Our team and cricket infrastructure are far better than our useless commentators. They dance, sing and play fun while commentating because most of them were average players and therefore lack the knowledge of cricket. Our great players who are knowledgeable have become so rich they don’t want to take up any such assignment.

Lots of regards to Wasim Akram, the best bowler of his generation. We used to watch the trio of Shoaib, Waqar and Wasim for Pak during our childhood days, now we 🇮🇳 have managed to get the current best fast bowling trio in world cricket.

I am an Indian. Not a fan of Babar but i really feel for that guy. He has been criticised a lot in this world cup by 'experts' and lots of memes were made on him by public. That man has an average of 40 in this WC with 4 half centuries. You are as good as captain as your team is. Tell me how many runs did Tom Latham or Temba Bavuma made or how many wickets did Pat cummins took? Their team is so good that their captains's performance has been overshadowed by that. Man i know he pakistani but he is a human being too like us. How he would be feeling being in centre of all this?
Babar is such a fine batsman. He is just unfortunate that there is a lot of turmoil in their Cricket Board. If he had just left the captaincy and focused on his batting only , it would be easy for him, but he kept it for the sake of the team.
IMO one of the biggest sin one can do is to hurt someone's heart.

Very true bro. Even, I being an Indian, just don't understand what mistake Babar did. However, remember the decisions taken during fielding or the fielding changes done by Cummins, Bavuma or Latham were really effective which Babar couldn't do. He kept on bowling some bowlers from one end even though they were getting shot left right and centre. So yeah, Babar's captaincy is pretty minimal.

What I feel is that, it was a team Failure.. With Naseem shah's absence, Pakistan's new ball bowlers were average, Spinners were not performing. More often than not, their batsmen collectively failed as a unit.
A couple of things we need to understand is that.
1. The best player may not always be the best captain.,
2. Even the best captain in the world cannot win matches when the players are not performing to their potential.
Captaincy cannot be judged only with results. There are other parameters too to look after, like strategies, decision making, motivation etc. But if the captain is not able to absorb the pressure and his individual performance gets badly affected due to captaincy, it is the time to look for alternates.
Babar is one of the best batsmen in the world. It may either be a lean patch due to form out, or may be due to the pressure of captaincy. Only he can answer this.
Let PCB, team management , coaches and other stake holders address and analyze the situation and take necessary steps for future.

Pakistan's downfall started after Naseem's injury. It affected their bowling unit, it is not as potent as it was earlier. Excellent show Askthe Pavillion. @@S_K_J Agreed, Pak needs to build the bench strength (specially for their fast bowlers). I realize Naseem is younger of the lot of fast bowlers, but when he was bowling it looked like it brought the best of Shaheen and Harris. Naseem is special in world cricket as a bowler and plus he is decent with the bat too, he is going to make a good name for himself if he takes care of his health better and avoid injuries. Just unfortunate he missed this WC2023.

I think there's another factor why Babar and his Team struggled in this World Cup: playing in India's conditions. Unfortunately, for whatever reasons, Pakistan had minimal exposure to Indian pitches compared to other countries. I hope someday, some sense will prevail on both sides and reignite the bilateral series. Good job Team PAK👍
😂what kind of past experience Afghanistan team have playing in India, Won half of the matches in this wc group matches. Take whole matches at both sides, history also proves Pakistan team played more matches than Afghanistan in India. So Don’t blame on pitches they have an idea. I must say that ur show every single day has been truly incisive, fair to all teams with each of the four as great as the other. After every match, I’ve always been looking forward to the show. Of course, what more can we expect from 4 fantastic cricketers who have been there, done that. Wasim Akram is perhaps an all-time zabardast pacer who can only be compared with the W.Indian greats & possibly to Imran in the sub continent. His run-up & delivery stride is truly poetry in motion. Shoaib is India’s damaad & I wonder if his son grows to be a cricketer, which country will he allow him to play! Or will it be, cricketer ho tho Pak ke liye kheloge aur tennis player ho tho, Bharat ke liye kheloge. Misbah like Miandad was Pakistan’s ‘Mr dependable l’ & Moin Khan, the best WK Pakistan has ever produced. The anchor of the show has also been great with a good knowledge of the game & invoking the best out of the 4 greats by raising the right issues. I’ve been trying to find some negative aspect of the show, but frankly haven’t been able to find one. Keep up the show, buddies. A septuagenarian cricket fanatic! wasim akram is always balanced and to the point..
People remember spinner by their magic deliveries, for eg: Warne to Strauss, Ash to Cook, etc. People remember Shadab by his full tosses to Sharma. This speaks volumes of the current pakistani spinners.
It also looked like that Pakistan sent a T20 outfit to compete in ODI wc. Bowlers lacked the enthu/plan/fitness to bowl 10 ovrs with same aggression and batsmen lacked the patience to wait and pounce on the right time when things went downhill.
I am an Indian, and I follow this show. Is there any other show that talks about cricket the way these experts talk? Really great show.

World cup.. unbiased show.. great host .. legends in all four chairs. Beautiful show with fun, great analysis and outstanding quality
I feel the performance of a team doesn't entirely depend on the form of their captain. Among the 4 semifinalists, Bavuma for Rsa and Cummins for Aus performanced rhe least among the other players. But their teams have qualified quite comfortably, which shows that the team can still do good without their captains being their biggest match winners.
With Babar, I think he got starts in almost every match, but failed to convert them into big scores. Considering how the top batters from other teams like Dekcock for Rsa, Virat and Rohit for India, Warner for Australia and Rachin and Mitchell for Nz have performed throughout the world cup, Pakistani fans have every right to be disappointed from the performance of their best batsman..

Siraj and Shami benefit a lot from Bumrah being an absolute menace on the other end and vice versa. Against Pakistan batters can choose to play it safe vs Shaheen because they knew they could whack Rauf on the other end. Naseem has been a massive miss not just for what he brings to the field but also psychologically to his partners in crime.
My humble request is to include waqar Younis sab!! Seeing my My childhood hero Wasim Bhai in this show is a bliss

Heard all sorts of criticism about Babar's captaincy, failure as a team & team management's failure...but it came into media that Pakistani cricketers haven't received their payments for last few months. Is that true? Team performance depends on many factors & and long-term planning, which, of course, isn't there in Pakistsn. Really funny is that PCB gives more weightage on foreign coaches when star coaches are available in their own country...this is really funny😅 Foreign coaches...exception is there though...will make 💰 & go away. Pakistani cricketers , on average, don't have good communication skills in English. This is a real concern, too, as there is never a complete communication between foreign coaches & players. I think PCB is fully responsible for the entire mismanagement & taking Pakistani cricket onto a gloomy future. What's really frustrating is that super talented cricketers like Akram, Sahid Afridi, Waqar Younis,....so many others....are just doing criticism but not confronting PCB & taking the responsibility & challenge on their shoulders. It's very sad to see talents are unutilized & in the long run, this sports will lose its popularity too.
At this point everything in Pkaistan is running like this. Nobodies knows whats going on. Uncertainity is at its peak.
In the entire Indian sub continent, this is best cricket show where unbiased opinions and analysis are being presented. Indian news channels should learn how to organise and present with facts. Kudos you to the organisers and presentor.

Wasim Akram is not right. It is Babar Azam the captain who insisted on taking below average T20 players even when Mibah/Hafeez suggested to take Imad and Saify.
