Golb is basically Angra Mainyu from Zoroastrianism. They even reference the yashts, where the hero retrieves his brother from Mainyu's bowels much like Jake does to Finn and Simon.
The reason we see golb when Finn leaves pillow world is because Finn created a universe that doesn't exist through his spiritual projection, so once he left that world golb being the embodiment of chaos and nothingness was soon to be heading to that universe to return it back to nothing since the universe had no reason to be existing anymore now that Finn had left it. Which is why when Finn tried to explain what happened he couldn't remember because golb already erased it from existence. We see how golb causes chaos first in the last A.T episode so imagine that in pillow world before the sweet bliss of being returned to nothingness.
That means the Jerry world will be erased too, since its existence was created by the lich's wish. Now that the lich was turned into a tetris block, the Jerry world no longer need to exist.
How did Finn create the pillow world. Why was Finn the centre aspect of it. And since it was consumed by Golb and forgotten, why wasn’t Margles forgotten when she was consumed?
I don’t believe that theory. I’m pretty sure the episode “The Lich” books says that two unrelated universes can become temporarily linked by naturally forming wormholes. It also says something about a “temporal synchronization” on both sides of the opening to allow the safe passage of particles between two non local regions of space time, which I’m pretty sure explains why time passes at different rates on both ends?

Also, not everyone on Earth is a catalyzes comet, only certain people are.
Also, I want to add that all souls have the choose to reincarnation, however, certain ones have no choose and have to reincarnate. Like Finn and Jake, because Finn is a catalyst comet and Jake is Finn's soulmate. (Soulmate as in they will always find each other in each life, not the lover kind.)

Gunther’s problem wasn’t a lack of intelligence, but a lack of love. It’s not that he misunderstood, who Evergreen was or what was being asked of him he just didn’t have the emotional growth to be able to make a wish unencumbered by all the suffering he had faced in his life from an uncaring, father figure who used them more as a tool than a person. I don’t know why you’re claiming that Gunther was basically a talking fish when it’s pretty clear his problem is that he was naïve, because Evergreen didn’t even bother, teaching him anything beyond doing his manual labor.
None of that is relevant when you realize the crown not just grants a wish, but grants someone's deepest wish. I think the crown's creator truly wanted to save the world by stopping the comet. Gunter's deepest desire was to be just like his father. His physical change shows his mental age and naivety
@@offspringfan100 sure but the thing is he was claiming that Gunther was a barely cognizant animal who could not comprehend things. I think he was just being an evergreen apologist, but Evergreen doesn’t deserve the forgiveness of pretending that Gunther was less than an order to justify why his harebrained scheme failed in the first place
You're wrong about the 'Jerry' universe. It's explained in 'crossover' that even if a wish is undone by someone else the magic still needs to go somewhere. This is why farmworld exists. Originally Finn's wish transformed Ooo into farmworld, but then Jake wish made it so that Finn never made his wish, thus farmworld because a paralel universe instead. Same with the litch he wished for the extinction of all life everywhere, but Finn undid that wish, the magic of that wish still had to go somewhere and thus it created 'jerry universe'. Also i don't think it's ever fully confirmed the lich is one of the primordials before time, i think it's more implied that he just has knowledge of the time before the universe, which to me seems reasonable for a being who is a scolar of Golb that he'd learn about that
How do we know any of these things as absolute facts though, that’s what bothers me about all of this stuff I don’t remeber the show explaining half of the stuff you guys are talking about, and even then it seems like people are streatching the few things we DO get explained
@@Sleepy_Muse i mean i don't disagree that i could be wrong, but i'm just going with what i remember what was explained by the characters in the show itself.
Pretty sure the wishes just make a new Universe every time and put the wish maker in it, because in f&c prismo shows a bunch of universes and says "a wish made this universe" if it was just changing them he wouldn't need to make a new one
Maybe. Extinction through a wish is a bit anticlimactic, especially considering that it was pretty much instant so the Lich couldn't even enjoy the moment
Nah, he mentions to GOLB that his purpose was fulfilled so he felt there was nothing else for him. His existence was meaningless now that his reason to live is gone.
@@OmniversalInsectHe enjoyed the brief feeling of victory like Megamind did when he thought he effortlessly killed Metroman, but like Megamind it didn't take long for him to realize that because the win was essentially handed to him that there's nothing else to do. He needs a system to decay in order to feel fulfilled, without one he feels he has no purpose.
