    One of the best things about the Sapphire card is the RGB will work with any MB, would be nice if all manufacturers made their GPU’s RGB work with any MB without having to install their software.

      4k is definitely worth the upgrade. Recently got a 4k monitor and it looks so much better than 1440p. Also now with frame gen and upscaling I can play games in 4k ultra and still get over 144 fps. It works so well

      @@JordanK I downgraded from a 4K 60Hz gaming monitor to a 180HZ 1440p gaming monitor. I've now witnessed the fluidness (is that a word?) that higher refresh rates brings to the gaming experience. So I definitely wouldn't go back to a 4K 60Hz monitor. And if you're wanting to game in 4K then get ready to pay for it. 1, the cost of going above 60Hz to a 4K 120 HZ monitor and 2. you'll have to start messing about with graphic settings to reach a decent frame rate for the 4K 120 Hz monitor. It's just not worth the hassle, imo . I'm sticking with 1440p monitor.

      Yup. I have a 1440p 144hz ultrawide and I don't feel like getting a 4k one even as I own the card in the video. This beast runs everything at native res and max settings at the monitor's max refresh rate. Modded games with extremely heavy graphical mods are a joke now.
      I do wish it was an IPS monitor though, but it was out of my budget. Though the colors in this monitor still manage to look fantastic.

    I currently have a ASUS TUF Gaming RTX 3060ti OC 8gb and have moved my radiator from a front mount to a top mount just to make room for the monster cards that are now in the market. I also have upgraded my PSU from a 750w to a 1300w. All of this in anticipation of upgrading my GPU and now I am at the point where i can but i haven't convinced myself to pull the trigger.
    This is the exact card I have had my eyes on but I keep talking myself out of it then back to it. Power consumption and overheating are little things that are in the back of my mind that are keeping me at bay. I don't overclock and I have a very similar case setup as you do... just a bit bigger case. My first rtx 3060ti had artifacts after 2hrs of use and I still have nightmares from that return process.
    Anyways Please Sell me on this Card! Tell me I just need to bite the damn bullet and get the sapphire RX 7900xtx. personally if I can get all high settings on the resident evil games Ill be happy... especially RE2 remake, that's the one that keeps telling me 8gb of vram just isn't enough.
    thanks in advance!

      @@JordanK It's here! They wasted no time sending it to me. I have it installed now and my computer did not explode so it's a win-win so far.
      Gonna pick your brain a little about it. For your PCIe cables did you give all 3 8 pin slots their own dedicated cable to the PSU or did you have to use a daisy chain? My PSU only gave me 2 PCIe cables so I have one that has it's own and the other two I had to use the daisy from one. I might have to order another depending on how good or bad it is to do that.

    • @Brioshi87
      @Brioshi87 ปีที่แล้ว

      Further research on my end I have come to the conclusion that its more beneficial and safer to use separate cables for each 8 pin slot so I have ordered more and will play it safe until they arrive.
      So far I have tested it out on some of my more demanding games and I can safely say that It beats the hell out of my old 3060ti this things a beast! Defiantly glad I went ahead and got it. Thanks for the recommendation!

    Why would you get this over 4080? It draws almost double the power and performs only slightly better at select games.

    • @JordanK
      @JordanK  ปีที่แล้ว +16

      You're right. Slightly better in the games you select and then out performs by a significant amount in most others.
      Also with all the shady practices and anti consumer crap Nvidia has been pulling recently I didn't want to go with them.

      And has more vram, 4080 has only a mere vram of 16 lol

    Bought the same card. I replaced my 6900xt Red Devil. The Nitro+ runs hotter & is much louder than my Red Devil. AMD has problems with idle power & multi-monitor support. Connect 2 or more monitors & idle power draw was around 100-140 watts. GPU vram would stay maxed out. Couldn't play VR with the new 7900xtx. Driver's are terrible with VR. Returned the Nitro+ & bought the 4090. All my problems were solved. AMD needs to allocate more funds to their driver dept. I'll stick with Nvidia for now.

      I'm hoping to see improvements in drivers as well. I've noticed a few quirks, but I also have never had an AMD card. Just wanted something that wasn't Nvidia this time around

    even 850w is little you need 900w but to be safe go with 1000w
