ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED. FAITH IN JESUS FINISHED WORK ALONE, SAVES ONCE AND FOR ALL. Romans 4:5 | KJV But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Romans 1:17 | KJV For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. Philippians 3:9 | KJV And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: Romans 9:30 | KJV What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith. Romans 4:3 | KJV For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. Romans 3:25 | KJV Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; Romans 10:3 | KJV For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. The True Gospel of Grace! (Good news)✨ [1 Corinthians 15:1-4]🎉 Jesus Christ shed His blood for ALL of our sins past, present, and future. He was buried, resurrected and rose again on the third day, according to the scriptures. We are saved by Grace through Faith in Jesus Christ Alone, not of our works, so nobody can boast! It is Amazing Grace, something we did not and cannot earn, and something we do not deserve. God gave His only begotten son, (uniquely born of God, eternally existing before His human birth) that whosoever (anyone) believes in Him, shall not perish, but have eternal life. How to be saved? 1. Admit you are a sinner, in need of the saviour, Jesus Christ. 2. The moment you put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ alone to save you from death, you are sealed until the day of redemption. You are protected, cannot lose your salvation, justified by the blood of Christ, and Rapture Ready! (which is going to happen at any moment!) 3. Your Faith is counted for righteousness! The Holy Spirit will indwell in you, lead you, guide you, minister to you, encourage you, speak to you, teach you and change you - if you let Him! TODAY is the day of Salvation! Trust Jesus Christ Today! Amen and God bless❤️
I must inform you that this is inaccurate. Most of what is said is correct but when you say that we can never walk away once we are saved that is not true. Did we somehow lose our free will? Mark 4:17 talks about endure for a while. That clearly shows it is talking about being saved. Then they become unsaved. How? By choosing to sin instead of obeying God. Just like Esau sold his birthright we can “sell” our birthright for sin.
@@garyhutchison99 it’s not inaccurate, it’s the truth. A believer may fall, they may be beguiled into a decision to sin or even walk away from the faith but the born again by grace through faith in Jesus finished work, have been sealed until the day of redemption, their position is secure and salvation cannot be lost. If you think you can lose it, you think you are doing something along with Jesus already finished work to keep it. Faith alone saves once and for all to those who believe it. John 6:47, Ephesians 4:30, Romans 8:38-39. (KJV) 2 Timothy 3:7 | KJV Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth 2 Timothy 2:15 | KJV Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
No Pastor that exists can explain the scriptures that speak of not inheriting the kingdom of God, again by Paul in three books. 1 Cor 6: 9-11, Gal 5: 18-21 and Eph 5: 3-5. You can lose your salvation. 1 John 1:7 further clarifies this stance, "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin". I don't know about you, but I do not mess around with my salvation. Stay on the safe side, walk in the light and do not drift.
I’m a born again believer. I started to sin again and eventually I realized that I no longer had the joy of the Lord, one of the fruits of the Spirit. I was worried that I had lost my salvation because I had been sinning too much. I became more and more worried and I kept praying and asking God to forgive me. It took lots of praying before I received the answer. One time while I was praying, this message just popped into my head. There’s nothing you can do to save yourself, therefore there’s nothing you can do to unsave yourself. You were saved by Grace. The devil still tries to put doubts in my mind, but greater is He that is in me, than he that is in the world. Keep reading the Bible, when Satan was tempting Jesus, Jesus just quoted scripture.
I had a similar experience and was depressed for like 4 months believing the lie that I lost my salvation. I never was beating down so bad.....until I had let everything go and trust God and not trust myself to keep it( which Noone can). We are saved by grace through faith and that faith is in Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross. He gladly died for my sins was buried and rose again on the 3rd day 😊. Thank and praise!!!!! God 😁🙂
I keep re reading what salvation is. You ask Jesus to be LORD and Savior of your life. He paid the price for our sins and saves us if we invite him into our hearts and profess with our mouths that he is the son of God and died and rose again in victory Amen. But we seem to forget the first part ie Lord of our lives. The disciples didn't just believe in Jesus and continue to live their lives separate from him. They followed and continued to work for the Kingdom after Jesus returned to the Father. We as Christians must pick up our cross daily, deny the world and our fleshly desires and continue to work for the Kingdom to the glory of God and Christ Jesus. Willfully sinning and refusing to live the Christian life will only dirty us up and create barriers to our relationship with God which is satans plan for an ineffective fisher of men.
Amen! I’ve been through many seasons where I thought, that’s it ! I blew it there is no way I am going to heaven! Then I realized that God wouldn’t give me eternal life and then be like you know what, I change my mind.
@@davidronneberg2643If a man who was once saved and on the Lord's side decides to walk away from the LORD, indulge in sin and live an unrepentant lifestyle, if that person dies, where do you think he or she would end up? Do you think God would throw a party to welcome an unrepentant sinner? We may slip and get back up, that doesn't mean we have been excommunicated, however the one who sins after coming to the saving knowledge of Jesus, and never looks(repentance) back will surely be on his way to the other side of the divide if he dies before repentance.
Romans 11:22 says it all!!! …..IF you continue in His goodness, otherwise you also WILL BE CUT OFF! We were grafted in and CAN BE grafted out… No, I can’t “lose” my salvation, but I CAN forfeit it…when I surrendered my life to The Lord, He didn’t revoke my FREE WILL….. I still have it and I MUST PICK UP MY CROSS DAILY and follow Him…it’s MY CHOICE!!!
@johnnichols9190 For these, judgment will be worse than those of Sodom. If a graft is not suitable, it will not grow and produce fruit. Like a seed dropped on a stone.
