week 2 of asking fWhip to build a lighthouse cause this village is perfect for one. and for the name - maybe Krabslif - with many place names, You can kinda hear the separate words that used to describe the area (in this case crabs' cliff), but over time they mushed together into one word amalgamation
Can I second this as I agree. Besides, it is near a dangerous cliff and most dangerous cliffs had a lighthouse. However, you could try a lightship which would be really cool.
I personally like the idea of calling the village Waystop, cause it's really a small village that's just a brief stopping point before continuing on your journey. And maybe add a graveyard with a large tree bent by the constant winds? The cliffs and shoreline can be quite dangerous, especially when storms blow in off the water. Maybe a fishing boat dashed upon the rocks as well, to add lore and environmental storytelling as to why the village is so sparsely populated.
I like Reston but I also like the idea of designating a Waystop.. Maybe Reston Seat, to indicate that it's the place to take a load off and not organize inventory? Edit: The snack shop can be called Reston's Eats lol
Since Fwhip is starting to collect banner patterns, I think it would be cool for some of the towns and cities to have sort of flags. Like how countries have flags.
crazy to think about how many people don’t watch fwhip. been watching for at least three years now and i’m still just as obsessed, could never be bored. love seeing how much progress he’s making on his world it’s so good
He has a World tree. He has an End tree. What if….. he made a Nether Tree? Your videos are wonderful and artistically inspiring. Definitely my favorite Minecraft TH-camr
The cove makes so much sense world building wise! The cliffs built earlier establish strong winds and waves and a cove would protect the ships. I just find this kind of environmental storytelling so cool
FWhip I reckon hanging washing lines across the streets of your city would be a cool way of closing off sight lines and making the city seem more lived in
As always another lovely video fWhip. Halo Lore: When the Master Chief first met Sgt. Johnson, he thought Johnson to be an ONI operative, since he thought of his name to be overly generic. Little did he know Sgt. Johnson wasn’t an ONI operative but was actually a member of the Spartan I or Orion program. Johnson’s full name is Avery Junior Johnson
Yay FWHIP! I love these building episodes where you compile a bunch of builds into a small city. I’m currently making a riverside/port city in survival for the first time, and it’s really helped watching all your incredible videos.
You could name this village of yours “Skye Shores”, based off of the fact it’s atop a high cliff overlooking the shores. Also, I really like how you’ve done this place. Maybe stick in some fences just in case though… if a villager can go somewhere, it will!
Great episode fWhip, I always find the smaller projects tend to be the ones I enjoy most. Something tells me those hills will slowly fill up with tree's, lol. Keep up the great work dude 👍
Hey fwhip!!! Just an idea but you should build a marketplace in place of where the bells are!!! Maybe even a fountain at the center of the market and one of the bells on top!
Hey fWhip, when you first built those cliffs I thought that you would put a castle where the village is. I think a castle with those cliffs and the coast would look soooo good somewhere in the new region.
I saw the ice land bio you flew over and I think it would be cool to add an ice kingdom in like a mid evil theme and the lore could be that the ice, desert and grass land cities or kingdoms either are at war or work together. Just a suggestion and I think it could make a cool build.
Guildcliff would be a cool name since the main inhabitants are craftsmen. It could be a self sufficient commune similar to how monasteries function thats focused on training crafts people on various trades
I love how you uploaded this when I just started making my own custom village. I have the town hall nearly complete. But that and the gate and wall is all I've got so far.
Love love love your builds so much! I wonder how you see Minecraft build trends evolving in the next 5 years since your style and Minecraft YT’s style has evolved so much too. For me I feel we’ve moved past mega builds and are definitely on a more cozy “let’s build villages and cities” track and I think you’ve definitely contributed to the hype and love for that style too!
Have you done a video on fWhipTwo explaining what mods you use? If not, that would be extremely helpful! Including the QoL stuff like how you can increase gamma with just a button press.
I think a cool village name would be greysen-cliffs Pronunciation (Grey-zen-cli-ffs) Edit: I think the grey part would be because of the typically grayish color pallets for cliffs and foundations, and also the custom cliff designs would help shape the name of the village (Also luv your vids and would be honored to be a part of your world even if it’s just a name)
The village should be called Tuff. Cause of the rough and tough lifestyle a windswept seaside town would have to live. It fits with your one syllable theme as well. ....Also cause of the tuff blocks.