Damn its weird I never thought of Gunther not wanting to be Orgalorg again when I saw that episode, for some reason I keep thinking of the characters as one fixed being despite that obviously not being the case for Sweet Pea and Gunther and that they basically want to break their cycles of being stuck as the same beings they were for eons. I guess he loved being a penguin so much, and Ice King too despite being annoyed by him, explaining the ice crown being reset as a wish granter again making him into "Ice Thing" and that is actually quite wholesome to think about.
It's really sweet that the original Gunther wish turned the crown's wearer into a maniac who bosses around "gunthers", but Simon was such a good person that he ended up treating the "gunthers" well. And that led to Gunther's wish to be like Ice King, showing us just how highly the penguins thought of him.
The crown won't just grant the first wish of the person who wears it but the thing the person wishes the most. Gunther put on the crown in an attempt to stop the comet, but ultimately what he truly wanted was to become like Evergreen. This is also why Betty couldn't wish for Golb to just go somewhere else, what she actually wanted was power to ensure Simon stays safe forever, so she basically had no choice but to wish that instead. I think this is a very interesting way to do a 'monkey's paw' , because it's not really that the universe or anyone is trolling you, it's you playing yourself. Most of us would get in real trouble if we tried to use the crown to wish something, I would say, since we tend to not really know exactly what we want until something happens that lets us know...
something to point out: when Prismo first shows up and explains the Lich's wish, he says "guess it must've changed his timeline or something." in my mind, this basically confirms that "Jerry's" world from Fionna and Cake isn't the ORIGINAL Ooo timeline, but instead a cloned timeline much like Farmworld, only the split occurs much later on because the Lich was very direct, whereas Finn's wish had to be very roundabout.
That was a super insightful breakdown. I absolutely love the idea that Gunther and evergreen are Simon and Finn incarnations. It really connects their dynamics and tragedies in a satisfying way imo
@@pinklemons7254 How? simon is a human not a weird elemental creature until the Ice crown, and also once that comet hit it was an extinction that followed so life would have been destroyed 66 million years ago.
This might be one of my favorite analysis videos for the series, and i’ve seen a ton! Especially love how you connected Earth to being a “prison” for higher beings, but also as a place to grow and prosper for its more “normal” citizens. Everything was super informative and backed with evidence which made the video really easy to follow! Subbed :D
This is such a great video explaining the mythology and philosophy of Adventure Time. It made me understand the spiritual meaning on a deeper level and appreciate the creative genius of it more. Thank you so much. 💚
I don’t think that Simon is a reincarnate of Evergreen because Simon isn’t an elemental. They also don’t share the same ideals. Even though both tried to save their world, Simon was doing it for the good of the world while Evergreen was doing it for self preservation, similar to his actual reincarnate, Patience St. Pim. Patience freezes herself so she doesn’t die which is self preservation. I don’t hate this video but there’s definitely a lot of thing’s incorrect
@@cardboard.sp00n19it was confirmed by patience that simon isn't an elemental, as his powers stem from the wish of the crown, not the crown itself or from an elemental proficiency.
Ive studied the world religions, and Ive had my own experiences with the other side on dmt and such things. This show was made with a lot of spiritual and heady stuff baked right in, and I feel the character arcs are beyond what one would expect to find in a "kid show". Such a good piece of cinema/art. What a time to be alive to experience it!
If you truly studied ALL religions , you would have known that Saturn and Adam were the highest Gods Saturn was the one who caused THE big bang which led to the creation of TIME on accident First 7 minutes of “the episode that solved stewie’s paradox” made by The Theorizer, perfectly explains how did that happen! Just imagine Saturn and Adam doing it instead of stewie and his dog. Maybe then you will understand why God can’t kill Satan but only imprison him. 😊 Isn’t it weird how Satan was 20x more smarter than Gods from the garden of Eden? Real God/Observer that imagined things into existence was a reptile LONG before taking on a human form! Which means that BOTH God and evolution theory are correct. Your own reproductive “system” looks like a SNAKE. Or mouth of the snake ( if you’re a woman ) God created the entire universe THROUGH ADAM , not Jesus. Adam is the “torus field” of the entire universe and that’s why we see him in some of our “fictional” stories, such as : Rick and Morty = Saturn and Adam James Halliday and Wade Watts Doc and Marty McFly Professor and Phillip J Fry Doctor “FATE” and black Adam Palpatine and Anakin Skywalker Ego and Peter Quill Ultima and Clive Rosfield Amazing simulation. Beautiful ❤
Golb makes me think of the eldrazi from magic the gathering, basically 3 titans that manifested in the void between worlds, and whose job seems to be finishing off dying world and returning it to the aether it came from(essence of creation basically)
Golb is basically Angra Mainyu from Zoroastrianism. They even reference the yashts, where the hero retrieves his brother from Mainyu's bowels much like Jake does to Finn and Simon.