Nothing created can cast you out of Jesus' hand. Were you a created? Then you can't mess this up, but you may not be walking with Him which is sad. Enjoy His love ❤️ by just talking to Him
We are the only religion in the world that has an assurance of salvation, and that is not based on our works or character which can be sinful or flawed, but on God's work and God's character which is perfect forever. Praise God for His great mercy on us that He would give us such a gift!
True Christianity is not a religion ,its a personal relationship with the living savior and Lord Jesus Christ . Religion is a man-made institution mainly to make money !
It’s not a religion. No such thing. It has to be a relationship with God. Doing what God says isn’t a religion, and salvation can be lost. The helmet of salvation means your mind is secure from the lies of losing it, you don’t have to be afraid. However you can remove the helmet of salvation and lose its protection. Sinning and living in sin are 2 different things. Sin is sin but iniquity is much higher it’s being rebellious and disobedient to the point that you walk away from mercy and grace. Workers of iniquity or unrighteousness will not inherit the kingdom of heaven. It goes on to say idolaters whoremongers fornicators adulterers etc … sin is small, transgressions are medium, iniquity is large. God will not allow you into heaven because there will simply be a repeat … Lucifer made perfect had no reason to sin to rebel and he did. Adam and Eve made perfect had 1 commandment to follow and no reason to sin and they did. What do you think will happen if you are rebellious and are allowed to go into heaven who are not perfect? Think about that. As a so called Christian I HATE SIN & DECEPTION I literally cannot stand it. Why would I engage in what I hate? I don’t because I know the damage to myself and others. Do I sin? Yes be abuse I’m not perfect but I don’t do it willfully. I’m not performing iniquity. Sin and iniquity are totally different. Lucifer did not just sin he performed iniquity! If I’m walking in a white robe I may get specks of filth on my robe inadvertently. Iniquity would be to wallow in mud. No restraint. To justify my sin. Big difference from one who treads carefully with specks of mud to one who embraces it and wallows in mud like a pig. It has to do with mind set and posture of heart. If I were walking you could immediately see my white robe it would stand out against a muddy brown field. The one that wallows in it you would not see because he would blend in with his environment. Simple. There’s NO SUCH THING AS RELIGION IN GODS EYES THERES NO SUCH THING AS A SO CALLED CHRISTIAN IN GODS EYES. You are either under covenant by the blood of Jesus and under submission and obedience or not. Simple.
The more I become aware of how hideous my sin is the more amazing God’s grace, demonstrated through the offer of His Son, the Lamb of God, in my place becomes to me. The truly staggering part of His grace is that He knew that He was going to have to redeem me before creation, before He spoke anything into existence.
This is a very good sermon as many needed this. Stay in God's Holy Word and pray for wisdom to understand what we are being told in the Holy Word. Thank God Almighty I am Saved in Jesus Christ my Lord and my Savior. Amen!!!
AAAAMMMMEEEENNNN, @Alice-frief!!! Praise my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Who saved my wicked, immortal soul nearly 46 years ago! Among the TRUE believers IN Christ are the FALSE people who have NEVER been regenerated, and are professors only, NOT possessors! The LORD knows those who are HIS!!! Those are the ones Jesus will say, "Depart from Me, I NEVER KNEW YOU!", for Satan and his demons will be given supernatural powers by the Lord to perform miracles, signs and wonders, that, IF it were possible, they could fool even the very elect saints who are living on earth during the days of the Tribulation!
We have obeyed the Gospel when we have believed, John 6:40. When we are born again by grace through faith, we are sealed until the day of redemption, Ephesians 4:30: doesn’t matter if you get dementia or the devil tricks you into leaving the faith, you are sealed by God. If you think you are more powerful than God to unseal yourself, you are trusting in what you do to keep it: even keeping the faith and continuing to believe is trusting in what you do to keep it.
Jesus work is finished. We should live holy, it is not a requirement to be saved. Ephesians 2:8-10. If you must do anything more than receive the gift by faith once, it is no longer a gift. Many have believed and then fallen for a false works Gospel. These shall be saved. But those who have never trusted on Jesus finished work alone, and have always trusted in something else also to keep, maintain and prove salvation, those will not be saved.
Those who are called into the ministry need to rightly divide the word of God a workman unashamed. This is not required in bible college. Those being shepherded do not need to rightly divide the word of God. Many denominations today wrongly believe that everyone is called into the ministry. These denominations are producing nothing but teachers with itching ears. They are not called by God.
@@markwillhite9200 that is 100% correct, the only problem with your argument is ALL Christians are called into the full time ministry whether they know it or not. Each of us has a personal testimony and a responsibility to share it when and where God calls us to it, we also have a responsibility to live every single moment of every single day FOR CHRIST, so your argument that ‘regular joes’ in Christianity do not need to rightly divide the word is myopic and immature.
Praise the Lord God for His precious mercy and His love. Pray daily, read your Bible and put every ounce of trust you have in the Lord and walk with Jesus all the way home 💖🙏🙏❤️❤️
@@lushensutherland6302 Well, Paul also talks about remaining faithful to the faith and he even turned two over to the devil for leaving the faith. Oooppps!!!! That destroys your false narrative. Paul also talked about establishing and defending sound doctrine, that false doctrine destroys us. Those who stray from the faith, ie: the Galatians, are self condemned. They have no faith at all.
““I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.” John 15:1-6 NKJV
John 6:37-40 “37All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. 38For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. 39And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. 40And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.” If you are given to Christ by the Father then you can’t leave. If you imply that you can leave then that logically follows that Jesus failed to do The Father’s will, which is impossible. Those who leave never belonged to Christ and they were never given to Christ by The Father. There is no logical way around this fact.

