"Basically one pro bowl receiver." How many teams in the league start/play 2 pro bowl receivers? Jayden has weapons, including in the backfield. He's really good.
Amazing play and everything. I did say before the season started that bears were by far worse than Washington. From coaching, to o-line, to schemes, bears just don’t have that offense yet. Check the Arizona State films, they’re not locked up. You sound silly when you say he never had a 50 yard air pass in college. He did it as an 18 year old freshman vs. the Chargers quarterback. Must of been asleep.
He didn’t. His longest air yards pass was 39 according to stats. I never watched his college games but he is a dynamic athlete though. 600+ total yards in one game is Madden stats and they were against an SEC rival at that.
Daniels has an effortless, flick of the wrist passing style. Washington deserves some good luck after living through 20 years of Dan Snyder's buffoonery.
What's so funny is that there are alot of folks that said Jayden wouldn't carry on his game to the NFL. Some said he shouldn't had won Heisman. Some said he is overrated. It's still early, but for anybody thinking he not gonna be fine in the NFL is borderline hating. He gotta arm and he can run.
Right, and now all of a sudden that same defense that held the best in the league to his worst statistical game ever is trash. You can’t have it both ways.
The best part was the Bengals were losing the whole game yet anytime they caught a pass or scored a touchdown. The players acted like they just won the Super Bowl. 😂
People were questioning the Washington offensive line before the season! Don’t let it fool you, Jayden is just better and playing better. Kliff Kingsbury has insulated him and designed an offense that fits him and the talent on the team, not the other way around.
Slow down, Eberflus is the common denominator. He ruined Justin Fields and is now setting Caleb back. Jayden Daniels in better fit/situation coaching wise
The hypocrisy is crazy. Suddenly Washington has the best roster and situation? There were people saying Chicago was the best situation for a rookie qb ever.
Chicago went out and got a bunch of offensive skill guys for Caleb. Moore, Odunze, Swift. The Commanders were in worst shape than Chicago in 2023. It’s crazy to say Daniels has a better surrounding cast. Maybe Jayden is better?
Just think about Jared Goff vs Carson Wentz. Everyone was saying Wentz was better and Goff was a bust. Look where they are now. As a Bears fan that's what I need to remind myself about Caleb and he just needs time.

Let's keep this same energy if he has a bad game...watch the pundits flip flop if he struggles during his ROOKIE season. The hyperbole is ridiculous. He played a great game, let's just enjoy it and take a deep breath.
Jayden is the only rookie QB that hasn’t turned the ball over yet…and this guy just broke the completion percentage record!
The cameraman's reaction @4:57 says it all 🤣
Daniels is super talented AND has some protection and better NFL coaching than Caleb. His accuracy is amazing! Caleb will be okay. His numbers are decent (- turnovers). Caleb has good receivers too… but he’s still behind pretty much the same Oline as Justin Fields. That is a problem.
Jeff Saturday really said their a better situation in Washington the guys on something 😂
WHAT????? NOW THEY SAY “Jayden has a better supporting cast”??? All off season it was the bears who had the best situation for a rookie according to pundits
The Bengals definitely need to fire their defensive coordinator after a rookie qb served them in their own house😂
He's not a normal rookie
@@notvinny3369 ok
*Stats To Digest: Rookie QB's who started more than 3 years in college have more playing time and have more experience advantage coming into the NFL*
1) Michael Penix Jr. - 6 years in college ---- started 48 games
2) Jayden Daniels - 5 years in college ---- started 55 games
3) Bo Nix - 5 years in college ---- started 48 games
4) Spencer Rattler - 5 years in college ----- started 48 games
4) Caleb Williams - 3 years in college ---- started 37 games
5) Drake Maye - 3 years in college ---- started 30 games
*Michael Penix Jr, Jayden Daniels, Bo Nix and Spencer Rattler are all college veterans, they should come into the NFL and adapt much quicker.*
I think along with Jayden’s experience with how many games played I think it also helps that he played in the SEC which to me gave him a chance to play much better defenses than what Caleb regularly went against
"It was Washington's first game with no punts and no turnovers...since 1940!"
Wrong. It was Washington's first game with no punts and no turnovers...since last week lol.
It was the first NFL game with no punts or turnovers, by both teams, since 1940
Scouring the interwebs to hear yall glaze JD5, he is the truth!
JD is doing this with the worst defense in the league btw. Bears have way better talent than us😂. These analysts dont know anything
Bears have a top 5 defense. Wash has a bottom 2 or 3. Offensive weapons obviously goes to bears and bears oline was better rated than Washington’s. So saying Jayden has a better set up now is ridiculous. He’s just simply playing better.
Bruh I love this for Washington 🙂😄
ASU fan here good to see Jayden starting out hot. I know most think of him as LSU QB But I knew he was going to do well as a Freshman starter for ASU. Had it not been for Covid shortening the season and Coach Herm Edwards investigations I think he would have stayed. But good to see him doing well
Black quarterbacks are taking over...Black Power
Being black has nothing to do with anything.
ESPEN IS WRONG HERE. It was the first game played aince 1940 that NEITHER team punted or turned the ball over. WASHINGTON MADE NFL HISTORY BY BEING THE FIRST TEAM TO SCORE ON EVERY DRIVE WITH NO PUNTS OR TURNOVERS IN BACK TO BACK GAMES.
