thank you for this video :) your musks are something out of this world, musk aswad makes me travel in time, a time I don't even remember, but so familiar to me, it's divine, if only the animalic notes weren't so strong on my skin :p for time to time I still smell it for the nostalgic trip to the unkown. Hy Everybody. I have a question that I've been carrying around for a long time. Maybe someone can give me an answer to it. OK....i had a white musk oil long time ago witch smells like Hairspray when I put it on my skin and after a while there's a magic super long lasting scent coming through that smells hmm??.... Powdery, woody, rich, almost creamy a little bit. But this magic ingredient is not in every white musk. Jovan musk oil has a small amount of it inside and musk by alyssa ashley also smells a little bit like it but after 3 hours and only very gentle. Do someone know what I am looking for since 20 jears? It's addictive, magic, warm, cosy, relaxing. And it's coming back when you stand in the rain and get wet. I greet you all out there. And hope to get an answer. Ps: the scent lastet for days on my jacket. All the best for you👌😊
You are looking a scent called 'mitti' in hindi or urdu. Its sand or mud scent, like after the rain drops on the sand. In arabic its called 'Touraab' some brands may have it as Touraab or mitti.
Either this or you might be looking for Vativer or Khuss in hindi or urdu. Again very earthy grass like fragrance and very long lasting.

I always thought that white Musk was a plant called "Musk Lil" that we can find in North Africa, I wasn't right, but I wasn't far from the truth...

I don’t think doka dove and Kilian use real deer musk it’s probihitted and very expensive, only artisanal brands use real deer musk like areej le dore and ensar oud.

Hi, I don't think because it would be too expensive. When you see " Notes of Musk" or "Notes of "Ambergris" it doesn't mean there is musk or ambergris inside but it means it smells like that...

Essentially I like a nice blend of Arabic and french style of perfumes so I find the House of Amouage as a top pick coz I feel it has the best of both worlds.
I don't like particularly heavy/incensed and dark fragrances, yet I like it to be rich and fresh. Could you recommend a few attars of yours which are rich/fresh/woody/musky/oud (but not too heavy)/citriusy/sexy/ please?

But I can't figure out what the high street brands are using, and what the synthetic safety profile is. I'm just looking for examples to learn what is inside my perfume bottles. And whether I should continue to avoid skin contact with them.
I've been told the prophet loved musk and ambergris. But both of these are extremely expensive and rare. Even in the arab world it seems. I don't think I've ever smelled them.