No... while you've got a heartbeat and breath in your lungs, there's a way back to God. I know because I spent 3 years in near isolation "cut off" from God and man. The earth was iron, and the sky was bronze... My mind was as dead as a stone. Except when my bed span or hideous visions of not at all godly things. In the end, I decided to fast. (Well, I ate a cheese roll and an apple at 6.00pm every day for forty days). And I prayed, "while there's breath in these lungs and a heart pumping blood, I'm going to pray for forgiveness and for You to help me." If at the end of that time He didn't speak to me, I was going to end my life. What was the point of living? That was 20 years ago 😂 hallelujah!!! God never gives up on us... but He can withdraw. The Puritans called it "Spiritual Desertions." I found out many years later. Blessings to you 🙏

Salvation can never be lost once God has given it to you but why should we abuse the grace of God and the love he has shown us so amazing is he thank you Lord for saving us wretches who put their faith in you
It is always termed "lose your salvation". No you can't lose your salivation. It's not like your car keys. But you can chose to turn your back, abandon the faith and return to sin.
@@Rad7272dad "Or you were never saved to begin with!" That is always thrown up. " "lose your salvation? Or you can give your salvation back" Neither. The Bible tells us that when a person is truly saved they will have a transformation. They will be a changed person. I have seen people who have had that transformative encounter with Jesus. Who walked as Christians for years then turned their back on God and returned to the world and buried themselves in sin. No you can't "lose your salvation". But like if I gave you a car, you could drive it happily for years, then one day abandon it on the side of the road. You haven't lost it and it has not been taken away. You abandoned it. 1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons,
@@thededicatedbiker so God changes us into a new person for what reason if we can simply change back? A truly regenerated soul won't change, although they may "prodigal son" for a while. None of us know each other's hearts and so the people you say were transformed and feel away, even though they looked the part, you can't say for certain if they were saved, be honest, Judas filled those closet to himself, except Jesus. I am not certain on this topic. I'm thinking why can't it be both, in the Old Testament, God chose only Isreal, why? Yet others were allowed to join with Israel and follow Him. "Many are called, yet few are chosen". ( taken out of context possibly) But I can see that their are those that are elected( gentiles) the reformed ones, and then the rest of the world have a choice. Because both have biblical truths to their positions, and after years of (on again off again study) I find it hard to say which is correct. Many good Christians on either side/belief.
John 6:37-40, as well as John 10:29, and others, have been perverted and made to teach that no follower of Christ can fall away. The fact that this view is a lie is shown by many passages. We are exhorted thus: Hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. Rev. 3:11. We are told also that He that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. Matt. 24:13. For a positive testimony, see Heb. 6:4-6. Our Lord says also: If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. John 15:6. See also Rev. 4:2-5; 3:16.
Please ignore the comment by watchmanofthenight2700. It's amazing how he took clear verses out of context. Scripture doesn't contradict scripture, therefore it's the reader who has to be wrong. For instance, he quotes Matthew 24:13. But in that whole chapter, Jesus is speaking to the Jews who will be going through the 7 year tribulation period. He's talking about the persecution they'll be going through. It was taken completely out of context! Again, scripture doesn't contradict itself. Take the time to read all of Ephesians 1, Ephesians 2:4-10, Psalms 3:8, Acts 16:31, and John 3:16 to name just a few. Then thank God for what He's done for you and tell Satan that you rebuke his lies. God bless you.
Jude 4 4 I say this because some ungodly people have wormed their way into your churches, saying that God’s marvelous grace allows us to live immoral lives. The condemnation of such people was recorded long ago, for they have denied our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ. I wish OSAS were true it’s a very comforting idea. But the simple truth of the matter is it’s false.
I know if we believe and obey the gospel we are saved, but we need to fear God and depart from evil. It's not taking advantage of God's grace and living any way we want to. It's carrying your cross daily as Jesus said. But at the same time, we can't be good enough to be saved, JESUS saves us.
You can't obey the gospel as that is the message of the good news which is a belief, I think what you meant to say is that we obey his ways and teachings.
Paraphrasing from *GlassHouse TV* : You can’t lose your salvation but you can forfeit it. Apostasy: Willingly choosing to leave the faith is described in Heb 3:12, Heb 6:1-8, and 1 Tim 4:1-3.
You arent forfeiting it per se. You never had it. The parable of the sower shows us 3 ways to the same destination and 1 way to God. 1 John 2:19 (KJV) They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
Thank you John Henry!! This was enlightening. I know that so many Christians have this question. Now we just need to convince the Cambellites and Calvinists and so many others for that matter. Thanks for what you do. God bless you and yours! 😀✝️
I think the word accept should be used in a lot of situations because it clearly shows the difference between what we think believe means because Satan and the fallen angels know there is a God but they don't accept meaning reject but also believe there is a God......
Those who believe still sin, all sin is wilful. Jesus work is finished. We should live holy, it is not a requirement to be saved. Ephesians 2:8-10. @@Covelio “we should live holy, it is not required to be saved” then you haven’t read your Bible as a whole; Hebrews 10:26 “For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins” the Bible says if you continue to stay in your sin willingly you will not be saved. The Bible also says if you love me you will keep my commandments. It also says faith without works is dead and it says you will know they are my people by their fruits (meaning you will live a godly life not a worldly life). You should read your Bible as a whole instead of trying to tell others things you don’t understand.
@@C_o_grace “faith without works is dead” is not about salvation, it’s about being of benefit to others thru works. 1 John 3:23 “And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.” Hebrews 10 is about the uselessness of carrying out of animal sacrifices to atone for sin when Jesus already offered the one-time sacrifice for sin. Salvation can never be lost, otherwise it didn’t come from God and you were never really saved. You can’t add individual righteousness to Salvation, that’s for the purpose of witnessing to others about the gospel. And also, have you stopped sinning completely?? Living holy is encouraged, but is not a requirement for salvation.

IF, and that is the word to focus on, you have accepted the free gift of Christ by believing in His finished work on the cross then you can't lose it, maybe it would be better understood as you won't be able to not continue with the power of the Holy Spirit in the sanctification process if you have submitted to His power already.

