as a kid.

Celery is one of my faves, especially filled with cream cheese.
Oh yeah! Sometimes my mom would fill it with cream cheese. But if she put pimento cream cheese in the celery, I wouldn’t eat it. Lol
Debi cream cheese and green olives 🫒 sliced up in it is delicious too 🤤 I also like celery filled with peanut butter.

I love love love the old childs tea sets that looked just like the adult versions only small. I collect miniatures for 45 years and I dont have a glass one yet! Someday I will. I just admire the ones yall find for now. Happy hunting Jeffrey and say "hi" to Misty for me. Oh I loved the baby cracked egg I got from you. Adorable.

CELERY was a thing. When I grew up we put celery sticks on a plate-tray with dip. Either cream cheese,tuna or any other choice dipping. Great in bloody Mary’s too. Celery thins the blood therefore preventing blood clots. Clots and strokes ran in my family so everyone at celery. It’s very good for you in smoothies too. 👍🏻
That Koi fairy lamp was everything! Great find. I wouldn't sell it either.

I have thrown away so many of those maps! Can’t believe they are actually worth something. We used to take a pen and mark the road as we went across the states on vacation. We used to eat stuffed celery with Kraft pimiento cheese all the time in the 70’s. 😉

I've lately gotten into those little ruby-stained glass mugs that have dates on them. I found one recently with the full name of a friend's ancestor!! Sadly, the ancestor died at age 3 and the cup seemed to be a remembrance cup. I read they used them for that, too. I'm giving it to my friend as she and her family were very excited to learn about it.

I recently found lucite candles at godwill for 99 cents each. It's my favorite find recently! Love the red!
With the chipped planter, a gardener with a green thumb, needs to buy it and plant the perfect bushy shrub inside to hide the imperfection. I’m sure someone like that will come along and make something lovely out of it.
Celery eats. I was born in 1954. We used to have celery sticks stuffed with cheese (it was likely cheez whiz but, it was more like cheese than the stuff you get today) or peanut butter. We never had a celery dish. In fact, until I started watching you and the CLL, I didn’t even know about them.
My mom served the celery at fancy/special holiday meals. She had 2 divided dishes one was for two items and the other was for 3. The 2 item was hobnail (think that’s the term) and white. The other was clear glass. She’d put black olives and celery in the divided dish. For the 3 sections she’d add green olives stuffed with pimentos.
Sometimes, she’d give the celery to us as a snack.
Speaking of snacks, they were not a big of a feature in our lives then. We’d get ONE snack in the afternoon. That was it. Nothing between breakfast and lunch. If it was hot, she might give us Koolaid. All the parents learned early on to NEVER put all of that sugar as directed on the pack. I remember lemonade and whatever the red flavor was.
We usually drank out of the aluminum glasses. This was a treat. Usually we just turned on the hose and got a drink whenever we were thirsty. Oh and the unsweetened Koolaid packets were usually on sale 10/$1.00.
We were outside from the moment we could be until we were hungry then after lunch until dinner time.
I can remember being crazy hungry before dinner and begging for a snack.
We also are all of our dinner unlike my grandsons today. But they get at least 3 snacks a day.
Celery was eaten at the end of the meal. It was thought that the hard crunchiness would help remove food debris. The same was thought of apples and pears.

I just collect, but I have a rule about damaged pieces. Hard no, unless its 100+ yrs old, then maybe. There are exceptions, but rarely. Good call on those damaged pieces.

Regarding all the celery dishes, I think a lot of people served celery stuffed with orange cheese-food spread or with cream cheese using the celery sticks like little vessels back in the 50s, hence the many celery dishes -- maybe, anyway :)

Sascha Brastoff - I have a few of his pieces. Matthew Adams worked for Sascha on his Alaska collection but then later went independent and carried on with the Alaska series but with slightly different designs. I love Alaska so I enjoy the wildlife designs especially.
ooo! was that Misty’s vanity plate @ 32 seconds in? Very appropriate- and my dad would highly approve - he has a handful of caddies in his possession, minus a thumb. lol! (a 53, a 58 60 special, and two 90s deville’s - before front wheel drive took over). i watched her video earlier and could tell already you both had a good time. ok, now to finish watching, love you both! 😘🥰
