  • Racing with the red Ferrari 512 in Sega's classic OutRunners arcade! The Ferarri is nicknamed the "Speed Buster." The in game music track is Speed King. It only made sense Sega would've brought a Ferrari back into the mix with OutRunners, as the original OuRun theme was of a guy and his girlfriend racing against the clock in a Ferrari. Be sure to check out our other OutRun racing videos!

I'm still an avid fan of the entire series, with OutRunners being my favorite of all! This game was a little less daunting and easier to play than the original Outrun titles. It also had the benefit of offering 8 different vehicles to race with, each having their own unique handling characteristics. We've covered 7 of the 8 vehicles so far, just one more to go!
Then there's the Mega Drive version, which had a bunch of other unique vehicles that the arcade version didn't feature. May cover that one as well at a later time.

I think its mostly 3d or some sort of mode 7? Because I'm watching the benches and the move 3d

The 3D effect is really a result of the parallax scrolling. The moving layers of graphics overlapping one another produce the sort of pseudo 3D effects seen in the game.

Do you play as Jimmy Kielbasa and Kevin Marley from Jimmy on Ferrari Testarossa as Speed Buster? Oh, that really is perfect, but okay. See you later.