AAAMMMEEENNN, dear Pastor Voddie and my dear Bro John Henry! Among us TRUE regenerate believers of this magnificent DISPENSATION OF THE GRACE OF GOD (Ephesians 3:1 - 9 KJV), there are many FALSE people who are PROFESSORS but not TRUE PROSSESSORS mingled among the children of God! True believers IN Christ are sealed by God the Holy Spirit and have NO desire to turn back anyway! Jesus Christ knows those who are HIS!!! The RIGHT GOSPEL must be preached and believed!
There are too many Scriptures that clearly answer this question. It’s amazing how people use human arguments with this. John 10 is referenced but amazingly he doesn’t include the condition “my sheep hear my voice and follow me”. God never stops being God because He can’t deny Himself. True. However if you deny Him, He will deny you. Calvinist have got this wrong in my opinion. Also Peter describes the state of a person who, after being cleansed, goes back to the mud. How clear is that? The last state is worse than before being cleansed. Salvation is from God, through God and to God’s Glory. Although there are true statements being postulated on both sides of this idea. We must remember that our Salvation is secure but not unconditionally, we must continue to believe. Come Lord Jesus!😮
Hebrews 10:26 addressed animal sacrifices of the Mosaic Law, which was needless at the time Hebrews was written since Christ had already offered the one-time sacrifice for sin once for all. This verse simply doesn’t address loss of salvation.
@@himynameisjohnwumsh7631 Because until the day that we are absent from the body (flesh)and present with the Lord we will at times miss the mark of perfect sinlessness. The flesh is a parasite that always wants to sin. Galatians 5:17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. Romans 7:18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.
I had been wrestling with this topic for months now but the points Voddie and Jack made have given me a lot of piece especially now that I’ve started University. Thank you for this, God bless you!
I was saved in 1998, but then back slid for 23 years having no control over the pleasure of sex. I got a hold of some marjawana to make it better, until the spirit audibly told me: THE GATES OF HELL ARE OPINING UP was when I realized what I was doing was demonic. I then repented having a great fear of God losing my Salvation.
When you love Jesus and you stumble and sin, the HolySpirit convicts you of that sin and you feel so sad that you failed that you will repent of sin. And there want be no peace with the Lord until you do. Romans 2:4 Or despiseth thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and long suffering not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance.
Thank you so much for this video and teaching! I need prayers very badly! I keep getting sick and having so many problems that I started feeling like maybe I fooled my self in believing I am saved when I am not and maybe that is why I am not getting prayers answered. I keep getting beat down by demons and my own flesh! I need prayers to finally live victorious in Jesus and have more faith! Please!!! I am so tired of failing in life and my walk with Jesus! I know I have salvation in Jesus and can not mess that up but I just don't want to continue making a mess of things!!!
These are lies the enemy is feeding you. You are saved if you believe in Jesus, that He is the one true God and that he died for our sins. That’s it, you’re saved. You’re not alone with this, I’ve been going through a lot personally and with health and relationships and loss, as well as mental health issues. I thought God was punishing me but God doesn’t punish us, nothing bad comes from God. However, He may let you stay in these types of situations so you continue to turn to Him. He loves you so much, and in this weakness His perfect strength and comfort is what you need. Pray pray pray and don’t think that unanswered prayers are a punishment; this just isn’t how God works. It’s says in the Bible to take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ. You have to rebuke those thoughts when they crop up - these are intrusive thoughts and NOT of God. Rebuke them in Jesus name, and sometimes we have to wait on God. We find Him in the waiting, and He loves it when His children seek Him. Sometimes we have to be made weak to realize our strength comes from the Lord. I love you brother you will be healed in God’s time. In the meantime, I look at it as God is fortifying me for whatever is next in my life.
When I first gave my life to Christ, I always doubt that I was truly saved. Over the years I found for myself that I had to forgive myself for all the awful things that I did and that the enemy likes to keep our mind in the past and fear. But we know that Satan is a liar from the beginning of time and you have the victory through Christ. I pray that you come to place of peace and joy in your salvation and that his healing grace touches you for he is the God that heals all of our diseases, brokenness and mends things as he is the Potter who is molded you into his pleasure in the name of Jesus
Remember to pray and cast out any demonic forces in the name of Jesus. Read scripture, get into the word every day and renew your mind. God knows your struggles and He has a plan.
Pray for God’s will to be in your life. Study the Lord’s Prayer. If you’re praying for selfish desires, it probably isn’t gonna happen. Had to do the same thing myself.
i think why this is such a debate is that some might take ‘once saved, always saved’ as an excuse to sin. DONT! dont abuse grace. and im not just saying this to you, im saying this to myself. i just sinned lust like an hour before i watched this video. its so easy to slip into that mindset, and the last thing i wanna do is make that a habit. so again, dont abuse grace. God bless

