These analysis videos tend to make commentaries on the shortfalls of an autocratic way of governance, like that of Russia's.
More over, it's been relatively easy to come across (in my daily research findings) examples of failures of this autocratic system (wherein power is consolidated by one person at the top[Putin]).
Thereby, creating a system where people within that system are afraid to speak truth to power - an inability for Russian Henchmen/Oligarchs to communicate to the Person at the top - openly, about the critical (pernicious) issues facing their country economically, militarily and technologically.
ie. An increasingly isolated and unaware Vladimir 'Presitator' Putin.

The missile that hit the Askold penetrated into the hull before exploding. What that photo shows is probably less than half the damage. It is now scrap as it would be cheaper and easier to start from scratch.

Also the Russians can't really build another one from scratch. They have about 6 that have been launched but haven't been completed for several years. The complex electronics have been difficult for them to finish.
I built planes, I fly planes. In my limited experience as a metalurgist, structural engineer and pilot. I think I can safely say that ship is a write off. The main command deck and electronics C&C is toast. An explosion that strong and subsequent fire would have changed the state of the metals of the superstructure not to mention the heat that affected any electronics via heat radiation and transferance along wires and through bulkheads.
I thought the duct tape WD40 thing was Canadian. Good to see it in the other hemisphere.

in Australia the WD40 would be INOX - sounds like cuntox but with an IN. Duct Tape is the modern alternative when there isn't a bit of fencing wire or binder twine about.

Heard that the Ukraine airforce have been flying the Dutch f-16 in Ukraine. Though USA, Denmark, Germany and Holland have been given a, lot of military hard and soft ware. Ukraine still calling for a lot of mortars shells. As they been using a lot of them and are running out. good updates 😊👍. Slava Ukrani 🔵🟡✊😷

Thank you for the update. Let’s hope the threat of tit for tat will make Russia think twice about targeting Ukraine’s electricity plants. But I DO think that if Ukraine would put Moscow in the dark a few times during winter, Putin’s popularity will plummet.
The 0rcss are too dumb to think once, let alone twice. They will prioritise terrorism againsts civilians as usual, then whine when Ukraine strikes back.
Ukraine has solid contingency plans and redundant spares - Russia will likely open crates and find the contents missing, mislabelled, obsolete and unserviceable, like the artillery shells with no payload...
I hope to and wish I could agree. But after months of various channel watching Juzzie and others my fear is ruzzia will spin acions like that to whip up a fervour of patriotism and proling the war. As Yoda would say about pootin. "disinformation and spin in strong in this one I see".

When they are, you will get reliable reportsof russian standoff air missile planes either being struck shortly after takeoff, or cessation of sorties. Rumor is neither real nor reliable to spread.

Juzzie, you are doing great, but is it a good idea to have a monthly “grand update” to differentiate from a daily update? Progress is really there, but this may accentuate the larger view on this conflict, especially during the wet/winter season. I think only hardcore followers are loyal viewers of your daily updates. This will end in as it should, I ‘m sure, but it might cement the viewers to reality. Just a thought, keep up the good work!! 👍😊

Why, considering this episode features the fresh destruction of a ship, doesn't the status chart show a change in the number of ships that have been destroyed? In fact, this has been a common dilemma with the casualty chart. Just trying to make a modicum of sense of the Russian led chaos and unjustifiable invasion of Ukraine.

You make a good point. Russia is one possible the country that is the MOST susceptible to drone strikes on the planet. No real natural obstacles that could deter their neighbors and a ridiculously long border that can't be covered even if they mobilized their entire population.
