    Good vid. It’s encouraging to know I don’t necessarily need to go out and buy the latest foil specific sails!

    Really well done. Nice work showing the basics. 💯
    Looks like it's rigged perfectly. Nice n smooth in control. 🤙

    Hi, slingshot wizard has an adjustable plate mast attachment correct? like its not a deep Tuttle. On minimal wind condition, do you move the foil mast forward or backward? which way has more lift power? thx

      Hello, yes the newer wizards have adjustable foil mast tracks they do not have tuttle box. For large foils I move the foil further forward for example the i99 was on #6 the i84 was on #5 settings on the board foil tracks etc if the foil is not behaving in good winds then move it back, if you find too much back leg pressure then move foil forward. Only move 1cm at a time though

    Hello! So many camera views thanks!
    So what's the position of the mast with this very front wing? Also, did you try foot straps in the outside position? And why don't you use two rear straps in the inside position, just where your back foot seems to always stand?

      Hello, I set the back of the mast plate at #1.5 in the tracks, I prefer the single rear strap because I use fairly small sails and prefer my weight to be over the mast to turn and carve, if you use big sails, then having the footstraps out on the rail will give you better leverage when foiling upwind.

    I'll try rigging my Ezzy 5.8 even more baggy than it already is after watching this. I'm able to use it in windspeeds similar to the video but I weigh a lot less than you so I should be able to use it earlier. Thanks.

      Yes, as little downhaul as possible, just enough so the battens rotate and dont get stuck in gybes etc. Good luck

      @@peaplecreative Due to your suggestion I dropped the downhaul a notch and barely outhauled at all today allowing me to sail my 6.6 in the very lightest conditions yet. Thanks, you saved a session and probably more to come as I really enjoy sailing in the lightest conditions possible.

    Was this the right sail size for the conditions or were u underpowered?

    • @peaplecreative
      @peaplecreative  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sail size and wind strength depends on your skill level and experience. The biggest sail I ever use now is a 5.0 but I have been wind foiling since 2016 and have worked on my light wind pumping technique.