No man fully knows all the answers, even the most elite scholars. We as Christians must stay vigilant and keep our eyes fixed on His words, the Bible. By confessing with our mouths, repenting of our sins and believing wholeheartedly and by faith that Jesus was born to a virgin, died on the cross to cleanse the sins of all man who accept and believe and was raised from death on the third day. John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that who soever believes in Him shall not die but have eternal life.”
Great stuff! I loved all their answers. I have been trying to get my JW family to believe the true and simple gospel for years. The won't accept the work of Jesus alone for their salvation. They insist that they need to do the works that the Watchtower tells them to do. Very sad! I will continue to pray their hearts change! God Bless brothers and sisters in Christ😁
Question, is it because it was said by a preacher named Vodie, or because an apologist said it? Or do we trust the word the final word of God? It doesn’t matter if 10,000 preachers stand up and say something, as with the Catholic Church and Martin Luther showing them that they were wrong, anybody can be wrong! There are far more verses old Testament and New Testament showing that you can lose your salvation. Preachers often stand on the fact that they say God says he will never leave you for sake you, was this not from the Old Testament? And what did God do with the people that he punished? Does God hates sin? Does God punish sin? is God holy? Because of his holiness, is he accepting of sin? Read Exodus 32:33 Revelation 3:5. God has continually punished sin since the beginning of time in fact punishing it with death, Jesus and Christian’s. Why is it we read the New Testament and ignore the Old Testament, is not the book of Revelation chapter 1 -3 written to the church? I have had more than a few people say that is not part of the New Testament, yet they will claim Jeremiah 29:11. Every pastor I know will say that when they know that they have people that are continuing in sin they say they were never saved, they never knew Jesus! I think, if they really examined what they knew, they would admit that these people at one time were faithful Christians, so many that have left the faith, so many that have continued on and sin, and I’ve never looked back, many dying apart from God. The Bible teaches us that if we live in sin, we don’t know Christ, look into Hebrews, look into Galatians, looking into any a book of the Bible, and you will see there are plenty of warnings! These warnings were written to the church and the people within the church ! Even Jesus said, why do you call me, Lord Lord and not do what I say, what does Jesus say to the people that are Luke warm in the book of Revelation? Why, in every letter to the churches does Christ say to him who overcomes, overcomes what? Be careful and do not be deceived, perhaps all of the pastors are correct, maybe if you can continue in sin you were never saved? Or perhaps you have just returned to the Mire… Is it not written in God’s word, that it is a terrible thing to fall into the hands of tge living God, is this not a warning? Hebrews 10:31 So many Christians now say that the are saved by Grace, and that God has forgiven them and will forgive them for everything no matter what, and they are living lives that are so contrary to the gospel with little thought, or care as to what their end of the bargain of the covenant was. We are called to be Christlike, we are called to be Holy, we are called to take up our cross and follow Christ daily! Yet how many believers even know the Bible at all? This is the reason for the deception from the current preachers in the pulpit. Years ago, when people first came up with the one saved always saved. It was sensible because people still lived, or at least tried to live a righteous and holy life, tried to live a life worthy of it. Now today, it has become a licentious license, one for sin and adultery., A very grievous thing to the Holy Spirit! I’m also almost certain that most Christians would tell you that God doesn’t punish either, and that there is no hell ….. furthermore Satan does not exist either. We have become a church like the current generation, soft and afraid to get our feelings hurt!
The parable of the sower and the seed shows what can pull us away from being willing to be in full submission to the will of god the father rather then your own.
The truth is You belong to a cult that has convinced you there is a God and he exists simultaneously as the sin of man, and that he grants wishes. You can't prove that's not the case, but I could prove it is with 3 words: think about it
John macArthur also said you can’t take the mark… It’s not arrogant saying I have not lost my salvation , like vodi said…in fact the way he says it, is rather arrogant… a person is saying I believe I can but I fear God and I’m sticking close, I believe my own conviction that my conscience is clear before God. That isn’t arrogant…. Anyone that doesn’t produce fruit is cut off… it’s clear in scripture… Dirty garments ,,, removed ffrom the book of life… departing from the living God…. Turning back… falling away….apostasy… taking the mark…over 75 warnings…. God will not be mocked and if you go back to sleeping with hookers and cheating on your wife, murdering people, turning on the body of Christ, blaspheming the holy sprit You will not enter the kingdom.. If Jesus comes back and your back living in sin, I’d fear what will happen… I fear this for myself as I am tempted at times to go back to my old life. I would never want to find out if you could lose your salvation EVER. I believe there is a point of no return…
So true! Plus the fact we need to constantly forgive others as the good king forgave his servant’s huge debt, but then the servant demanded a small debt from his fellow servant……”For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”(Mat 6:14-15)
This has helped me SO much ! THANK YOU For this video. I’m a doubting Thomas . And ask God frequently to please keep me in the book. And I pray and ask for forgiveness and repentance from my sins. I forget God has promised my name in the book. That I am never worthy of His love but by Gods grace Im renewed and when I pass away I will go to heaven. This helps me so much.
When reading the Bible, we have to discern if the Scripture we are reading is literal, prophetical, or poetical. The unanimous consent of early Christians was that a person is capable of loosing salvation by committing a grave sin without repentance as John spoke about in 1. John 5:16-17.
Praise God! Thank you sir for the clarity! I thank God for your content on so many spiritual matters. This is a much debated subject in the church yet the word is so clear! Why was/is this revelation so exhausting, and for the church's inability to make it plain??? Geez!
Plows, by design, are unidirectional. They do not go backward. Along with salvation, we are in dwelled by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is our plow and keeps us on that straight path. If you "lose" it you never had it in the first place.
Nobody has received full final salvation in this world yet or they would not be in this world... The saga continúes.... not until we stand in heaven glorified by the Light of Christ shall we fully know salvation - much as we can taste it or glimpse it at times down here... The arrogance belongs to those who believe they cannot be cut away by Christ (as a dead vine giving no fruit) AT ANYTIME HE SO WISHES, just as He says. Be humble - as difficult a thing as it seems to be to many Americans. These excitable baptist brothers should calm down when it comes to their self-rigjteous take on their own victory. They use chapter and verse like a cudgel to prove their superiority - I see no FEAR.... Yes, you have entered onto the path to your own salvatiion (I certainly pray) grace of God... - now show us by the light of His beautiful examole: live in Christ - walk the walk - let's see the FRUIT. Peace.
That was a sweet video! Thank you brother in Christ, John Henry! Trust me, I am a witness to not having to be super smart or have a college degree or be anyone who is "recognized" to understand this from scripture. I just read my Bible over and over, cover to cover, and eventually even I understand this. So brothers and sisters, you do not have to jump through hoops or be "special" to understand. Or even know Greek or Hebrew. You just have to actually be saved. To test if you are in the faith, please read the New Testament.
Exactly! They are the ones who trusted in their own good works to save them, rather than trusting in Jesus alone for salvation. Jesus says that He never knew them, not that He used to know them before they lost their salvation. Never knew them because they were never saved to begin with.
Read Roman’s 11. Galatians 5. The book of hebrews. So many many many scripture and full chapters dedicated to this topic. We have to endure to the end. These men are not speaking truth. I’m sorry
@@Bloodreign316 Oh don't get me wrong, God will not leave us but we have that option to leave Him. I have seen people that loved the Lord and something bad in their life happened and ended up going to a false religion. I agree we need to endure until the end and repent for being a sinner!
This was very helpful. I had problems with many of these scriptures which seemed to claim you could loose your salvation. A horrible idea! 😮 I sometimes think our ministers should make more explanatory sermons about this. These scriptures can make that Christians are confused and worried.
Voddie quotes MacArthur as if he has all authority over truth. The scripture is our authority and it is not for any private interpretation. If you’re living in the flesh, you will die. If you’re living in the Spirit, you will live. It’s that simple. Next case!

