Congrats on 900 🎉 Wow, what a video. The sheer immensity of scale is astounding. I mean Three Sisters or Jeff or Adams in spring alpine conditions are similar, but not the same across such a large area. Gives even deeper meaning to the term "untrammeled wilderness." I'll be watching this s couple more times this year.
You and I think alike. We have all this same stuff, just not to this scale and immensity. It is SO vast! And we got to see it when nobody else was here. Not even a Ranger. Literally all to ourselves.
Love how you captured what it's really like, especially the cornice at mather I've always been an advocate for may alpine conditions. But still photos and text pale next to great vid/music
Another thrilling video. I had to watch it twice! It gave me a lump in my throat in a few places and a little misty-eyed. You did a wonderful job of editing, showing the challenges, the thrills of accomplishment and the camaraderie among your trail family--priceless. The scenery was stunning and your choice of music perfectly set the mood. Congratulations on 900 miles! WOW!
It’s really cool to see your adventures among the trail. Scenery is spectacular and your videos captures everything perfectly. Keep up the great work and safe travels!
The snowpack isn’t doing too bad up here except in places. Most of the way there is so much snow and water it’s hard to believe. All the lakes are totally full. Yes, I’m lucky to have my trail family!
Hey Magnet! It's Kirk & Tricia - we met at Silverwood Lake and drove you to pizza. We are so proud and excited for you! We were hoping to meet up again, but Kirk is off shortly after we met. Dr told him no more backpacking or he would further injure his back 😞 But we are cheering you on! Tell Alex hello too! 🎉🥳❤️
Sorry to hear about Kirk’s injury. That sucks. We were just talking about that ride to get pizza last night! I tell Alex we heard from you both. Cheers!
Almost too much with that music - in a good way - hard to keep the emotions contained. 😌🥲😮😍 So many memories- i will definitely be walking that path again. 🏔 Coincidentally watching on the precise anniversary of my late-in-the-day solo Mather Pass traverse in that May 21/22nd snowstorm- where i completely lost the trail - all north face tracks obscured under fresh snow… precipitating a retreat over Bishop Pass back into town to recover. Would do again tomorrow 😀
Nice to meet you on Sunday, Puma! Great videos! You should be proud of your accomplishment! Best of luck as you finish up!

AMAZING!
Good to see all the snow considering our low volume this year. You’ve got a nice trail family out there!

I think I met them once, like 6 weeks ago. Thanks!

I get it! I’ve had the rights to use that first song for a couple years but never have I had footage to match it until the last 7 days.
