Kerala Paratha doesn't go with sadya. It will taste bland. Paratha can only go with veg curry or non veg curry. That Paratha is not authentic Kerala Paratha though. Kerala Paratha is very stringly, soft, fluffy. It shud never be brown or crispy flat

Im from kerala. I dont like eating in banana leaf. It has a reason. We all do that idiotic thing before and regret. Reason 1 - Banana leaf has no medicinal value. Reason 2 - Banana leaf absorb water from surface of table. That means you are eating on a table directly in contact with many others eatings even if its cleaned. Why its used widely. 1. Availability of leaf 2. It need not to be cleaned with water after use its burried. So its a use and throw material.
South indian khana kafi teekha hota.hai. Mostly log coconut oil use karte hai. Jitane bhi world me south ki jagah hai jaise south China, south France, south italy etc waha garmi jyada hoti. Toh log teekha or mirchi wala khana khate taki unko pasina jyada aaye taki unki body cool thandi rahen.

Puli inji is a chutney of tamarind jaggery and ginger and the name literally translates as tamarind ginger . Thoran Olan , Avial , Ezhicherry ,Kalan ,are all vegetable curries with a cocoanut gravy as base with different spices . Rice used in Kerala is boiled unpolished rice which is very healthy . Adapradman is rice kheer with sugar and brown kheer is made of cocoanut milk and jaggery .and this is known as payasam . Dont worry - India is so very large & diverse in language, culture, cuisine, dress, living, climate etc that one has never heard or familiar with names from one end to another esp North East. Reason 1 - Banana leaf has no medicinal value.
Reason 2 - Banana leaf absorb water from surface of table. That means you are eating on a table directly in contact with many others eatings even if its cleaned.
Why its used widely.
1. Availability of leaf
2. It need not to be cleaned with water after use its burried. So its a use and throw material.
South indian khana kafi teekha hota.hai. Mostly log coconut oil use karte hai. Jitane bhi world me south ki jagah hai jaise south China, south France, south italy etc waha garmi jyada hoti. Toh log teekha or mirchi wala khana khate taki unko pasina jyada aaye taki unki body cool thandi rahen.