The amount of people that don’t trust the Lord in the comments is astounding and heartbreaking. You trust in the finished work the Lord did on the cross- or you don’t. If you believe you can lose your salvation- you don’t trust His propitiation. Please quit listening to fallen men and go to the Word. If someone walks away from the faith, they were never a part of the faith to begin with. Most professing Christians are not Christian.. Work out your salvation with fear and trembling, but then rest on the Lords assurance! What the Lord promises- He can bring to fruition. Trust Him and His righteousness, not your own!
Wow. You need to understand God is not in the business of kidnapping. We have free will. He has always let us chase after our own desires. But I suppose with your belief, I can live however I want, stop carrying my cross daily and live my selfish life with no consequences. Read the book of Hebrews. Read Roman’s. Specifically chapter 11. Enduring to the end! What do you not understand about that? Read Galatians 5. Those people won’t see the kingdom of God but you think they do if they’ve accepted Christ into their lives. This comment is what will send millions of people to hell cause they think they can live however they want to after they’ve accepted Christ.
the Word of the Lord repeatedly says someone can be cut off from the vine/tree if they bear no fruit. the Word of God says faith without works is dead etc. the Word of God says if you continue to sin after knowing the truth, there is no sacrifice left for you. the Word of God says the ones who knew Jesus and trambled upon His sacrifice like it meant nothing and continued on sinning are clearly worse than the israelis who perished in the desert even though God had delivered them at first. I agree don't trust men, but read your Bible without preconceived ideas.
@@user-iq4og8nb4h I don’t. I trust His Word fully. I am saved because of what my Lord did on the cross. Because the Holy Spirit dwells inside me- that is why I have works. Nothing can separate me from my Father. You sin less and less through sanctification. That is the Lords work. He who started a good work will finish it. He died once and for all for my sins. To say you have power over the Lord and His free gift He offers you depends on you- is you’d your wretched self righteousness. You trust the Lord fully and are saved- or you don’t and you’re not. The Bible also states all that are Israelites are not all Israelites. Not all who are claim Christianity are Christian. Faith alone or nothing at all. And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work. -if you rely on your own works to keep yourself “saved” you are not saved. Those who were removed were only acting- there was no faith. Those who walk away were never in the faith. Those that lose their “inheritance” never had one, because they had no faith. David murdered after the Lord said he was a man after His own heart- how is that possible? *Faith* Again- you trust the Lord fully or you don’t trust Him at all. Adding yourself into the free gift He offered, nullifies such gift.
@@amandawhite4590 i absolutely agree that all good works we do are because He actually does them through us, and because He made us new creations in Christ. That doesn't nullify anything i referenced though in scripture. We only gain salvation through the Lord, faith in Him and His Resurrection, that is a fact. A man is impossible to be saved by his own works or whatever else. But works are necessary as i stated. I can find the exact Bible verses i pointed out in my previous comment, but i trust my reborn brothers know them already. When i was first reborn, i was always hearing - you will keep on sinning till you die, that is normal, etc. And that led me to a path that i was compromising with sin and didn't really realize that God does make a way for us to not WILLFULLY sin anymore. It is not only possible but downright expected for a reborn in Christ to not willfully sin anymore, otherwise we make fun of Christ's sacricfice even though we are given freedom from sin. Your example from the old testament doesn't really stand because we have a hugely different covenant where God Himself shed His blood for us - we are not about to take that lightly or compare to e.g with the salvation from Egypt as Paul said.
@@user-iq4og8nb4h The Old Testament is relevant because it use used throughout the New- by using people who relied on faith alone and were justified. it isn’t normal to willfully sin :) Shall I keep sinning so grace abounds? God forbid. That’s how you test if you’re in the faith. If you are willfully sinning and don’t care, you’re not saved. Many people profess to be Christian because they “prayed a prayer one time” Most pulpits push this farce. We know we are saved by living for the Lord and not for our flesh. Exactly! We must continue to believe in the goodness of God. Romans 11:22 KJVS Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
There is no logical way around this fact. the verse you posted does not negate this fact. If you are given to Christ by The Father, you will hold fast. Not because of your will or exertion, but because of Christ’s grip on your soul, the command that The Father gave to Christ and the indwelling of The Holy Spirit. You are not strong enough, only God is.
I believe a person can lose out on their own salvation. I believe a person can back slide. Some come back some do not. GOD does not take away our free will to choose even after we have been saved. 1 Corn. 6:21,22; I believe I am more humble, believing I can mess up and lose my own salvation. Even Adam and Eve had salvation first and lost it. Even Satan had it first and lost it. Ezekiel 18:20-32.. The old is there for our learning. And if he can say this about natural olive, then it can happen the the wild. That is my little spin on it.
Any Christian who believes that once saved always saved is lost. Christ nor did the disciples teach this false doctrine. These people are dilusional. The real question should have been what can unseal you. Murder, false witness, adultery, etc. You were sealed when you accepted Christ and got baptized for the remission of sins. The baptism is a death burial and newnest of life when you come out of the water with a new garment unstained but their remains no remission of sins if you continue and stay in sin. Christ gave us grace from the law of sin and death so it does not carry the death penalty and have a chance to repent from sins that people struggle with but not if you continue on purpose.
@@eddw9 am not calling God a liar. There is no place in the bible that jesus said once saved always saved. I think u re having a misconception of the bible. Jesus told the adulterous woman to go and SIN NO MORE. Jesus said his coming would be like the days of Noah. What were the days of Noah like? Prophets were sent out to warn people to repent of their sins but didn't listen, the same is happening now. God is sending many people to warn his children to repent but many are saying once saved always saved. Many are swimming in sin. Once saved always saved can be compared to the broad way jesus warned us against. Pay attention to the word of Jesus, he said the narrow road only few will find it cos it's hard. Jesus said strive to enter heaven. Why would jesus use the verb "strive". After the crucifixion of Christ, Paul the Apostel had problem with sin, but through the help of the holy spirit he won that was why he said "flee from lustful desires". He warned us to run away from sins that wage war against the soul. 1 Corinthians 6,9-10 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither the immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor sexual perverts, [10] nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor robbers will inherit the kingdom of God.
@@eddw9 Where is Judas Iscariot after he died. All of the disciples were baptized and sealed. I am not calling God a liar. God is just. Perhaps your interpretation is flawed. Matthew 26:24 The Son of man goeth as it is written of him: but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if he had not been born.
If someone was a part of Israel, they would participate in the blessings and the promises that God made to them. However, if they continued in sin and did not repent of that sin, then they were cut off from being part of Israel, God's people. It is no different today. That is why we must understand what sin is and what righteousness is. Because if we truly repent and place our faith and trust in God through his son Jesus, then we will not continue in our sin. But what is being taught out there to many believers? Is that this single confession of faith that they have done in the past guarantees their salvation no matter what they do in the future. That is a false gospel and dangerous. Those who endure till the end shall be saved.
@@hdsamtehow about this, imagine claiming to believe in God as a child...then as you grow up and become a young adult you dont DO anything in your walk that bares fruit, you have kids out of wedlock,....then in the years you had to raise a kid you dont even teach your Kid about God while you live in your sin do you truly bear the fruit of your labour?
Satan works hardest to take what is closest to God. After my husband raped my 11yo baby girl, my sin was murder, and death still hovers near. That means you were never saved to begin with as God makes you a new creation, you are born again, sealed with a promise. God is faithful to us even when we are not faithful to Him. I also dont find any verses about being re-saved, or examples of this in the early church. Or about being born again again, do you die again and then are born again again? Why are only 2 deaths mentioned, and we are saved from the second? Under this logic you could die many times and need to go back over and over again. How much is too much? I dont find anywhere in the bible where it discusses how much and under what conditions you need to be to lose your salvation and then the steps to regain it. That seems pretty important to me if it were true. (2 Tim 2:13 - if we are faithless, he remains faithful-for he cannot deny himself.) (1 John 2:19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us. But they went out, that it might become plain that they all are not of us.) (Ephesians 1:13 In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit,) (Philippians 1:6 And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.) @@partybarge2608 God's word must be taken in context and compared against other scripture. Two things would need be true to make how you think about salvation correct. One would be that Christ's sacrifice on the cross is not all sufficient, that some sustaining work must be done by yourself to complete the work of salvation. Taking all of scripture into account that isn't true. Second you would need to ignore the character of God as being trustworthy and faithful. This is displayed completely through the bible that God is the only trustworthy and faithful one. God is the author of the scriptures, not Peter, Paul, or Moses. They physically wrote it but it was under the direction of the holy spirit of what they wrote. This theme of God's faithfulness to Abraham and the larger people of Israel despite their sins and faithlessness throughout the Old Testament is replete. In the context of what Peter is talking about and who he is writing to in 2 Peter the people referred to would not be brothers in Christ, but people who for a time went away from the things of the world because of the knowledge of Christ. Who appeared to be saved but were not. This is completely in line with the parable of the sower. Some sprung up quickly but didn't take root and were burned away. In relation this could be either rocky places or thorns from the parable. The point of the verses is not to make a theological statement on losing your salvation it is to make a statement about someone having the saving knowledge of Christ, but not receiving it. For them it will be worse then those who have never heard it. This also aligns with what Jesus said in Matt 10:15. In Matt 10:5-15 Jesus is telling his disciples to go spread the good news to Israelites. His statement there is directly saying it will be worse for these people who have heard the word and then rejected it. Same as in 2 Peter 2. Matt 10:15 - Truly, I say to you, it will be more bearable on the day of judgment for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah than for that town. Also, in 1 Peter you can see this: 1 Peter 1:3-5 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, who by God’s power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time