God I love this show and am so grateful for it. Here I am once again about to go down a rabbit hole researching life, death, high empathy and nihilistic chaos. As a bratty teenager that watched this with my little sister whom I was responsible for, I secretly loved it so much. I think the deep layers of mindfulness unpeeled in adventure time definitely helped mold me into the person I am, and a better adult than I may have become.
I think Prismos boss is GLOB. Glob is used as a replacement for God in many phrases so it would makes sense. Also GLOB would be maybe an opposite to GOLB.
Stop spreading out ridiculous speculation. I think you're confusing Glob here. Glob is character from Adventure Time. He is one of the deity from Mars, and he is generally seen as God because of his legends, stories, and his heroism in Mars. The phrase "Oh my Glob" and other god phrases are popularized by the Candy people who believe and worship in Glob. (They also got a whole church of him) Glob is not Prismo's boss, and definitely not the opposite of GOLB, as Glob and GOLB is completely unrelated at all, aside from similar appearance in red and diamond-shaped head.
@@outrowedmaybe do a bit more research b4 writing people off. Golb seems to based off of zoroastrianism, and in that religion there are 2 central deities in which they cancel each other out. If golb is the chaos and the anti god, i see not reason why glob cant be a benevolent creator. Get your head of out of your ass.
I have made it my life's mission to call out every person who pronounces "nuclear" wrong. That being said, excellent video. I freakin love Adventure Time.
This is a really good breakdown and gives me a lot of new perspective to think about, good job. I think the only one I can truly counter is within the comets description, gunter the dinosaur is not really finn because the blue comet has not hit the earth yet. Or a you saying that the comet not hitting the earth is irrelevant since farmworld finn also has been born even when the comet misses. You could say that the comet can reincarnated in the future and the past even without hitting the earth thus creating finn gunther? XD
My theory is that lich was once a giant in a world of giants before discovering the dark magic of chaos and being corrupted by it, this is why sweet p is a giant, this was his fate along with all others of his kind and the end of the first ever time. This theory is supported by the fact that these primordials are essentially gods and / or demons and it could be playing off of Greek mythology, where the gods were giants and are descended from giants, though ones that managed to harness or could innately use the powers of the universe that be.
There's some interesting theories presented in this, but I admit there's a bit of inconsistency between quite a bit of them. Especially in the case of how the wish room operates with the creation of realities, and stuff surrounding reincarnation and comets.
When I was a little kid, I thought all the war stuff in the background felt strange, not knowing what it meant. The Lich king episode felt so weird, it was dark and not like the usual goofy adventure.
I have learned so much of how to just live in this world as a functioning human being with the goals of just being a better person tomorrow as I was today through the psycho-evolution theory and historical lore presented through the lens of cartoons that you provide. Thank you!
Im gonna toss a theory out there. Given what went on with Martin by the end of the original series and Fionna and Cake.... Maybe Martin achieved some very powerful magic, cosmic power, or divinity (even before ascending to another plane of existence) and that's what Glob was reading? Maybe he had a similar potency to a Catalyst Comet... Or the one that was coming was just that much more potent then what was considered "normal"?
Golb does feel somewhat like a Hindu God, some sort of destroyer, but not necessarily in an evil way, just as part of the great cycle of creation and destruction.
im honestly so grateful this is the show i grew up with. adventure time has helped me grow in my spiritual journey and i love looking into all the different stories that went way over my head as a kid. fantastic video!
I think that Gunther did not appear as one of Finn's forms is because we saw that Gunther was in the crown with more of the crown users that died or stil alive. So what I'm trying to say is that every person that died when the crown was on him is now stuck in the crown but ther soul is being reincarnated.
