Ha ha yeah it's ridge racer John mate I love that tune and I suppose it's the old chav side of me that likes it. £13 was a bargain for the console with all them games and passed it onto a mate who would appreciate more than me 🙂👍
Every game I picked to try on the Gameboy advance emulator had massive intros Paul mate it was a joke when I wanted to try the games out for the video 🤣👍
@gallowaygaming75 Yeah I know what you mean mate, a lot of consoles and handhelds from the 90s we're like that I remember, even my amiga too, pain in the ass when you just want to play the game lol
I bought one of these with the updated firmware and I love it so much I bought a second one, for when my grandchildren visit, the updated firmware appears to be very different to what is on yours. Mine came with an 850maH battery, which I changed for a 4200maH battery and it runs for many hours off a single charge now. I think the cost per Hours of play is fantastic and well worth the hair over £11 I paid from AliExpress including import charges. 👍
@@DigbertDayZ that's brilliant to hear mate glad you enjoy the console it's a great system for the price. I gave a friend mine and he enjoys it as well. Thanks for the comment it's always great to hear nice comments son appreciate it buddy 🙂👍
This one seemed promising, like you said, sound is off but I think it’s decent enough to fool around with on a road trip. I know there’s so many versions of these out there but, I feel like these companies need to do some QC especially on games like Fzero and DK. if they run well it should be the benchmark.
Totally agree buddy so many times I have tried f-zero on these type of consoles and they run slow. The pc engine emulator ran really well as did the megadrive and Gameboy variants so it was worth a cheap punt at it. Thanks for watching buddy 🙂👍
I really enjoy these handheld game reviews you do, mainly because I’m in the market for getting one for my son! I believe I asked you before, but which one do you feel provides the best performance for games (with minimal slowdown) and has a good selection of games to play?
If your ordering from Aliexpress the Anbernic RG35XX or the M17 console are pretty good Frank buddy I got them both for around £30 each and perform the best out of all the consoles I reviewed. Both have a big game choice with a variety of emulators and even have playstation 1 games on them. Hope that helps buddy 🙂👍
It kind of looks like they just slammed these games on here and didnt bother to test it. It has an excellent screen though just too bad these games seem to be choppy and running a bit slow. But im watching you play R Type and that looked just fine. Thanks for sharing this! I like seeing how these emulator pocket systems work 😊❤
Thanks Anthony mate the console cost £13 and well worth the money to play the pc engine games. Shame about the SNES emulator running badly though but nearly everything else runs fine. Thanks for watching Anthony mate 🙂👍
@@gallowaygaming75 as long as the emulator you bought it for works well thats all that matters. I cant figure out why the SNES emulator is having so many problems...those games always seemed pretty easy to emulate. Maybe they didnt put a decent SNES emulator on it? Anyway it seems like it was still well worth your money to purchase 😊
Give it Barrymore & i ain’t talking about the handheld 🤪It looks cheap & doesn’t play so smoothly on certain consoles but £13 it’s alright for a kid or to pass time in travel no doubt, you played plenty of games to do a good test. £13 thats a pair socks its mad they can make & sell for profit 🤷🏼
Hi, thanks for your review, can you tell me how the battery charging system of this console works? I noticed that when the battery is low and I put the console on charge I don't see any lights on, only after it is charged does the green light come on and consequently I disconnect the cable, is this correct? thanks
I Like the look of the handheld the black color looks smooth, looks verh similar to the data frog handheld emulation in terms of layout, for 13 pounds not too bad good review thanks for sharing mate 😊😊
Thanks raza buddy I like the pc engine emulator on it and megadrive works fine on it as well + it has great Gameboy games as well definitely worth £13 mate 🙂👍
It's too bad doom doesn't work cuz that game is pretty good. PC engine is that what arcade games used to run on? I purchased something kind of like this but it only has 300 games and nothing licensed. But a few weeks ago when Nintendo sued that emulated company I got nervous and my wife bought me an emulated console. it has 55,000 games add over 80 consoles. Pretty much owned every game that exists from PSP down. Came in very handy with 3DO games. But I'll be honest I wish I had that 6000 games on a handheld console than the crappy one that I got that only has 300 and none of them are good except for contra. Cool little system. Have you heard of the steam deck??
The emulator console your wife bought you sounds excellent buddy and yes I have seen the steam deck it looks an amazing console but very pricey. I think I have one of them consoles with the 300 games on and they all seem to be NES standard games but I do like contra and adventure island on it. Most of the emulator consoles I have got seem to struggle with SNES doom for some reason it's very hard to emulated. Thanks for watching buddy appreciate it 🙂👍
Well it doesn't look good on SNES and GBA but the fact it's £13 and is loaded with tons of games and MD & PCE work must make it a good buy, especially if the Famicom, GB and GBC works alright 👍
The SNES emulator is really the only one that runs bad James mate for £13 you get good value when playing the pc engine and Gameboy. Even mega drive works good in it thanks for watching mate 🙂👍
Very similar mate and at £10 it's a steal really. It's not an ideal console by all means with some games slowing down and some screen flicker but for the price it's pretty good.bthanks for watching buddy appreciate it 🙂👍
@@fierymoth4330 it lasts about 3 hours on a full.charge but takes about the same time to charge it fully. The only way to see if it's fully charged is to turn it on and see the battery meter on it. Hope.that helps my friend 👍
Yeah the snes emulation was pretty bad to be truthful but it has plenty of good games on it for the price I paid and the PC engine emulator is good on it 🙂👍
Wow, what kinda garbage they send you for £13... You know I last ordered something through AliExpress about 5 years ago.. it hasn't showed up yet.. if their shipping was slower, I swear, it would go backwards!
Tell you what, for £13 that's a steal. Even if the SNES was pushing it a little there's tons of gaming fun to be had. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks buddy it's worth £13 easily just to play the pc engine games and the megadrive+Gameboy emulators ran good as well. Thanks for watching mate 🙂🧉
For £13 that's not too bad! Also I realised for the first time today that your intro music is from Ridge Racer!

Nice Review ! 👍 I think the performance is like on the SF2000, it's good for pc-engine or gameboy games...
Totally agree mate it's really bad for SNES but seems to run most of the other stuff really well for a cheap console 🙂👍

Nice video Glen pitty about the overall sound quality for sure but glad lots of the older titles seemed to play well! Great price all the same.💸🕹🙌🍀