The True Gospel of Grace! (Good news)✨
[1 Corinthians 15:1-4]🎉
Jesus Christ shed His blood for ALL of our sins past, present, and future.
He was buried, resurrected and rose again on the third day, according to the scriptures.
We are saved by Grace through Faith in Jesus Christ Alone, not of our works, so nobody can boast!
It is Amazing Grace, something we did not and cannot earn, and something we do
not deserve.
God gave His only begotten son, (uniquely born of God, eternally existing before His human birth) that whosoever (anyone) believes in Him, shall not perish, but have eternal life.
How to be saved?
1. Admit you are a sinner, in need of the saviour, Jesus Christ.
2. The moment you put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ alone to save you from
death, you are sealed until the day of redemption. You are protected, cannot lose
your salvation, justified by the blood of Christ, and Rapture Ready!
(which is going to happen at any moment!)
(KJV)
2 Timothy 3:7 | KJV
Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth
2 Timothy 2:15 | KJV
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Amen! What an excellent statement! God bless you! ✝️🙏🙏🙏

Of course we can renounce God! We can walk away from God! The APOSTASY
We are the only religion in the world that has an assurance of salvation, and that is not based on our works or character which can be sinful or flawed, but on God's work and God's character which is perfect forever. Praise God for His great mercy on us that He would give us such a gift!
Im humbled and in awe every moment of every day of the love God has for us. When Jesus was on the cross he looked at you and said "your worth it".
@@Bradawick very well said! That brought tears to my eyes 😢❤ thank you Lord!
There is only assurance of salvation if we continue to abide in Jesus Christ.
God is not a goal keeper, but a soul keeper 😊
Wow that’s good

This is absolutely why we must rightly devide the word of God

If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.”
John 15:1-6 NKJV

John 6:37-40
“37All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. 38For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. 39And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. 40And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.”
If you are given to Christ by the Father then you can’t leave. If you imply that you can leave then that logically follows that Jesus failed to do The Father’s will, which is impossible. Those who leave never belonged to Christ and they were never given to Christ by The Father. There is no logical way around this fact.

