He starts off annoying, disrespectful and proud but later becomes nicer and even starts respecting Asta and the rest more

The captains would keep it from the public eye until the time comes while still rewarding the Huge part Asta played in saving the kingdom? Hardly too much to ask if you ask me but to each their own.

1. Asta defeated a Ancient Demon same as the one which Lumier killed and saved Clover Kingdom before heading to Spade Kingdom.
2. Asta saved Spade Kingdom, Yami and Vangeance by stopping Lucifero from Manifesting.
3. Asta literally killed Lucifero and became first magic Knight to kill a King of the Devils.
I don't care what reason they bring up, Asta deserves his much now.

The Wizard King even the Captains really know who's squad have so many achievement during the attack of Eye of the Midnight Sun it's Asta he Nullify the elves and he defeated the Demon, but not Asta himself but during those Arc the Black bull really did well. Yes they are worst squad but in terms of combat they're so Overpowered squad and they don't care about ranks, each black bull squad the only high rank by themselves is the only one Captain Yami. This is black bull they're not only squad member but a family with crazy ideas and surpass their limits.

The Main reason why I put those a Vice captain rank because in episode 168 Captain. Fuegoeleon stated that almost the Black bull squad could be a Vice Captain means Captain Fueggy Acknowledge those squad in terms of Combat.

For anyone saying yuno has a bunch of plot armour, Asta has just as much like the guy has anti magic ( legit counters the way this world works) and a devil basically equivalent to yunos wind spirit or stronger as in the story we get to see how strong devils are. And again in the current manga how is yuno a grand magic knight while asta just got promoted to senior magic knight yuno showed us great feats during the spade arc I'm not gonna deny that asta should've gotten the same title instantly Just doesn't make any sense to me

Unfortunately for Asta, he still needs to go through all the rankings like Yuno. Asta lucky he is a Senior magic knight.
This is basically like when Buggy became an emperor but way worst and completely undeserved. Really helps pinpoint my rage for this character tho haha