Dude, you did great with this breakdown. Super enjoyable and perspective shifting detailing this timeless and honestly resonating TV series. The writers of this show spared little expense. Even if it's a cartoon, a good bit of its principles hold true 💯
Mythologically speaking this episode is awesome as hell. I'd love to see more citations so I can dig deeper myself but this is still pretty decent as an overview. Thank you!
Someone else might have mentioned this but Martin wasn't related to the comets until he left with the purple one. It's based on the soul/spirit reincarnating not the blood line continuing And Simon isn't a reincarnation of evergreen, that's what the ice elemental is. Simon/Ice King is just a knock off elemental because of the crown
Bro this video is so nice, I've been watching Adventure Time as a child and haven't really gotten to watching the episodes about the Golb so this explains a lot. Thanks!
And to think some people (who probably didnt bother watching the show) like to believe that lazy theory that everything is just in the head of a comatosed Finn, completely downplaying how deep and intricate this show’s lore actually is.
I mean, it's a theme in adventure time that dreams can create universes and even multiverses, so even if the comatosed finn theory is true, everything he dreamed off would still happen one way or another
I think, in the pillow world, when Finn dies there and travels back to Ooo, he sees Golb going to eat the pillow world and take it out of existence. That’s why he can’t remember the pillow world after he gets back, because it is consumed by Golb and ceases to exist. Although, I don’t know why he’d forget about the pillow world after it ceases to exist, but magic man remembers Margles after she is consumed by Golb.
the lich was first introduced during billys theme song as it goes whos the greatest warrior ever a hero of renown who slayed a evil ocean who cast the lich king down. when it says cast the lich king down it shows a scene of billy kicking the lich in the face
3:52 i disagree cause all the jewels in that universes crown was in the crown and not outside of the candy kingdom and the crown was in the drum when we know it wasn't cause ice king was wearing it and also the crown jewels was outside of the candy kingdom
The layers one can experience in Adventurer Time is one of the (many) reasons it's a great show. The idea that immortal souls exist in an experience cycle that also exists with "poots on newts for stealing boots." Is something that most creatives strive for.
You know, I just realized they made some huge retcon shenanigans with the crown in the last episode. You have to remember that Evergreen was super arrogant so he designed the crown to judge the soul and grant their truest wish because he assumed that he was pure of heart and could put the world above his desires, which is something that would’ve burned them, even without Gunther using the crown, something the other elementals pretty much told him would happen. But then, in the finale instead of judging Betty, it just takes a request that needs multiple tries because of reasons, constraints and blah blah excuses. But if they had been consistent with the crown, it would’ve just grabbed her wish to be with Simon teleport of them somewhere where they could be together forever and you know doom the rest of Ooo.
No what's happening is that those first two wishes were against Golb, and they didn't work because you can wish Golb away or making him not exists, the crown was failing to do the wishes
@@jeanduresau but think about it Gunther didn’t ask for a wish it just read his heart and understood his desire to be his masters equal and created a perverse translation of that. Why did Betty have to ask for her wish specifically when it would’ve done the same? Betty like Evergreen it’s not a perfect being who can control their heart. There’s no way that the truest wish in her heart wasn’t just to be with Simon and not this self-sacrificing protection gambit she pulled out when her other request failed.
@emeraldpichu1 But where would they be teleported to? A new universe? Does the crown even have that power? It can't be somewhere in Ooo because the mere presence of golb in the universe of Ooo means it will be erased, so golb had to be sent back somehow. I still kinda agree that it was retconed tho. Probably for the sake of drama, which isn't really bad.
I just have to say a huge THANK YOU for making this video. I love this show, especially because of the deeper messages contained within. I really appreciate your take on this, including these aspects that I think likely mean a lot to the makers of this show--part of what makes Adventure Time such a treasure. 💖
I don't think they will have one in their world unless one comes from another universe as the Lich invaded the multiverse before Fionna & Cake's universe was merged with the rest.
