    More videos like this, please. I love seeing ways that people are using technology to improve people's lifestyles and further advance the human race. So much better than just seeing the constant reviews of this phone or that computer over and over.

    I’m currently 28 and was born deaf, with a closed ear on my left side and about 20% hearing on the right side. I would say my life would be much harder without the functions of my hearing aid and the compatibility and power of the iPhone. I connect my hearing to my iPhone using Bluetooth, and with that I am able to have phone calls made so much easier, able to listen to music, etc. . I can’t use 90% of headsets cause I can’t hear without my hearing aid, and if I wear a hearing aid and wear headphones it’ll make my hearing aid squeal with feedback. I am forever grateful to technology, Apple, and the ability/resources I’m blessed with to use this type of technology, considering shit was 4000 for one hearing aid, plus the extra cost of the iPhone itself. It’s also one of the only hearing aids I’ve seen that doesn’t require an external box worn on your neck. Anyway, I am grateful for technology like this and it has helped me tremendously to be able to hear and work with phones in a corporate setting, so I appreciate you highlighting something that most people don’t think of. I’ll always be jealous of those with organic sound, but thanks to technology my handicap has been reduced significantly.

    Is the application suitable for Kanso?

    • @katyagardiner4003
      @katyagardiner4003 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It doesn’t work with any cochlear implant that is not the N7.To Answer your question, it is not suitable for kanso. I wish It did work with the other cochlear implants.

      Logan Littlejohn hearing impaired is different than being deaf. There is a major difference, and many people who are deaf prefer being deaf, and many do not want a cochlear implant. People with hearing loss generally prefer having a cochlear implant.

      I am HEARING IMPAIRED not DEAF!! There is a big difference between the two. The deaf community doesn’t like having the hearing impaired to be apart of their community and the hearing community doesn’t understand about the hearing impaired until they start loosing their hearing. Yes, I read lips and know some sign language. My hearing loss isn’t bad enough for a cochlear implant but some day it will be and then I’ll decide if I want two of them.

      Some people like me don’t like the word deaf and it is a different thing to hearing impaired.
