      It's impossible!
*Nearly* impossible and *completely* impossible are two different things.
Especially when we're following the optimal quantum probability. Yea, yeah billions of alternate possibilities show the Enterprise got destroyed, we literally do not care.

Commissioned in 2363, decommissioned (what was left of it) in 2371, and Picard takes place around 2401-ish. 38 years. I actually thought it was longer, because 38 years is pretty young for a museum ship. At least when you consider the US Navy, where their supercarriers tend to stay in service around 50 years, and the Iowa class battleships were in service off and on for 49 years.

“Doctor I didn’t have time to work on the weapon systems so you’ll need to target them manually.” But yet Beverly target locked the weapon emplacements? Didn’t notice this the first time around but it seems the writers kept forgetting what they were doing with her. In the scene before this she was holding her MEDICAL tricorder (the one glued to her hand for the last 30 years) to let the five people on the bridge that “all systems are ready” instead of you know simply looking at ANY control panel on the ship. That and the fact Troi is sitting in counselor seat just along for the ride. Atleast plop her I the seat she used to crash the Big E into the planet, that would actually make look useful.

There was a good deleted scene where the Port Nacelle was still playing up and Data went down to fix it; and Deanna instinctively jumped into his chair before Geordi could get the chance.
She tells him that ‘he can’t pilot whilst he’s captaining’ and he reminds her that both times she flew the Enterprise, she crashed it - to which she comes back with ‘Third time’s a charm’.
      Should’ve left that in.

Two things are striking here. I can't see what's going on in the cube, it's just too DARK. I can see what's going on on the D bridge. Second, the Titan's phasers look incredibly weak compared to the Enterprise-D's big ring emitters. What an unfortunate downgrade the Enterprise-G is.

Well, they brought him back in season 1 of Picard in the dumbest way because they purposely setup a method of his return when he died the first time in Nemesis. He backed up his Data to B4 in Nemesis but in season 1 of Picard, he was recovered by a couple of positrons scooped up from the site where he blew up in Nemesis. No idea how you can restore an entire positronic neural net from a couple of positronic nuerons and they don't bother to even try to technobabble a half-hearted explanation. I think they were trying to get at it being Data's soul or whatever.
Picard season 3 largely ignores this (rightfully so because it's completely inconsistent with Trek cannon) and goes back to the original plan where his essence and neural net was backed up to a prototype and then copied into a nearly perfect analog of a real human body developed by another Soong we had no idea existed before season 1 of Picard. They made it make sense (enough anyways) despite everyone from Generations forward not knowing what the hell they were doing.
