@@jacobsidorov Honestly, I feel like I'm in the minority here but I have yet to see a car that makes me like the look of Regamasters. I've seen them on S13s, RX7s, R32s, Evo 5/6s and a few others and they've done nothing for me

Jimmy you should ABSOLUTELY run that turbo. The Borg Warner EFR is legitimately a better overall turbo than anything Garrett makes. I say that as a big fan of Garrett, but the EFR series is a step above even the G series. A popular thing to do in my neck of the woods putting vvl sr20’s in mk1 golfs has become a thing. Kinda easy to find here in Cape Town.

Those engines came in a primera in the UK..... And came with chameleon paint as a standard option, same as the micra of the same era..... Underrated cars mann, even stock
VVL engines were Japan only they never came in any UK cars. The Primera GTLE were built to celebrate winning the BTCC season and had the chameleon paint and a different interior, they still only had an SR20DE engine.

Jimmy!! Keep the fd!! The butterfly doors is the worst part of the car. The molded rear end and the rest of the fiberglass kit is actually really cool. Keep it!!

Man im stoked to see BW EFR get some love. the EFR line is the magic that started the newer turbo technology. All the engineers from Garret that didn't wanna move to China went to BW LOL.
I think the molded body kit on the RX7 is a total vibe. You just have to embrace the car for what it is at this point with those doors and kit.

That is actually a "20v" vvl head from the same engine I have in my Infiniti g20, that is a second gen vvl so it is the last sr20 that was vvl and there is a factory turbo version that came in the X-Trail Gt(Sr20Vet), really happy for you brother!

CP rods CP pistons, Plazmanan manifold, all the fuit, Haltech Elite 1500 with Bosch DBW throttlebody.
It screams, and the VVL hitting at 5k rpm is insame, revs out to 9500rpm and sounds like a bike engine! love it!
