She is amazing. I love that she is 17 because I feel like it gives adults the opportunity to look at young people in a different light and pay attention to what they really have to say. I'm 21, and I look up to her in a way. She is so real and authentic. She ain't cocky but she has a confidence that is so respectable. I'm 24 and a lot of my peers think she's a pseudo-deep and pretentious post-tumblr kid (I don't even want to know what my parents' opinion would be on her.. probably even worse). Her lyrics sound like something a teenager would scribble into their diary.. which essentially is what it is.

Zach is the best interviewer out there. There wasn’t a single cliche question that I’ve heard her be asked before. I’m also so glad you guys asked about the industry plant thing. I just read about it a few days ago
Well her telling about touring and leaving your friends and family behind, and them moving on is hard, was also on the apple-interview. (yeah i've been binge-watching her interviews on the internet...)
Also instead of promoting a product or service mid way through he straight up attempts to save lives by talking about those trains. He is a caring human.

For me, Billie, it's so many things ranging from simple to deep. You and Finneas have the insight of 50 people combined. You're a vegan, which is impossible not to respect, even if you are because of your mom raising you the right way. Your voice is intoxicating, in a way that I don't get to experience with very many new artists. There are these parts of your songs, these things you say, that hit me on an internal level and I feel exposed but also acknowledged. Despite your depression, you still have a sense of humor. Sometimes people say that your music might not be appropriate for younger children because they think it's a bad influence, however, I think in those instances the lyrics have not been studied. I can tell more what's you and more of what's Finneas.
There's something beautiful about how your music incites and acknowledges the pain and devastation of humanity but is also able to soothe at the same time, like...how...is that possible?
I didn't even want to like you. I went in with every intention of expecting you to be some robot fed to us by the industry but what the hell did you do, did you, Finneas and your parents fight for your music?
You love animals/horses. You love takis. You're respectful. Creative. Unique.
And you're unapologetic about your weird fucking personality, it's beautiful.

Tldr;
I think ultimately because I'm in the worst place I've ever been, I feel so helpless with humanity, and I don't know what it is about your music that makes me feel that pain but it also helps me, it's this little sliver of peace and beauty in sadness when the rest of the time there's only misery in that sadness.

Ever since I started listening and loving her music, I can't get enough of her. But this interview was amazing!!! I love her humor, her way of being herself. There is simply so very much to love about Billie Eilish!! And this is coming from an old man who drives his daughter crazy by constantly playing her music. I think I listened to No Time To Die from the Brit awards an hour straight one time with headphones. I respect the fact that she is herself the whole time and not just an act!!! I will always love her music and adore her!!! She is genuine and amazing!!!
Billie is the result of cool parents, a cool sibling and a cool upbringing ... both she and Finneas are completely charismatic and their music isn't just different - it's incredibly cool too...

I love how billies really talks about the difference between learning/memorizing when it comes to school. The public school system generally teaches us to memorize/recite facts to do well on tests rather then retaining the information and using it later on in life. I honestly couldn’t even tell you my senior year schedule, because it had no value in my life. There was nothing to hold on to, no memory or experience that would allow me to tap into the information.

For me, Billie, it's so many things ranging from simple to deep. You and Finneas have the insight of 50 people combined. You're a vegan, which is impossible not to respect, even if you are because of your mom raising you the right way. Your voice is intoxicating, in a way that I don't get to experience with very many new artists. There are these parts of your songs, these things you say, that hit me on an internal level and I feel exposed but also acknowledged. Despite your depression, you still have a sense of humor. Sometimes people say that your music might not be appropriate for younger children because they think it's a bad influence, however, I think in those instances the lyrics have not been studied. I can tell more what's you and more of what's Finneas.
There's something beautiful about how your music incites and acknowledges the pain and devastation of humanity but is also able to soothe at the same time, like...how...is that possible?
I didn't even want to like you. I went in with every intention of expecting you to be some robot fed to us by the industry but what the hell did you do, did you, Finneas and your parents fight for your music?
You love animals/horses. You love takis. You're respectful. Creative. Unique.
And you're unapologetic about your weird fucking personality, it's beautiful.

Tldr;
I think ultimately because I'm in the worst place I've ever been, I feel so helpless with humanity, and I don't know what it is about your music that makes me feel that pain but it also helps me, it's this little sliver of peace and beauty in sadness when the rest of the time there's only misery in that sadness.
