and unfortunately for his sister's fans who most are between the ages of 15 and 23 give or take, his influence on the music they make for is more to his taste than her fans. His album is just the follow up to her album.
Because he doesn’t moisturize.
Zach and Finneas are the perfect interview duo. Zach asks questions, we didn't even know we wanted answers to. Finneas is so comfortable he goes off into his real-self brain mode. Loved this interview. One theme I picked up is that for Finneas it's not spotlight or background or writing album songs or scoring films--he wants it all and mixes and mingles things to keep loving what he does, staying challenged, and working in going to Trader Joe's.
Finneas is just a total genius. His lyrics, vocals, production is just insane
His show at Coachella was my favorite of the entire weekend. Brilliant.

I always LOVE listening to Finneas’ Zach Sang interviews. If not for any other thing, I hope he comes out with a project every year so we can have him on the show. This also makes me miss Claudia and his podcast so dearly. It was always such a delight to listen to

I just love and appreciate the fact that this interview includes both Billie's evolution AND Finneas' accomplishments and solo career. Both are so important in his own evolution but he's so underrated for his solo work and the songwriting/prod credits that he has.
Finneas it's not only a genius lyricist and singer, producer but he is hilarious, he's so funny and chill

I just love Finneas. I saw him on both tours and he was phenomenal both times but on this tour he was next level. Like jumping off the piano and triggering my “ be careful “ voice. Plus we got to see Claudia because we are home town stop.

Finneas is such an amazing human being. His whole family seems so lovely, talented, intelligent, creative, compassionate, and I am just in love. I feel so blessed to have found Billie and his music, and just became obsessed.
And then the more I learn or watch interviews, etc, the more enamored and in awe I become. So proud of Finneas and Billie both, and to hear he's helping artists become their best selves just sends me to the moon! Music is my life and Finneas is a blessing to music. 💖

Zach is the most present when interviewing people and bringing out the real soul of the person and their talent. Finneas I knew of, off and on, as I can barely watch his sister (I guess I'm too old at 66 to even relate to her, her songs are confusing and all sound the same to me) After the first interview on the Zach Sang show, I looked up Finneas' album #OPTIMIST and found his videos on TH-cam. He is genuinely talented song writer and singer. He makes REALLY good videos, he keeps his eyes open, makes eye contact to the camera and they're so entertaining. I would go to his concert! And I did buy the album (on Amazon Music)

[May 19, 2022] I watched this interview several times before but noticed something funny today - FINNEAS is a funny interviewee - at 24:32 when you and Finneas are talking about "filling holes", Finneas - right in the middle of that conversation - inserts his middle finger into the neck of his water bottle - I thought, "there's something FREUDIAN about that!" - the subconscious self (the ID) doing its thing! When you see it in the context of the interview, it's actually both comical and suggestive and a little bit unusual - how many times do you see people insert their finger into the hole of the water bottle?!
