I love how it fits in the pocket. Much more comfortable than a tubular light. I rarely use full brightness since I'm mostly lighting up areas near me. Too much light makes it harder to see things. Do wish it had USB-C charging instead of the proprietary adapter but that adapter does make the light waterproof however.
I think it's all about expectations. In turbo mode it's 1300 lumens for 4 min and then it switches to 420 lumens. So it can be quite bright if you press button 3 times I think. Btw you can set it to press 2 times for turbo. To me it's a city EDC light, it's a good fit for a pocket and works well when need to find something in dark corner or during power outage. Or check how clean a room is with UV light. I wouldn't consider it as a work light or light for camping. My biggest issue with it that battery is not replaceable and it has proprietary charger, but as a city EDC light it's totally fine. For the wilderness I use Thrunite lights, they are reliable, not as expensive, have long runtimes and you can carry spare battery.
100% Agree with the birghtness vs size. And I have the ultra... Wish they didnt put the uv and added more light. One spot, one flood and a setting for both. As a contractor the laser comes in handy when I do have the Arkfeld on me. But I usually carry the Seeker4 mini
I believe the front of the Olight Arkfeld Pro is a Poly (plastic). The Ultra is Glass. No one should be buying this light that does not want the laser or UV light. I purposely bought this for an EDC with the INTENT to use the Laser & UV & The light for general use. I have a separate Nitcore that I use for Tactical. There is NO light that is EVERYTHING. I would RELATE the Olight Arkfeld Pro as a CSI utility light. It is not a Tactical light and was never meant to be one. Hope that helps!
Naw, I'm not messing with Olight just from their reputation in the firearms industry. Plus I thought they where a budget brand? Coming in at a hundo for that is a bit much.
Thanks for the opinion, if it’s not the right light for you get something different, why make a video complaining about something you purchased. The features of the Arkfeld Pro are useful for some, obviously not for you. Moving on 😂

I think this light might be overrated. Good video.
Thanks for letting me know, i was looking at that light, but now ill just look at it from afar, lol.
Any cheap green laser pointer is twice as bright as this one as well.

It's 1300 lumens. What are you a detective? LMAO It is my EDC, left leg, tac pants. It just works and I am a Chief Engineer. HANDY
Send it back to Olight and they will send you a new one. I am speaking from experience.
I guess I will just bite the bullet and get Cloud Defensive MCH-HC

Klarus, end of story
Overpriced too.
