Thank you very much for that and I do appreciate it and it was a great help. Your part 2 was a good for those that dont use gyro but this was great. Thanks and I liked and sub to your channel Eddie and Im Joe and if I missed something on your part 2 on why it wont help me about gyro then let me know bud. Thanks again👍👍👍👍👍
Nice video but you forgot to point out that the Spektrum PC Programmer has also been updated to v3.9 dated 07-18-2024. Previous versions MAY NOT update your receivers properly.
No this update does not give you additional channels to the receiver. There is an update for appropriate radios that does increase the number of channels of the radio.
@@eddieksrc Yes. I saw the NX and IX series Txs get the high channel count, 20 or so. I only have the DX so I guess I'll have to upgrade to an NX if I want the extra channels.
Could you immediately go fly after this update (in other words does it keep all your old settings) or do you have to run through the setup again as if you just installed a brand new receiver?
To access all the new AS3X+ features you need to factory reset the receiver in forward programming and then set up AS3X+ in your radio. I will post up a video on how I did that very soon.
So it's a CONFUSION, in some tutorials and about this "UPDATE", some say one thing and others say another thing!!! Some, after the "update", choose "USE DEVICE SETTINGS", others choose "USE COMPUTER SETTINGS"!!!! AFTER ALL WHAT IS IT?????
Thanks for this video and the part 2 video. They are very clear and simple. Best 2 videos I have found. I feel a lot better doing this now.
I wasn't aware of such update! Thank you Eddie! Keep it up!
Thank you for the comment!
Hey Eddie, fantastic video of the receiver update! Look forward to the next video! Thumbs up!
Thanks for the comment…
Good job Eddie, I updated today per your video. Thanks man!
I think you will like it. AS3X+ is rock solid!
@@eddieksrc Holy cow! Just flew my F-35 on the new update. I hated this plane until now. So crisp! Thanks again Eddie.
Great video, thanks!!
Thank you so much!
Great Job Ed! Maybe Spektrum should hire you to make their videos.
@@afterburnerrc6333 Haaa… thanks… I’m afraid we are all beta testers most of the time…

Good video. Thanks. Does the new Rx Version 3 enabling AS3X+ give your Rxs additional channels, or just new features?

@@eddieksrc And your Tx must also be updated to at least SW Version 2.10 to take advantage of the AS3X+ new features.
