    It's simple, the heading should ALWAYS match the top of the OBS, regardless of flying TO or FROM. When flying TO and tracking a radial, then the radial you're tracking should be set at the bottom of the OBS. When flying FROM the station, the radial should be set at the top.

      Except in LOC BC approaches. They employ reverse sensing and can be unintuitive and tricky to navigate for student pilots.
