Tbh I feel this would had went crazy in 2012-2018. Also meek n Ross should had promoted it more only reason I knew because I’m from Philly so I’m just supporting. The Album is decent.
It definitely was a good album. That's the problem. Albums aren't selling well in these days. Great albums are rarely getting bought and heard. Club music and tik tok songs are where it is now. Who listens to a radio like that anymore? Look at K Dot, who's bigger than both of these great artists. K Dot's last album was dope asf but ppl aren't listening to dope music like that. Its the days of drill, trap music, stripclub music, club music, etc full bodies of work aren't doing numbers like they used to. I think they could've and should've promoted harder and more. And definitely more uniquely. The going to radio stations and yada-yada is an old school method and its gotten played out to a degree. And with them doing their own promo , owning all their music, putting their music out there themselves they meet the risk any business does when there are sole proprietors. Everything falls in YOUR lap and on your head, to make you business keep working and growing. They need to learn how the music business machine works, build their own unique formula and marketing from that knowledge, and this bih like their families will die if their album doesn't sell well. You look at someone like Em, he knows his audience, what we're looking for, how we'll move, and he knows that he doesn't have to much promo for his album bcz we do it for him, pretty much. He drop heat outta nowhere, one of us sees it and listens to a few joints and shares and then word spreads. Ross and Meek gotta find their way in these waters and go harder. They went harder on the album then they did promoting it, let's keep it a buck. They're older and this generation isn't filled with many of us that live dope rap, bars, and beats. Putting them in two disadvantages of the bat. Now when you look at a ni66a like YB, of course whatever he drop gon' blow with lil to NO promo at all. Young ni66as that either wannabe gamgsta or actually are fvck with his music. And b!tches love the ni66a altogether so they gon' buy whatever he drop ASAP. With Meek and Ross being older, young ni66as ain't looking up to them like that. And b!tches ain't checking fo dem like a YB, Durk, Choppa, Trippie, Cardi, Meg the capper, Latto, Glo, etc. So there's a few reasons why the projected numbers are low like this

why would any of your fans pay you $10+ per month if they can pay your competitors and get way more out of it?
Gamma, the barber clipper company? 😂
35k sales at 10-15$ an album that’s a win!!! Especially if you don’t have to get robbed by a huge label
Yeah🎉
It’s hard to listen to a bunny hopper and a correctional officer talk street for an entire album
@bigjockknew7277so you saying it’s cool to bunny hop for a billionaire? The fuck are your morales at? I guess you would bend over and take it for 100 mil as well
Ayoooooo🤣
Bro this album is STREAMING WELL its#2 on Apple. The STREETS LOVE IT, the nerdy bloggers are throwing shade.
The streets still loving ross is wild
@frandavis1990 you ain't lying.. officer Ricky lol
Wow ok so it’s actually doing good
Eminem and Ye can do huge numbers
Project is definitely solid just what real rap needed
What’s your favorite song
Loved the album
Besides the traxs the release as singles the project in all honestly it was ok… the playlist had no flow it sounded like some of the songs were forced but it was a ok album I thought the singles were 🔥 tho but definitely nothing I needed to double back on but it happens it doesn’t take away from there legacy one bit
Your next video idea should be naming ten rappers that actually could sell over 200k.
My list: Drake, Kendrick, Tyler the creator, Travis Scott, Kanye, J. Cole, bad bunni (technically he’s not a rapper)… I can’t even think of any more.
I liked the album.I bought it
Good analyzation , I thought I was tripping but the album is🔥
the album is very mid tbh i think 30k first week for a terrible album with no much promotion is quite good imo
thats your opinion, i thought it was a good album
Facts they been the game for a decade.
35k is actually okay for A NEW ARTIST who still searching for their sound and audience.
not if they are independent dummy@@happypeople3746
Curren$y and lil wayne are the only people that can get me to buy physical future as well but ive never bought a physical cd from him but for sure wayne and curren$y are the last to albums i bought physical
Hey question why do you feel like Currensy didn’t have a bigger career
First time I’ve ever heard of this album is right now
Album was definitely dope
What’s your favorite song
You need a hit ahead of the release to move over 100k. I can name 1 somgt
Hardly nobody is *'buying'* Music these days. And Rap isn't in Hi-Demand as it once were like back in the day. There's too many rappers out - everywhere 'rap this - rap that'.
The Artform of Rap is no different from any of its predecessors - Ragtime Blues Rock Soul RnB etc, they all get Old & Die becoming nostalgia.