Although there are true
statements being postulated on both sides of this idea. We must remember that our Salvation is secure but not unconditionally, we must continue to believe. Come Lord Jesus!😮
thank you, this is exactly my belief as well, and pretty well backed-up in Scripture.
Scripture says Work out your salvation with trembling in fear with God ( reverence)

Hebrews 10:26 addressed animal sacrifices of the Mosaic Law, which was needless at the time Hebrews was written since Christ had already offered the one-time sacrifice for sin once for all. This verse simply doesn’t address loss of salvation.

Thank you Sir for this testimony.

You would not need to repent if once saved always saved was true..
You fail to understand justification and sanctification.

Have you read the book of Job? Praying for you brother!
Thank you John, this is a great topic.
i think why this is such a debate is that some might take ‘once saved, always saved’ as an excuse to sin. DONT! dont abuse grace. and im not just saying this to you, im saying this to myself. i just sinned lust like an hour before i watched this video. its so easy to slip into that mindset, and the last thing i wanna do is make that a habit. so again, dont abuse grace.
Or perhaps you have just returned to the Mire…
Is it not written in God’s word, that it is a terrible thing to fall into the hands of tge living God, is this not a warning? Hebrews 10:31
So many Christians now say that the are saved by Grace, and that God has forgiven them and will forgive them for everything no matter what, and they are living lives that are so contrary to the gospel with little thought, or care as to what their end of the bargain of the covenant was.
Remember its in the Bible : " Very few will inherit the kingdom of God "
That is a sad verse.
@@himynameisjohnwumsh7631 yes it is and. very scary so everyday I try my best to impress him. I repent and beg him to take me and my family
Thank you the truth. It needs to be presented. God bless you.
The truth is
You belong to a cult that has convinced you there is a God and he exists simultaneously as the sin of man, and that he grants wishes. You can't prove that's not the case, but I could prove it is with 3 words: think about it
John macArthur also said you can’t take the mark…
It’s not arrogant saying I have not lost my salvation , like vodi said…in fact the way he says it, is rather arrogant… a person is saying I believe I can but I fear God and I’m sticking close, I believe my own conviction that my conscience is clear before God. That isn’t arrogant…. Anyone that doesn’t produce fruit is cut off… it’s clear in scripture…
Dirty garments ,,, removed ffrom the book of life… departing from the living God…. Turning back… falling away….apostasy… taking the mark…over 75 warnings…. God will not be mocked and if you go back to sleeping with hookers and cheating on your wife, murdering people, turning on the body of Christ, blaspheming the holy sprit
You will not enter the kingdom..
If Jesus comes back and your back living in sin,
I’d fear what will happen… I fear this for myself as I am tempted at times to go back to my old life.
I would never want to find out if you could lose your salvation EVER. I believe there is a point of no return…
This also explains God "turning them over to a debased mind". He says He won't strive with man forever.
So true! Plus the fact we need to constantly forgive others as the good king forgave his servant’s huge debt, but then the servant demanded a small debt from his fellow servant……”For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive
you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”(Mat 6:14-15)
Metaphoric, allegorical, prescription, descriptive, etc.
This is called a proper Hermeneutic
Not possible

Looking back from the plow is not to be advised though.
Plows, by design, are unidirectional. They do not go backward. Along with salvation, we are in dwelled by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is our plow and keeps us on that straight path. If you "lose" it you never had it in the first place.
That is a hugh relief, I heard a preacher say that a believer could be an apostate, that threw me in to confusion for a minute.

I understand “ depart from me I never knew you “ as we can do good works in the name of God but never actually have a relationship with Him.
Exactly! They are the ones who trusted in their own good works to save them, rather than trusting in Jesus alone for salvation. Jesus says that He never knew them, not that He used to know them before they lost their salvation. Never knew them because they were never saved to begin with.
I agree to both of you

@@user-iq4og8nb4h
The Old Testament is relevant because it use used throughout the New- by using people who relied on faith alone and were justified.
it isn’t normal to willfully sin :)
Shall I keep sinning so grace abounds? God forbid.

If you are given to Christ by the Father then you can’t leave. If you imply that you can leave then that logically follows that Jesus failed to do The Father’s will, which is impossible. Those who leave never belonged to Christ and they were never given to Christ by The Father. There is no logical way around this fact.
the verse you posted does not negate this fact. If you are given to Christ by The Father, you will hold fast. Not because of your will or exertion, but because of Christ’s grip on your soul, the command that The Father gave to Christ and the indwelling of The Holy Spirit. You are not strong enough, only God is.

Thank you so much ❤️
Once saved always saved is the Gospel. You’re calling God a liar if you claim loss of salvation

Many of us have been th=own a curve ball on this...thank you for such a great clarification. God is so Good, love Him so much❤
I don't believe you're losing your salvation now but I believe that you can leave your salvation and turn the other way. Because of the free will.
But they went out, that it might become plain that they all are not of us.) (Ephesians 1:13
In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit,) (Philippians 1:6 And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.) (2 Cor 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come. The old has gone, the new is here!)

That's the normal, weak, how can I try to stretch scripture to incorporate my wants argument.
Does it not talk about the great falling away in Revelation? Or doesn't Paul consistently talk about enduring or running the race?
2nd Peter 2:20-22 completely destroys your very misleading " they never really saved to begin with" nonsense.
@@DG51440Thank you for this encouragement! ❤
@@partybarge2608 God's word must be taken in context and compared against other scripture.
Also, in 1 Peter you can see this:
1 Peter 1:3-5
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, who by God’s power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time
@@DG51440 do you remember the prodigal son the Lord accepted him back do you recall when Jesus gave the parable of the lost sheep and the shepherd leaves the 90 and 9 to go find the wayward one??
Even the demons believe. That's the least question everyone asks, since if you are truly with God Almighty, Jesus Christ and Holy Spirit, the demons will know that you are protected, you are not perfect, but God is always with you since you believe and given yourself to him.
You CAN lose your salvation. Believing you CAN'T is no different than believing the false doctrine of "once saved, always saved".
So YOU obtained it? How did YOU do it? Pray tell. Because according to the Holy Scriptures, “For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.”
It’s not up to YOU to be saved my friend.