As someone who has always been super ocd with builds it’s reassuring to see you build very cool stuff with so many different blocks. It makes me feel like I can extend my pallet a little
Maybe for the noteblocks/copper grates, the noteblocks are full crab pots while the grates are empty ones? Which would explain why the ones on the side are the noteblocks and the extra noteblocks at the building, since the ships probably would've just come back from doing their thing out on the water!
Hi Fwhip firstly I would like to say that I absolutely love your content and find your world amazing. In regards to your city have u thought about gradually making it more poor and run down as you get further from the mega tree so you have an old ruined side and a rich done up side?
I never knew you could put lillypads on water logged stairs, this feels like cursed info but now im excited bc i learned something new and can use it for building stuff.
I propose the idea of calling the village vindklip or something like that because that is a rough trenslation of windcliffs in norwegian, which I personally feel kinda matches the vibe of the village as it is by a glacier so it's probably pretty cold just like norway.
I think you should add more runied structures in your world. As all the structures youve built so far are lived in. In a medieval world there would be plenty of abandoned rundown structures aswell. Maybe a castle thats been half torn down
HI! I think you should name this tiny village after the city of Venlo, Netherlands. The story behind it is pretty simple but not too many people knows about it. Venlo is a Dutch town that played a significant role in map-making during the 16th and 17th centuries because of Arnold Mercator (Famous cartographer), the son of Gerardus Mercator, who lived and worked here.
I think it could be called Woolstonecraft as firstly Wollstonecraft is a name of a suburb originally, and woolstonecraft reveals three aspects of the village. 1. The wool of the Shepard and the banner patterns 2. The rocky cliffs that surround the village 3. Ties into Minecraft. Have a good day to anyone who reads this comment
I think maybe like 3 or 4 more buildings would fill the area a little better, but still leave space for more nature elements. But as always though amazing work Fwhip
The little village looks really nice and cozy. I like the harbor and the new trees. 👍 Btw did you know that farmers can only harvest crops within a radius of 8 blocks around the composter?
Idk what to call this place but I do have a couple ideas for what you can do for houses along the cliff side. Build the houses a little over the cliff side edge and then add in posts going down in to the lower cliff side areas.
I love this village! It’s so cute and I feel like the villagers living there would have more of a connection cause they live in more quaint place. I think a cool name for the village could be Clifty! Cause they live on a cliff and all that lol. :)
this little village feels like it's due a lighthouse, being that it's on a coast and has docks also maybe a bit of a wall, just so the villagers don't get too lost
12:25 I thought you were gonna plant a wheat field. Idk, Ig I just thought it would make more sense since then they'd not only have bread and cake, but also something to breed the sheep and chickens with. Are you gonna do a wheat field next episode? As for the name of the village, maybe "Crabberry Village" would be a cool name? It's a mix of the crabs they catch and the sweet berries bushes around the village and the sweet berries being red like crabs. :)
@fWhip on thing you should add to the harbor area is a wave break in the water. I think I recall keralis did a couple of them during hermitcraft szn 7 and I feel like it added so much to his area
not sure why but i think a good name for the village is “sea salt bay” the village reminds me of kettle cooked potato chips for some reason. “salt kettle bay” is a good name too for it. btw love your videos a ton fwhip!! like your my favorite minecraft youtuber and i always get super excited whenever you upload :3 keep up the fire content
Hi there! I really enjoy your videos and I wanted to share a few suggestions for your next project. In particular, I think it would be interesting to include some ancient buildings that have been destroyed over time, rather than just barns and sheds. These could include libraries, observatories like Baldur's Gate 3, or even a ruined fortress that wasn't rebuilt after a siege. For my own world, I created a large battlefield inspired by the White Orchard from The Witcher 3. Shields, swords, and rotting flesh are all over the place, but I tried to avoid making it too dark. What do you think?
You are such a good builder, and i just wanted to suggest that if you want to do a magical build you should make a village in dedication of Disney, building a house for every major step and characters they have made. Its okay if ou dont do it but it's just a suggestions.
