in this video I take you along with me to make a marble effect tray for the very first time. I absolutely adore the results and I hope you love the marble tray too.

Process:
I made a large batch 1000g of resin.
I split it in to two pots.
I added white to both.
I then poured some of this white in to three separate pots.
In to which I then poured my colour choices.
Black, brown and pink.
I made a separate gold but made way too much.
I poured the white and the colours at intervals into the original large cup and poured. - แนวปฏิบัติและการใช้ชีวิต

When you said “resin has a mind of its own”.. you hit the nail on the head! Just started making resin art and some turn out great and some I just have no clue what happened 😂
I held my breath each time you added more colors/resin but it was so worth it, they are stunning!

I apologize for not knowing the accents to the countries. But i think it’s so neat how we all can communicate living in other countries.

I can't belive I missed these before, they are beautiful! I found a pair of that type of handle at a flea market yesterday and couldn't remember where I'd seen them before or why I wanted them. Now I remember!

The trays turned out amazing..I need to make myself a plaque that says Less Is More... to display on my resin table.. I have trouble stopping with (say gold lines) then I go overboard. You did great Claire. Thank you. Hugs Sheryl. 💙🎨💙

Use the stiff cardboard from packing boxes as trays, Claire, so you can gently move things when needed, even if just pulling over a couple of inches!!
Heyyy lively ... I usually do ... I have boards .. I just didn't realise it would be so floppy at that stage and just grabbed them 🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈
Claire they're all beautiful but I'm partial to the marble ones most. You might want to watch Rhonda from RK3 Designs - she is an awesome teacher and although she mainly does countertops, she does some amazing marbling. Have learnt so much from her. Have a lovely day Claire :)

Awesome job. I plan on doing this for a project of my own, QUESTION : what was the point of the pink pigment, because I didn't really notice it? Do I need to put it in, or can I leave it out, because it seems like I can leave it out and get the same results. I am about to try this myself on a stand I am creating for my fiance's ring.
Do you wait for it to be a little dry before sticking the handles in??

I like the lizard but love the revamp into Italian marble (I too have no idea what that is but it sure seems like it would be) I can’t wait to come visit you one day and have a pour party! Instead of a pool party we will pour!

500 Grams is that 17 OZ? That's a LOT of Resin! That's like $18 worth of the Resin I buy. These look lovely well worth it!
Yes 500g is a lot ..🙈🙈 VUBA is £27.48 for 3KG ... you could get 6 trays from that... so it's a great resin when you need large quantities xxxx
That price doesn't include the top coat though ... but a top coat is optional anyways xxxx So glad you like them 😍😍😍😍

Omg amazing Claire, I have seen resin dirty pours before but never used in this context. What a fab idea and result. I'm definitely going to have a go. So tell me, is Glass Cast heat resistant? Not surprised everyone loves the purple tray, can you do a tutorial next time you make one? What kind of cup was that you were using
Hey ... I was using a large Calibrated cup for Resin. They are from Amazon .. if you search Calibrated cups

I can’t remember if I told you my husband died 11/22. He had his leg amputated in August. He had circulatory issues from diabetes that he didn’t take care of plus a flesh eating bacteria. His leg never healed and the infection won.

Hi lovely .. the resin I use now for everything is Vista Cascade ... and Vista Coaty for top coats x
Hello, my sister resin artist! I was rooting you on all through the video! We said, "Wow" at the same time TWICE. I've got a table full of Let's Resin supplies waiting for me to start some trays, but I saw this pop up in my feed and I stopped to watch. Bravo! I'm doing river flow, volcano flow, and rose quartz today (if time allows). Fingers crossed. Wish me luck!
