While your trees with their leaves still on are beautiful in the snow, as a Canadian I know that trees are often damaged by heavy snow (i.e., snow that falls when it's mild). Trunks split and limbs fall, especially on young trees, which aren't strong enough to hold the weight of "packing (snowman appropriate) snow". Take your photos but them consider knocking the snow off to give your saplings a chance. You give me crafty thoughts (as always) Anna. Thanks for sharing.
LOVE your Sciolari chandelier. I bought a Sciolari on eBay from Italy (I live in Los Angeles) years and years ago for my dining room. It's silver and crystal and one of my favorite purchases. Enjoy!

One thing I didn’t really notice until your Swedish designer friends mentioned it, but now really stands out. You don’t really use textiles much, rugs, blinds, curtains etc. It seems like deciding on a few big pieces would warm up the rooms quite a bit
I think rugs make a huge difference to rooms as they add texture and warmth, especially on wooden floors. And they need to be large enough to fit the scale of the room as many people buy them too small.
I always design my rooms around the rugs. I fill the rooms up with eclectic pieces that pick up on the colors or shapes. Everything looks much better when the walls and floors coordinate.
I LOVE the chandelier!! And the beautiful snow ❄️ I miss too. I live in San Antonio Texas and snow is very very rare. I used to decorate with fresh natural elements, because I used to live in the mountains around Seattle Washington. Anna’s decorations are beautiful.

Chopping wood followed by carrying the wood over a lovely lawn into the beautiful chateau. Giving the appearance of ease and tranquility in a rural France setting. I haven't had to chop the wood but as a child told to go get wood from the wood shed, it is cold, I would look for spiders and for some reason it was always night just to add to my dislike of carrying wood.

From South Carolina, USA. I use the spices with half a gallon of apple cider, half gallon of apple juice and a cup of orange juice. Mix together with spices store in fridge and heat up a cup whenever you want a delicious drink. Enjoy your videos so much also your trips! Thanks for sharing!

Yes rugs help with the acoustics to take away the echo of large rooms with wooden floors.