Great video! I love the Cartographer village. Why not naming it “journey” in another language? Because you’re near the ice spike biomes, I would choose a country with lots of fjords. Journey symbolizes the seaside vibe and cartographers.
I’ve noticed a lot of your builds have a portals that usually are hidden away in interiors; I think it’d be a great instead to idolize nether portals in the context of their settings. This would unify the world more by establishing lore plus it’d be a fun build challenge I think.
A good name for the village could be Klippe, which is cliff in Norwegian because it’s a cliffside village, or Klippevann, which is cliff water in Norwegian because it’s overlooking the water.
You should add different type of banners as if they are from different kingdoms and in my opinion that would add a lot to story building in your world. Love from Lithuania
I personally think that the village should be called "The Iron shore" village, and than you can make like a statue of an iron golem to really give it some lore
Nice episode fWhip I have a name suggestion for the Village you could call it Crustheim a combination of Crustaceans (for Crust) and Viking for the (heim part).
This is a very magical world with the tree, and the half destroyed castle. Instead of hiding the portals u can make them a part of the world. Probably could even give them lore like some one rediscovered these ancient portals and figured how they work and was able to use it as a transportation system. U could have it owned by one person or company or u could maybe have wizards or something in the world and only they know how to build them.
Hey fWhip! You should play with the Distant Horizons mod. I think it would be amazing being able to see your builds far out in the distance. Truly a game changing experience!
I think a good name for the city could be Osprey, it’s an ocean bird of prey that migrates during the summer months. Also it having a bird name would be funny with the white stained cliffs lol
I loved your Builds, I suggest starting the New Series with the Perfect World 2 (Create Mod) Modpack by Mr Beardstone. I'm in love with that series and with your Building Skills you'll be able to create cool builds with a new type of Minecraft Experience for your Audience.
10:00 install the mod Diatant Horizons for a even higher render diatance, you will be able to put it up to like 200 Chunks if you have like 16-20gb of ram applied, I play with 96 Chunks and 14gb of ram. Love❤ this world and how you create your content 😊
Hope you enjoy today's episode on the hardcore world! What do you think of the new village? Really happy with the small town vibes here :)
First reply
I did =)
Btw the village looks great
Fhwip you are such a great TH-camr among my favourite keep up the good work
Fwhip is him
I think an abandoned, ghost-type village off the beaten path would be cool in this world too.
week 2 of asking fWhip to build a lighthouse cause this village is perfect for one. and for the name - maybe Krabslif - with many place names, You can kinda hear the separate words that used to describe the area (in this case crabs' cliff), but over time they mushed together into one word amalgamation
I have a fun plan for something... kinda light-housey.. but will have to wait for the future! Too much excitement for the city project right now :)
@@fWhip 👀
Sparrorow!
@@fWhip You could ad a Little Fletcher House were the big House down the Cliff , Like a shooting aria …
Can I second this as I agree. Besides, it is near a dangerous cliff and most dangerous cliffs had a lighthouse. However, you could try a lightship which would be really cool.

Maybe a fishing boat dashed upon the rocks as well, to add lore and environmental storytelling as to why the village is so sparsely populated.
I like the Idea of calling it Reston, as an amalgamation of Rest and Town
While I like the idea of Waystop as a whole, what got me to comment is that spectacular pfp, just gah damn it looks pleasant af
I like Reston but I also like the idea of designating a Waystop..
Maybe Reston Seat, to indicate that it's the place to take a load off and not organize inventory?
Edit: The snack shop can be called Reston's Eats lol
@@JackTast1c thanks! it's a picture i took last august of a sunset
Since Fwhip is starting to collect banner patterns, I think it would be cool for some of the towns and cities to have sort of flags. Like how countries have flags.
I definitely want to make some!!!
I think Lithos is a cool village name. It means “stone” in Greek and fits well with all the rocks included in the village
Agreed!!
crazy to think about how many people don’t watch fwhip. been watching for at least three years now and i’m still just as obsessed, could never be bored. love seeing how much progress he’s making on his world it’s so good
same
Fr, thanks to him, my building skills improved
Literally same, such a comfort channel for me
Emperor's new Grove is the best movie ever, I'm so glad that another person knows of its greatness. Thank you fwip, you made my day.