A Changing of The Guard
35k independent is like 100k signed. Tape was good too
Ok that makes sense
“I don’t understand a single thing Meek Mill said in all this.” 😂 this is how I feel every time he tweets
🧢
People are getting tired of hearing about black genocide and destruction. This low vibration music is getting boring. Do better, move better and leave us alone. We tired 😩
Exactly mf need to be more creative with the shit more creative talk about love spirituality mindset greatness relationship family evolution talk about finance literacy, niggaz only want to talk about the destruction and genocide of our ppl
Preach!!!
Thank You!!
Lmaooooo facts
Yup. Especially from Meek Luther King. His original fan base is 30+ now & he still talking the same shit he did on rap dvds.
As long as they rich and having fun that’s what matters
I don’t even know how to buy an album these days… I just listen to it on TH-cam
Lol me 2
I fucks wit the album
🔥🔥🔥 the album was fire
I don’t think anyone is actually excited for any rap anymore
it depends on who it is. I was excited for the Nas album. It pays to be a great artist.
Why you say that
This is a hella good album. Almost every track was fire.
You can’t say that no one knew about the album as they dropped the single first of the album promoting that a album was coming….
Also it’s not like they aren’t switched on how to promote everything. They normally do all over social media
My dumb ass read “too to true be good”😂😂🤦🏾♂️
i dont even know how to buy albums tho all that shit ran by "those people" why ima buy it wen it drops free on utube feel me i dead ass never bought a song or album in my life and thats 90% of gen z u feel me
DAMN I AINT KNOW THEY DROPPED A ALBUM
This album is fire 🔥 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 someone paying people to hate
Facts
The machine has made it impossible to know whats really happening, that was their goal. Until we return to some form of physical units the machine can control perception.
It would have to get 125,000,000 streams first week to get 100k sels first week
yea ain nobody listening to meek now😭
I didn’t even know they made an album
Still haven't listened to the album
This album is nice❤
it was an indie release, as long as they get majority of the profits its a win. theres artist selling 100k and dont get paid off that at all
Word.
Bro id like to apologise for defending YB ignorantly when you mentioned no one cared about him and i went on about TH-cam Streams. I apologise, i was super wrong and now i agree again on your take.
That pretty big of you hope you keep that mindset from now on
Yeah I liked this album
artists are cooking their sales and labels.
It’s a really good album
I also think meek mills is stupid. If you signed to Ross and later said you didn’t make no money while you were signed to Ross. Why would you go back to Ross. Unless you found out you can’t do anything on your own and can’t be your own boss. So you run back to master. All the real artist that were signed to MMG and left are doing just fine musically without Ross except meek.
hes done a partnership with ross for this project they both own the masters.
@bigjockknew7277 by what standard? Meek last album was trash. Wale last 2 albums were fire, Omarion even though he lost that vs is still putting out hits and stally who imo should have been pushed more. Has been putting out fire and imo is a better artist than meek in a lot of ways. French Montana well do I even need to say anything? His song unforgettable is bigger than any song meek will ever put out
@@zairethinker what does that “partnership” have to do with that 10 year slave deal Ross had meek in?
music is subjective, you might think its trash me I think otherwise@@t-god2439
Tbh I feel this would had went crazy in 2012-2018. Also meek n Ross should had promoted it more only reason I knew because I’m from Philly so I’m just supporting. The Album is decent.
Philly nigga I'm flying lmao shot out bro.
Prince 🤘☀️
Seems like no one really cares about rap right now. Spanish music is better at the moment. 🔥
On a national level, people might be losing interest. The hood still cares.
That shit with Dee-1 is why this shit didn’t climb, Rick’s response alone let me know where they stand with their own kind. 😂
But two big rappers pulling 35k vs one stand alone rapper selling the same amount is wild
not if they are indie without the resources from a major
🧐1:20-is that part of they job to internet they feelings,Y go back to poison if you got the antidote🤨, lacking Sense on Common, ByLaw.
So there's a few reasons why the projected numbers are low like this
not Meg the capper🤣🤣🤣
It’s weird you would expect Meek and Rick to be on my new music pop up on Apple Music
They need to be on that T.I flow making some affordable housing .
We boutta bring barz back to rap this next year
the beats selection are garbge hich suprised knowing how goood Ross on beats selection
The font on the album cover is weak
How could you say it flopped it just dropped
Fr
Exactly like don’t you need a little time
