Nice little video. I've had my 2015 1.5 Ecoboost for nearly 4 years. Not a bad car to work on. However, the oil filter is so bleeding awkward to access lol. The cabin air filter isn't much easier. Squash in the top and bottom of the new filter as you push it in. Also, the coil packs must be kept in order as you showed. They are all slightly curved at different angles and if you mix them up, you will have problems re installing them. Subbed by the way. 😎
Thanks for your excellent video. Finally I found the best explanation for my Ford Focus car. What is the spray that you use for cleaning the coils that are plugged on the spark plugs? You wrote above Sump plug torque: 28Nm, it is not 15Nm instead? What is the tool that you use to extract the oil filter?
Great work! Im about to purchase spark plugs, How can i tell if the plugs in the description will suite my ford focus? Couldn’t find the specifications in the owner manual.
Should that cabin air filter cover have a screw? I saw another vid from a left hand drive model and they had to remove a torx screw to release that cover. Mine is RHD it also doesn’t have a screw
@@rafaeldelafuente4787 peeerfect !I also have that engine and same year 1.5 ecoboost 2017 st line starting a small project already KyN filter intake and cap intake from RS sounds amazing !! I have to check cause I hear the fuel pump working hard when cold start then is quiet but I will check inside of the fuel tank. Thanks a lot ! How many km you have already ? Have you had any engine problems with the coolant in the head of the piston or something like that ? thanks a lot mate !
@@alexmartin7439 Mine is going to do 80,000 kilometers and it hasn't given me any problems. A slight oil consumption, within what is acceptable. It is a very smooth and powerful engine and does not consume much. It left the factory in Cologne, Germany. greetings.

The level gauge of Focus 1.5 EcoBoost is hard to check whenever I feel.
But in your video, you caught pivotal moment!! 09:12
somehow, a very soothing video to hear and pleasant to watch.

I think is 15 Nm...
Thanks!@@rafaeldelafuente4787
I have this model , but the engine oil dipstick is a lot different , it’s near impossible to read a lot of times!
Great work!

Couldn’t find the specifications in the owner manual.
Thanks! If the engine code is the same then they’ll be correct. Check the codes on a parts website or give GSF/Millgate motor factors a call.
What year and model is this mate im just about to do a 17 plate 1.5 petrol would the capacity also be 4.1L on a st line? good vid
Hello, is the oil dipstick original? What is the number under which it can be found?

Probably. Seen it a lot where the housing is clipped and screwed but only the clips remain.
How many Nm do you tighten the spark plugs in this engine?
I aren’t sure without checking but spark plugs are usually 17-23nm if they’re not an angular tighten such as 1/8 turn.
@@IAMASPANNER Thanks. In the professional Ford shop, they said me 13Nm. In AutoDoc system is written also 13Nm. However, it's not top strong.
Hi mate ! do you you if in the ford focus ecoboost 1.5 is there any fuel filter ? thank you so much in advance
Mine is a 2017 1.5 ecoboost. My mecanic friend told me fuel filter is in the pump, into the tank. Hard replacement.
