Stunning! I do have a question: did you do anything to the underside of the lazy Susan so it would not harden with drops of resin? I’m curious if you can tape it or use a silicone, or if it all drops off the sides of the lazy Susan without leaving any thick residual on the bottom. I appreciate all of your tutorials- thank you for inspiring me!😊
I love your technique more than anyone else. But I have a question. If I want to do this technique on a counter. How do i do it. There won’t be any drip on the sides for me to use. Any Suggestions? Thank you
That’s a great question. You could just light spray a little bit of spray paint into your white. But most likely you will still have drips even when doing a counter. The resin will still self level out and the excess resin still has to go somewhere
"This is what I am trying to get the hang of, to redo my own counter tops like this. My problem is doing too much!! But Im affraid to do the whole counter like this, because of the time issue. But at the same time, I have to, so that it all blends together. But having to wait until the end, so that my veins dont widen is key. Whish epoxy do you suggest for this job of mine, so that it has enough working time, UV, and have the durability? I also will want it to be a matt finish. I was afraid I would have to hand paint all the background and the veins, to have more control over the project, butt...I am not an artist! I also am going to put very small little areas of either metallic silver, or a metallic copper, ever so lightly. Oh heck, I have been stuck on stupid, watching all of your videos, I am just going to go try and make a sample board to get a rough idea. Have I mentioned that you are the best and I think I have a girl crush on your talents??? Thank you so much for all that you share with us.
Im miserable if i can't create on a regular basis. Most people don't and won't try to understand anything beyond their own nose. They look at me funny when i point out the many colors of a sunrise.
