hi 1 important question are fig roots that are colored brown useful does it absorb water and fertelizer?

Fig roots turn color as they age. When you root a cutting, the initial roots are white and very fragile. They turn yellow when they begin to age, and turn brown as they become more mature. Brown roots are older roots.

Good timing, thank you! I was thinking of a coupling device and cutting the damaged part out and rejoining the two pieces because with the type of repair you showed you lose whatever length of hose was between the hole and the end of the hose. Have you ever seen or done a repair that I described?

My blowout was at the end of the hose, so I did not need a hose coupler. I showed you the exact part you want if you have a blowout in the middle of the hose during the repair, and I have the part linked in my Amazon Storefront. You want to be sure you purchase a metal compression type. They're the only fittings I find that don't leak.
