Great video for people trying to jump into comp play. But i think the big number 1 thing is for anyone is buy the starter deck that matches the element you want to play. Divine runes are incredibly useful and important and theyre very rare outside of the starters. Then probably grab a fire and earth SD and most signles are cheap from there onwards.

The backdrop looks really nice I got distracted by the older games and city. 0:41

Love this content. The best part is that there is so many more other decks that you can lab from starter decks.

    Really nice video-
However I have a just few nitpicks-
First off, i feel like Krakatuga Burn/Water Fire is also a really nice budget option, especially if you're just starting out with nothing it's something worth looking into- even if it's not quite as good in an optimized setting-
Smoltuga, Necruff & Galaxea just have really nice synergy with each other and make for a really strong core to start building with- it's used in 5s for example
so if you don't wanna commit to 5 immediately, just starting out with 1 fire & 1 water deck gives you a pretty good starting point-
and compared to some of the other budget builds of the meta decks you suggested i think Krakatuga can probably keep up-
Once you pick up more starters & more staples it also becomes easier to pivot into a different strategy like 5s for example-
Speaking of 5, while yes Astrabbit and EQ are very good, I don't think those alone are enough of a reason to absolutely require you to pick up the thunder deck when you want to build 5-
they're both Uncommons in packs (I don't think they changed that for 1st Ed) and shouldn't be too hard to pull or expensive to buy as singles and if you're not trying to make exactly thunder nexus the thunder starter doesn't offer you a whole lot- maybe Zeus for an Elechik toolbox-
Lastly some of the ratios in the decklists shown don't quite match the starter decks that you recommended to get for the budget versions-
like for 5s you said 1 Water starter is necessary, but that only has 2 Galaxeas, while the deck you showed of had 3-
And for the earth deck you recommended 2 of the earth starter, which would only give you 2 rummagem total, even though your list had 3 in it-
Doesn't make the decks unplayable, just pointing it out in case some people get confused by it-
Still a great video regardless- Can't wait for more to come

I was wondering what I could do since I actually did get one each of all the starter decks. I did it more as a collector side of things than actual deck building but also figured I could make something out of them. Once first edition comes out, I will get one or two booster boxes since I didn't have the money at the very start of kickstarter nor did I have a chance to grab the ones from left over kickstarter. I do wonder if I should pick up another set of starter decks though to get those play sets. I'm surprised you didn't mention the stadiums unless those are more tier A or B cards in your opinion.

Is this game going through normal distribution???? Orrr what

if you define normal as in retail box store style, that may still be a bit away. Last I knew, @aDrive\ @Elestrals can correct me, is still selling first edition through the online store. Second set may also be sold this way but hopefully by the time third rolls around, the manufacturing and distribution will be large enough to get cards at least to your local game shops if they are interested in it. The very few shops I've visited I have told them about this game in hopes they would at least buy a few boxes\starter sets.

Wow. A video that requires to buy almost everything. Interesting…..

I would think the same but buying like 5 decks still wouldn't match up to buying a play set or even a 1 of card in Magic the Gathering if we are comparing prices. Some mtg singles can go for 100s if not 1000s of $s