The destination of Golbetty on the bus in the last episode of F&C was translated to be “Comet” from the enchiridion language… I’ve been trying to figure out what that could mean…
Sorry to break it to you, but those symbols being "translated" to comet was a lie, there's no actual translation of those symbols, the person who supposedly translated it was lying
Adventure Time's universe and lore is so weird and convoluted, but I really like it, it allows for all kind of interpretations and at the end of the day that makes it very enjoyable to me, even if it raises some questions as to whether that constitutes good storytelling and how the creators themselves are probably barely keeping the writing together
8:35 That page on the left is such an amazing and incredibly obscure easter egg that’s ABRAXAS, the gnostic “Incomprehensible but Knowable God of (Physical) Creation and the Balance of Opposites” They exist as part of but also separate from the concept of the Highest God of the Spiritual World and Higher Things (the God that exists beyond the horizon of our comprehension because of the scale of their existence, creator of everything) both creator and destroyer at the same time, a cosmic being that predates logic and exceeds our ability to comprehend their motives and state of being, they also take on many forms and identities and are more of a they/them than an individual the image with the infinity sign, triangle, and the snake feet / rooster head is a symbol moreso than a physical representation, with each limb representing something about existence Abraxas is the god of the old testament, cthonic in-nature, saturnian and capricious, a god of time and space, light and dark at the same time, loving and gentle but also mighty and terrifying the kind of god who might increase the collective suffering in the world to produce an outcome that improves the spiritual condition of life (ascension during times of chaos) at the cost of many lost souls an intentional challenger but god only of the 4-dimensional physical world, not the spiritual one (i.e ‘the black cube of saturn’ that traps souls in 4 dimensions until they either ascend and break free or spiral down; or they choose to continue reincarnating in various worlds for unknown purposes after taking more control of their spiritual path) born of the essence of higher existence, a sort of “offspring” of the highest comprehensible form of god, (debated on whether or not in-service or opposition to a higher being) and choosing to descend to a lower plane to create an imperfect realm as a school for souls (but schools often feel like prisons)
You did a fantastic job with this. SO clear and easy to follow. I've watched the series start to finish 4 times and I still get fuzzy about the timeline sometimes so the fact that you provided specifics was so helpful and I learned so much!!! Thank you! Subscribed 😎
Dang good job on the video. Also I wonder if the parents of the kids that watched this would still think of this as just a cartoon when hearing this. Lol
Ironically by cutting Farmworld Jake-Lichs hand and sent it into the multiverse, they turned him into a Demilich. Though they are just single bodyparts of the former lich, demilichs are prefered and evolved forms that bound their soul rather into indestructable Gems than an Phylacterian. They are often multiversal beings (the hand set into every single Multiverse in AT) that can cross dimensions easily and posses godlike powers (Lich at one point get in control to the deaths son). I really think he is inspired by the Demlich from D&D.
Golb is like the Eldrazi from Magic the gathering or maybe Alioth from the Loki Time Keepers timeline. Or like someone else mentioned Ahriman from Zoroastrianism or maybe even Kali Ma from Hinduism...
we clearly see in flashbacks to before her time that candy sentience existed because of the bomb that went off, such as when some bubblegum helps Simon.

I think he was just being an evergreen apologist, but Evergreen doesn’t deserve the forgiveness of pretending that Gunther was less than an order to justify why his harebrained scheme failed in the first place
this
You're wrong about the 'Jerry' universe.
Also i don't think it's ever fully confirmed the lich is one of the primordials before time, i think it's more implied that he just has knowledge of the time before the universe, which to me seems reasonable for a being who is a scolar of Golb that he'd learn about that
How do we know any of these things as absolute facts though, that’s what bothers me about all of this stuff
I don’t remeber the show explaining half of the stuff you guys are talking about, and even then it seems like people are streatching the few things we DO get explained
@@Sleepy_Muse i mean i don't disagree that i could be wrong, but i'm just going with what i remember what was explained by the characters in the show itself.
There is a theory about a war between primordial beings, could it be that one side were the Scholars of Golb?
Pretty sure the wishes just make a new Universe every time and put the wish maker in it, because in f&c prismo shows a bunch of universes and says "a wish made this universe" if it was just changing them he wouldn't need to make a new one
@@beanbagburritono, i still think that depends on the wish. Otherwise there was no point to finn & jake stopping the lich's wish in the first place
Super appreciated this. After Fiona and Cake, really needed a refresher on the deeper lore like the comets and Lich's origin.
I’ve been wondering, what if the monkey’s paw effect for the Lich’s dead world was his inability to find satisfaction in the destruction?