Groove.
@alivelake69 Thanks, My grammer isn't the best. Nor is my spelling
you mentioned emperor's new grove so now i must ask you to put llamas in the village named, Kuzco, Kronk, and Yzma.
He has a World tree.
He has an End tree.
What if….. he made a Nether Tree?
Your videos are wonderful and artistically inspiring. Definitely my favorite Minecraft TH-camr
A nether tree made of the two woods twisted together and lit with raw glowstone and festoons of glow berries?
True
@@Faesharlyn Now that’s a beautiful idea
A vineyard would be pretty cool in this village, especially with it being so hilly!
Absolutely love the interiors of the shepherd and cleric builds
The clerics new home is very cute; i love the greenhouse! I am excited for the rest of the village^^
The cove makes so much sense world building wise! The cliffs built earlier establish strong winds and waves and a cove would protect the ships. I just find this kind of environmental storytelling so cool
YYESSSS! Thanks for the early access Fwhip!!!
It’s crazy to see how much better at building fwhip has gotten since the beginning of this series
12:01 Moving+reversing that churchs position= Perfect light house foundation imo
Fwhip: builds nether portal to save his elytra
Also Fwhip: takes a trip home on his elytra
Fwhip: *has a giant lag problem*
Also Fwhip: *decides to use banners for his new decor style*
It looks wonderful though!

got so much flashbacks at 14:58 ......... at least you survived the infamous baby zombie capable of ending hardcore worlds ^^"
At least this one didn't have gold armor!!
I think we’re all now expecting a relaxation palace now after the Emperor’s new Groove links
Great episode fWhip, I always find the smaller projects tend to be the ones I enjoy most. Something tells me those hills will slowly fill up with tree's, lol. Keep up the great work dude 👍
I really love this series. As someone who doesnt game and has never played minecraft. Its the best. Living through Fwhip.
I have a few suggestions on what you could build in this world.
1. Pirate town
2. Viking Village
3. Volcano island
And a ghost city.
I think the name Blackstone works well for the village because of the black cliffs surrounding it. Love the video, as always!
You should make a old gnarled twisted tree that looks like its been bent over by the strong winds that came off of the ocean
As always, love that thought-out texturing and pallet! So exhausting but also so worth it 🤩
I saw the ice land bio you flew over and I think it would be cool to add an ice kingdom in like a mid evil theme and the lore could be that the ice, desert and grass land cities or kingdoms either are at war or work together. Just a suggestion and I think it could make a cool build.

A few names for the new village:
Cobble Quay (pronounced Key)
Quirks Rest
Rubble point
SeaHolme
Labourer's Landslip
Rockpool
Molt Bay
"It's giving FACE." that made me fully laugh for some reason
I love the village, one little detail I would add if I was as good as you is that the trees are bent to the side because of the wind
Can you do a goat farm at some point? And maybe some graveyards! Always nice to think that the villagers have someplace to be laid to rest ❤

Idk what to call this place but I do have a couple ideas for what you can do for houses along the cliff side.
Build the houses a little over the cliff side edge and then add in posts going down in to the lower cliff side areas.
For the bell you can build a church with a tower that will have the bell in there. Hope you like my idea.
I love this village! It’s so cute and I feel like the villagers living there would have more of a connection cause they live in more quaint place. I think a cool name for the village could be Clifty! Cause they live on a cliff and all that lol. :)
Crazy how he can make some blocks that seem use less and make them pop so well.
I would suggest a cauldron with an infinite water source nearby to clean the banners if you've made a mistake. Enjoyed the video.
Yay, Fwhip posted!!
You should make a monument like the tower of Pisa, like it’s really old
i love that it's not too crowded it looks amazing
I liked the name that inspired of the place and formation of the rocks.
The name that i like is DOCKY' o ROCK.

I love the video! City idea make a music club/bar and collect all the music disks to store them there!
you should make a road automation build
spits out all the road materials in shulkers
You should add different type of banners as if they are from different kingdoms and in my opinion that would add a lot to story building in your world. Love from Lithuania

"Stonewind", cuz... There's stones... And wind, or "Roquind", a cooler way to spell rockwind
