This video will show you how to spray bed liner in your own garage by watching my technique and through the tips and tricks I give. I got into detail on how I prep a car before applying the bed liner as well as demonstrate me applying the Raptor Spray on bed liner. I honestly think this is a really cool idea... this surely will be much more durable than regular paint, especially in a race car where you've got stuff getting worked on, taken out, and put in, all the the time. Good luck with the event bro!
Dude, with the light primer colour against the red bed liner, it reminds me of a red velvet cake. The bedliner looks fluffy lol. I think the exterior should go championship white now 👌
We always do the inside of our truck cabs also underneath etc with raptor liner. Good shit 👏

It would look cool with some red type r style seats, gives me vibes of 80s cars with the full red interiors. At least in video the texture gives it sort of a velvet/velour look almost.

When you done the engine bay I wasn't completely sold on the idea but now the interior is done as well I think it looks kinda nice plus all that bed liner should help to stop any droning noise you get as it will have a dampening effect👌looking good Adam and can't wait to see this in paint🙏👍John UK

I did this a couple years ago to an EF Hatch, unfortunately my channel never took off. Love this look.

I plan to do this to the exterior of my Tahoe. It's an older NBS, cammed and stuffed on some meats. Would perfectly cover my chipping GM clear over white
bed liner will quiet the interior down quite a bit as well. This really isn’t a new idea. It’s a great choice even on cars with full interiors. You may not see it, but you’ll definitely notice the difference. Love it?!
It should work like dyna Mat too and deaden the road noise.
Man, I've been planning on doing black Raptor liner on the interior and bottom of my EK project for a couple years. I think it should help with road noise on a civic with minimal interior.

i had someone tell me that raptor liner would reduce panel vibration and be a good undercoat before dynamatting for a system.... as to how true that is ....idk.... but i thought about doing it to the inside of my last car before i blew up the bottom end and spun a rod bearing

My hatch came with bed liner sprayed and dynomat laid on top on the inside. If it looked this good I wouldn’t be mad, but it was done really bad. I had no idea till I bought the car, and removed the interior. Sucks to remove so now I’m stuck with it.
Not sure about below the rust belt, but up here that would actually cause it to rust faster. I know, have a volvo 240 wagon covered inside and out
What grit sand paper did you use to prep?
some block off plates for the inside would look sick i don't know why people don't do it. can't weigh that much more and cleans everything up nice.
Can you paint or clear coat over the raptor liner?
I worry about the rubber coating inside a hot engine bay. Also wondering how heavy this stuff is compared to paint.

My question about using bed liner (other than in a truck bed) is, what if you want to change the color later? Seems like it would be perminent....Could you just sand it down like regular paint?
Good question. I have a k5 that is yellow now but will do a color change to black with purple suspension... so if I do it now I would want to do yellow.
Yea it is sandable with 180/120/80. If wanting to keep liner you just scotchbrite pad it.
We use this product all the time. It's not rubberized. It has hardner. If you don't mix color in you can spray you coats and wait 15 mins 20 mins spray your color over it wet. Or wait to dry and scotchbrite.
Just curious why didn’t you spray in side the doors?
I myself have contemplated having bedliner sprayed (Rhino or Line-X) on the interior of the car for years. Never intending for to be seen.
But the reason I ask about the doors is because the inside of the doors is one of the main spots I wanted done. And one of the primary reasons I have actually been thinking of doing/spraying the interior.

My thought process being that spraying inside the doors cavity (with everything removed- window track, etc;) it would help drown out road noise and maybe most importantly IMO I thought it might improve the sound quality/experience of the audio system?
So yeah it’s why I wanted to do the interior of my builds. I never intended for it to be seen bud I dig how it turned out so….

Side note: on top of this I’ve also wondered for years if sound deadening products such as Dynamat and such will/would stick to the bedliner very well. Because I’ve wanted to do both. To help control cabin temps and as I said most importantly improve the overall sound/stereo experience?!??