:O
@@Ichiyama22 He did enjoy the moment, he laughed maniacally as he got transported to his wish world. But the moment didn't last long it seems.
Most of us would get in real trouble if we tried to use the crown to wish something, I would say, since we tend to not really know exactly what we want until something happens that lets us know...
something to point out:
when Prismo first shows up and explains the Lich's wish, he says "guess it must've changed his timeline or something."
in my mind, this basically confirms that "Jerry's" world from Fionna and Cake isn't the ORIGINAL Ooo timeline, but instead a cloned timeline much like Farmworld, only the split occurs much later on because the Lich was very direct, whereas Finn's wish had to be very roundabout.
That was a super insightful breakdown. I absolutely love the idea that Gunther and evergreen are Simon and Finn incarnations. It really connects their dynamics and tragedies in a satisfying way imo
Why would Simon be a reincarnation of evergreen? The show makes it clear that patience is the reincarnation of evergreen.
Tbh I feel like Simon is a descendant of Evergreen while patience is an actual Reincarnation of evergreen.
@@pinklemons7254 How? simon is a human not a weird elemental creature until the Ice crown, and also once that comet hit it was an extinction that followed so life would have been destroyed 66 million years ago.
@abdulsabri6551 Oh yeah. He couldn't have created a family 😅
This is something about Adventure Time that inspires my creativity so much
the show is incredibly inspirational in every aspect!
Simon could be a candidate to being an elemental though, not inheriting the innate powers because Patience St. Pim kept herself alive.
@@cardboard.sp00n19 actually patience was from the same time period as Simon so I don't see how that would work
@@cardboard.sp00n19it was confirmed by patience that simon isn't an elemental, as his powers stem from the wish of the crown, not the crown itself or from an elemental proficiency.
@@cardboard.sp00n19Patience Pim was from the same time as Simon....

love all the spirital and mythilogical aspects of this show. thisis a excillent break down and very well done!
Golb is literally just a machine that has no resaon or purpose, only a function that he carries out or waits till he can and i love it
Evergreen is the ice elemental which means he reincarnates with he's latest reincarnation being Patience St. Pim so Simon can't be he's reincarnation
If you truly studied ALL religions , you would have known that Saturn and Adam were the highest Gods
Saturn was the one who caused THE big bang which led to the creation of TIME on accident
First 7 minutes of “the episode that solved stewie’s paradox” made by The Theorizer, perfectly explains how did that happen!
Just imagine Saturn and Adam doing it instead of stewie and his dog.
Maybe then you will understand why God can’t kill Satan but only imprison him. 😊
Isn’t it weird how Satan was 20x more smarter than Gods from the garden of Eden?
Real God/Observer that imagined things into existence was a reptile LONG before taking on a human form!
Which means that BOTH God and evolution theory are correct.
Your own reproductive “system” looks like a SNAKE.
Or mouth of the snake
( if you’re a woman )
God created the entire universe THROUGH ADAM , not Jesus.
Adam is the “torus field” of the entire universe and that’s why we see him in some of our “fictional” stories, such as :
Rick and Morty =
Saturn and Adam
James Halliday and Wade Watts
Doc and Marty McFly
Professor and Phillip J Fry
Doctor “FATE” and black Adam
Palpatine and Anakin Skywalker
Ego and Peter Quill
Ultima and Clive Rosfield
Amazing simulation.
@@carlosalbuquerque22 I didn’t know that, and thank you for telling me
@@pokegard You're welcome
God I love this show and am so grateful for it. Here I am once again about to go down a rabbit hole researching life, death, high empathy and nihilistic chaos. As a bratty teenager that watched this with my little sister whom I was responsible for, I secretly loved it so much. I think the deep layers of mindfulness unpeeled in adventure time definitely helped mold me into the person I am, and a better adult than I may have become.
I think Prismos boss is GLOB. Glob is used as a replacement for God in many phrases so it would makes sense. Also GLOB would be maybe an opposite to GOLB.
I’m not sure if it’s glob
Stop spreading out ridiculous speculation. I think you're confusing Glob here. Glob is character from Adventure Time. He is one of the deity from Mars, and he is generally seen as God because of his legends, stories, and his heroism in Mars.
