Disturbed got me through my highschool career. I lost my grandparents a few months before my sophomore year. They were my lifeline. When I attempted, no one noticed. This was the first metal song I heard an odd 10 years ago. I was at my aunt's and my brother was playing this browser game. I don't know if anyone even remembers it, it was something where you progressively got more and more zombies at your disposal and just unleashed them in a city, with a woman, a reporter cutting off in between levels as things just went more and more to shit. He had this on in the background, and 7 year old me had a 'neuron activation' kind of moment. Years later, when I hit middle school I got into a dreadful hip hop phase and the songs that yanked me back to metal then were Fuel by Metallica, and Inside The Fire by Disturbed. Because of these bands, I made a decision to get my electric guitar after suffering with a shitty classical guitar for so long. I love and appreciate Disturbed truly, for the good music they do. They've inspired me, and countless others to get into music and learn for themselves.

So , it was 2010, less than year before I was going to Afghanistan and our drill sergeants played this song as we were taking the infantry creed. I'll never forget that moment, since I went to war literally a few months later. This song has very special place for me. I hope it does with the rest of you in your own way.

The UNREPORTED, true deathrate is around 9% across the board, with the elderly dying at an even higher rate. That rate is due to hospitals not being inundated with extra patients, and being able to give extra care to people who need it. If we reach the point where hospitals can't give extra care to all Covid patients, the death rate could climb to as high as 19%, which is an apocalyptic number. Not just because of the death toll, but because with that number you can more easily start losing people with vital information/jobs, which can cause a chain reaction that absolutely devastates the human race. This virus is only slightly worse than the Spanish Flu, but that tiny margin is the difference between tragedy and horror movie level death.

This was the first metal song I heard an odd 10 years ago. I was at my aunt's and my brother was playing this browser game. I don't know if anyone even remembers it, it was something where you progressively got more and more zombies at your disposal and just unleashed them in a city, with a woman, a reporter cutting off in between levels as things just went more and more to shit. He had this on in the background, and 7 year old me had a 'neuron activation' kind of moment. Years later, when I hit middle school I got into a dreadful hip hop phase and the songs that yanked me back to metal then were Fuel by Metallica, and Inside The Fire by Disturbed. Because of these bands, I made a decision to get my electric guitar after suffering with a shitty classical guitar for so long.
I love and appreciate Disturbed truly, for the good music they do. They've inspired me, and countless others to get into music and learn for themselves.
