Word "samogOn" means "homemade distillate". The source for it can be any sugar-containing substancies. Most often this simply sugar. I heard about potato samogon, but never tried it. It probably produced in Byelorussia. So, georgian chacha named "vinogradny samogon" in Russia. Starch before fermentation needs saccharification with malt, so it concerns, rather, malt liquors such as whiskey and bourbon. Vodka is 2 part of ethanol and 3 part of water and origin of ethanol does not matter. Most popular way to produce ethanol is ethylene hydration. It's cheapest variant.
i can't believe they are condencing with 1 straight pipe , but i guess it works. also they should add a slobber box to catch undwanted chemicals . they don't know the temperature without a thermometer and if it gets to hot you will push through water
Old before there time??? Those guys are easily 40 and 70. And poison? Yes I agree that the traditional manner of alcohol production is a little dangerous because unwanted chemicals can be produced but i can tell you for a fact the fatality rate of Georgians dying from alcohol poisoning is almost 0.
We Have Better, Stronger And Sweatier Alcohols Especially Wine And Chacha!! What Are You Drinking There? Bears Or Vodkas They Are Up to 25-40% And Chacha Is From 50-95% alcohol by volume!! You Would Die Drinking It!!
you would think it would go bad from not bring sanitized, but the chacha itself is the sanitizer