The phrase "Oh my Glob" and other god phrases are popularized by the Candy people who believe and worship in Glob. (They also got a whole church of him)
Glob is not Prismo's boss, and definitely not the opposite of GOLB, as Glob and GOLB is completely unrelated at all, aside from similar appearance in red and diamond-shaped head.
Well it's confirmed that Orbo is Prismo's (and Scarab's) boss, but whoever Orbo answers to would likely be the creator of the multiverse
@@bailey57401that would be the cosmic imagination, which is orbo's boss
Sweet p was a giant because he was born from Billy’s skeleton possessed by the lich and Billy was a giant.
@@billypillypersonalEE oh ok
@@deadgiveaway-z3idon't feel shut down your theory was cool
@@deondrex18k oh ok
Thank you!
The lich’s wish probably didnt even kill all life in the original universe, as why would that one be the only large-scale wish to actually affect it
Im gonna toss a theory out there.

Thank you!
9:58 wait a second I thought his legs were his hands and I didn't notice the little hands
Patience is Urgence Evergreen, not Simon. The being an elemental and name make it obvious.
Someone else might have mentioned this but Martin wasn't related to the comets until he left with the purple one. It's based on the soul/spirit reincarnating not the blood line continuing
And Simon isn't a reincarnation of evergreen, that's what the ice elemental is.
I mean, it's a theme in adventure time that dreams can create universes and even multiverses, so even if the comatosed finn theory is true, everything he dreamed off would still happen one way or another
Was waiting for this video, noice!
I think, in the pillow world, when Finn dies there and travels back to Ooo, he sees Golb going to eat the pillow world and take it out of existence. That’s why he can’t remember the pillow world after he gets back, because it is consumed by Golb and ceases to exist. Although, I don’t know why he’d forget about the pillow world after it ceases to exist, but magic man remembers Margles after she is consumed by Golb.
awesome video, I haven't seen such an in depth analyzation of the shows lore before

Don't disrespect our boy like that
the lich was first introduced during billys theme song as it goes whos the greatest warrior ever a hero of renown who slayed a evil ocean who cast the lich king down. when it says cast the lich king down it shows a scene of billy kicking the lich in the face
I just realize how much adventure time is like scientology

We will definitely see more of the Lich with the hands and the fact Fionna and Cake should now get one of sorts.
I don't think they will have one in their world unless one comes from another universe as the Lich invaded the multiverse before Fionna & Cake's universe was merged with the rest.

Adventure time creators were lowkey geniuses
The destination of Golbetty on the bus in the last episode of F&C was translated to be “Comet” from the enchiridion language… I’ve been trying to figure out what that could mean…

Adventure Time's universe and lore is so weird and convoluted, but I really like it, it allows for all kind of interpretations and at the end of the day that makes it very enjoyable to me, even if it raises some questions as to whether that constitutes good storytelling and how the creators themselves are probably barely keeping the writing together

that’s ABRAXAS, the gnostic “Incomprehensible but Knowable
God of (Physical) Creation and the Balance of Opposites”
They exist as part of but also separate from the concept of the Highest God of the Spiritual World and Higher Things (the God that exists beyond the horizon of our comprehension because of the scale of their existence, creator of everything)
both creator and destroyer at the same time, a cosmic being that predates logic and exceeds our ability to comprehend their motives and state of being, they also take on many forms and identities and are more of a they/them than an individual
the image with the infinity sign, triangle, and the snake feet / rooster head is a symbol moreso than a physical representation, with each limb representing something about existence
Abraxas is the god of the old testament, cthonic in-nature, saturnian and capricious, a god of time and space, light and dark at the same time, loving and gentle but also mighty and terrifying
the kind of god who might increase the collective suffering in the world to produce an outcome that improves the spiritual condition of life (ascension during times of chaos) at the cost of many lost souls
an intentional challenger
but god only of the 4-dimensional physical world, not the spiritual one (i.e ‘the black cube of saturn’ that traps souls in 4 dimensions until they either ascend and break free or spiral down; or they choose to continue reincarnating in various worlds for unknown purposes after taking more control of their spiritual path)
born of the essence of higher existence, a sort of “offspring” of the highest comprehensible form of god, (debated on whether or not in-service or opposition to a higher being) and choosing to descend to a lower plane to create an imperfect realm as a school for souls (but schools often feel like prisons)