Bengals offense was cooking our defense would’ve lost to a high school team playing like that last night gonna be a long season for us bengals fan but that Jayden Daniel’s is SPECIAL!!
Bears done f’d up AGAIN…… that’s crazy
Caleb just threw for 300+ Sunday Chicago cant run the ball they are poorly coached etc these will be two very good qbs
Real dawg
I hope Daniel’s continues to develop and not let the is game be a one game sensation. This is coming from a die hard Cowboy fan
Some seemingly bonkers results in the first 3 weeks so far. Good for Jayden and inadvertently ratchets the pressure up on Caleb.
I knew we was finna be the talk of the town
Tee gonna look good in the Burgundy & Gold
GOOD RAIN SPORTS CONSULTING FIRM headquarters based in New Orleans
Purdy did the exact same play to Kittle last season and didn't get anywhere near the amount of credit lol.
Fire Zac Taylor!
Zac taylor definitely needs to be fired cincy has too much talent to be this ill- prepared all the time
Jayden daniels is so much better than Caleb’ Williams. That’s 2 years In a row where these “analysts” swore we had can’t miss prospects in young and Williams.. these analysts are just foolish. Give booger McFarland credit he said Jayden would be better this season.
It's been 2 games lol
@@xcwilliams7980 the eye test is all u need. Jayden daniels sits in the pocket like a vet Caleb Williams tries to be Superman every play and he don’t have to be. Jayden daniels is better period. Deal with it
@@yungjoka5962Jayden has a pocket to sit in goofy, Caleb literally running for his life soon as the ball is snapped not to mention he has no help from the run game. Regardless by seasons end there will be no questions who the best qb out this bunch is and that’s Caleb. Enjoy this 1 game 🤣
@@LuisGarcia-wq7ih brother I watch the games too, Caleb Williams leaves the pocket unnecessarily too much and than chucks it 70 yards over his receivers head. I don’t wanna hear ab “situation” the bears have ELITE skill players
@@yungjoka5962 he does overthrows receivers not gonna lie or so it appears but what you fail to realize is it’s just a timing issue on most of the throws. He anticipates his throws and throws the receiver open. Jayden ain’t no Caleb 💯
GOOD RAIN ENTlLC
Pump the brakes! This is just the 3rd game.
The Bears issue is not the quarterback exclusively. We couldn’t protect an old lady crossing the street, man!!!! We have no O-line or running game.
And whose fault is that? Every draft, scouts and fans agree on the idiotic take that no lineman stand out
I remember people were saying Jayden was only successful at LSU, because he had great receivers, like Nabers & Co, so they made him look good. Now, he's on the Commanders, with basically one pro-bowl receiver, and doing big things. Never take these analysts seriously. They always over rate players.
"Basically one pro bowl receiver." How many teams in the league start/play 2 pro bowl receivers? Jayden has weapons, including in the backfield. He's really good.
They had a great training camp. To play like this
Amazing play and everything. I did say before the season started that bears were by far worse than Washington. From coaching, to o-line, to schemes, bears just don’t have that offense yet. Follow that up with Daniel’s having a higher football IQ, i assumed it wouldn’t be close. Caleb has a lot of potential but he should have sat for a year behind someone first.
Disagree… Williams is in a better situation by far then daniels
Better WRs
Better rb
Better TE
Same o-line
Better defense
Williams holds onto the ball too long.. not everything is a broken play like it was in college
Daniels is quick.. puts in all the extra work and runs better.. he is making the run game work.. run game isn’t helping him.. he helps the run
I screamed to the top of my lungs since last year told people Daniels was the best QB in this draft💯
Check the Arizona State films, they’re not locked up. You sound silly when you say he never had a 50 yard air pass in college. He did it as an 18 year old freshman vs. the Chargers quarterback. Must of been asleep.
he didnt have a 50 yard air pass his heisman year at lsu. thomas and nabers got a lot of YAC, but i agree Daniels was definitely ready for the moment
@@kam_12_ He definitely did. I'm an LSU fan who watched every game that year.
@@kam_12_ there's readily available film of every TD he threw at LSU on YT.
Another LSU fan here- call me a homer but I think JD threw the prettiest deep ball in the ‘24 class
I can’t wait for Michael Penix
That is a good take "This is a NFL defense that Patrick Mahomes had trouble with last week" I haven't thought about it like that. This is true.
Burrow look like he's in Tears
91.3% Completion 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Yall bout put some respect on Washington now!!!
Chicago has a great supporting system around him he got like 3 #1 Wrs but I think both Qbs going to be good
Slow down, Eberflus is the common denominator. He ruined Justin Fields and is now setting Caleb back. Jayden Daniels in better fit/situation coaching wise
He's got to go. Him and Getsy.
Actually the Bears organization is the common denominator. Look at our QB history.
Bengals' HC play caller doesn't exude much confidence in red zone when he prefaces each call with "Let's try" to Burrows.
Just think about Jared Goff vs Carson Wentz. Everyone was saying Wentz was better and Goff was a bust. Look where they are now. As a Bears fan that's what I need to remind myself about Caleb and he just needs time.
When I told everyone that JD5 would be the best QB in this draft, people laughed at me. I said he was Lamar with a better arm, and no one believed me. Them LSU boys are different. I watched him week in and week out and knew what he was capable of. He had just as good of a season as Burrow had his last year, but he also was able to run. Washington got themselves another Lamar.
