Just got this info about the DX6 and it's VTX setup SpektrumRC Hello Bear, This menu is something that is there but is not implemented on any products that are currently out at this time. It is a function that uses the serial connection from the RX to the VTx to change parameters such as channel, band and power. It will work with the Vortex 150 and Tramp VTX once they ship later this month. And we are working with a number of vendors to start using the protocol. So hopefully soon we will have more VTx companies on board. Once the Vortex 150 hits the market we will do a more in depth manual/video tutorial explaining the function. Thanks!
Awesome video!!! Looking at this radio to replace the RTR radio for my Kyosho Blizzard (accidently threw it away), for my air boat and a 4WD steer Wraith. Have you tried this radio on any surface applications?

Tras ahorrar durante 7 meses para la compra de un buen control remoto, tiempo durante el cual investigue que equipo era el mejor, me decidí por el Spektrum DX6e. Luego de un mes utilizando mi DX6e, espesó a presentar problemas con la señal, dado que tengo 5 drones de diferentes tamaños, y todos se caen a 10-15 metros de distancia al control remoto. Pensando que eran los receptores, cambie 3 de ellos, pero igual perdían señal a los 10 metros. Seguíi algunos tutoriales descartando otros problemas como variación en las baterías de alimentación, interferencias por antenas de comunicación y antenas tanto del radio como del receptor. Al parecer el del problema es el RF X1TXP, alguna idea o luz como repararlo o donde puedo encontrar un repuesto de este modulo. La verdad algo desilusionado de Spektrum
Been looking for more info on the VTX settings but the manual don't show it and Spektrum support is kinda slow on letting anyone know how it works or placing a video out . I think it works like the LeForge VTX setup and there remote to change the Band and Channel along with power output . Im just switching over some of my crafts to Spektrum and finding lot of new things out from just a few years back. Im a Frsky Taranis person myself cause i love to screen and ease of seting up things along with the voice readouts .. Nice video by the way.
Hi friend, nice video. I have a really big problem I think. Last time when I meet a "instructor" to fly my apprentice plane for the first time, we linked the transmitter using the trainer port, my DXe spektrum did not work at all. I am new with this, but the instructor evidently, seemed he did not what he was doing. My DXe stop working , it went off. I tried to turn ON , it turned on, it beeps few times , then continue beeping constantly. The transmitter is unresponsive, I can not bind back to the plane, it continuously beeping. I tried to use with a simulator and everything works except for I can not control the speed , I can take off but no landing because is at high speed all the time( thaks god is with the simulator). I read that the throttle might be bad , hope not.I totally lost. I have not contact Horizon yet. The store from where I bought they don't what could be, they say , never seen that before, Please advise

This is my first Transmitter too, love it. I wonder if anyone have any setup file to share with me, need to setup my Timber x on it...hoping anyone could help me with programming, I am kind of new...thanks
as a beginner to helis can someone tell me if the less expensive Spektrum DX6e radio will be good enough to fly some of the newer Blade BNF model helis?....what are the major differences between the DX6 and the DX6e? thanks
how do you like it so far...and do you find the Tx battery life is too short...because that seems to be a major complaint that I have read about with this model....

Would you say the build quality and range is on par with the rest of the black dx line? Dx6, dx8, etc!

I bought a dx6e about 2 weeks ago and have it binded to a 200srx and a blade inductrix.

I just picked up a secondhand DX6E in mint condition for $87.
I got super lucky haha.
You know what's not cool? Using my DX6e less than a dozen times and having the power button fail causing my drone to fall out of the sky.
